00:08I mean, I remember the first time I ever come into Essence as a spectator.

00:12This was before the world knew who Raheem Devon was.

00:15And Man Sen, one of the dopest shows, Boyz II Men, Aretha Franklin, I think was on that show,

00:24Anita Baker, Mary J. Blige.

00:28Like, this was, I mean, this was like many moons ago.

00:31Luca Vandross performed that night.

00:34Earth, Wind & Fire, I believe, performed that night.

00:36And I had like a great nosebleed seat.

00:38You know, of course, my seats have gotten better over the years.

00:41It's great to be part of the experience, watch it grow as my artistry develops as well.

00:47And I look forward to shining on the main stage someday.
