00:21weekend of picnic of love. Oh, I would say get ready. It's crazy. It's fun. You'll experience
00:27every part of life that I think you've ever wanted to experience and it's full
00:30of music and culture and love and joy and I think that's kind of what you want out
00:35of life, you know. Oh my gosh, you know I went to the Essence Festival. I absolutely love it.
00:39It's a lot of music. It's about love and it's about family and there's a lot of
00:42religion there. A lot of people don't know that. They have a lot of gospel events
00:45that happen down there and so I love it. I love it. Essence Festival is an
00:49explosion of music and and femininity and strength and partying and like some
01:00of the best musical acts in the industry from years gone by to what's happening
01:05today to just usually doing it in one of the best, like my funnest, like the city
01:11to have the most fun, New Orleans, just doing it up and I mean it's crazy. It is the
01:15biggest black family picnic that I've ever been, it's like a family reunion but
01:23you know to a fellow man I would say that you're gonna see the most beautiful
01:28black women you've ever seen in your life. What would you tell a girlfriend that
01:33had never been to Essence Festival, what it was about? Well I would tell her first if
01:37you're going to the Essence Festival, make sure you wear comfortable shoes, go and be
01:42prepared for a great evening of music of all varieties. Stop by the lounges, go see
01:49the, to the, to the main stage, just go everywhere. Greet people, meet people,
01:55definitely network because there's a lot of people that love music like yourself
02:00that are accountants and lawyers and doctors and gynecologists and blah blah
02:04blah blah blah blah. Go meet your folks and then get in business. You don't want to
