00:00I can't believe summer's almost over. Can you? Anyway, we're here to talk about some of our favorite beauty products from this summer. And things that we think we're going to carry on into the fall. So let's get to it.
00:21You were talking about Maybelline. I was hooked on their volume. Mega Plush. Yes, the Mega Plush. It has gel. Who knew? I thought it was fibers in there because I would go to wash it off and I would see little flakes. I thought they were my lashes. I did a little research and found out that it's gel. And it pulls out every lash. You know in the summertime. Sometimes it's all you can get done. The mascara. This one I'm carrying in the fall for sure. It's a Mega Plush. Mega Plush.
00:50Volume Express. Which is great for summer as you don't want to put a whole, you know, I hate putting a whole lot of eye makeup on as I can never get it to stay on my face. So if I got, if I have a great mascara, a mascara will bring me through the day and it doesn't look naked. You know? Yeah. You don't want your eye to look naked. You have to be a little soaking. Yeah. And this one really pulled the lashes out because I had to keep my lashes. Nice. I would try it.
01:12I would try it. Speaking of making your eye makeup last, I tried Nana. This summer is their prime color. It was a primer. It also brings your color out a little bit more.
01:22Okay. On your eyes? Mm-hmm. So you've been using that? Mm-hmm. You put it on first and then put your eyeshadow on and it stays in place. Whether you're sweating or keep it in place, make it brighter.
01:32Yeah. It's sheer. It's light. Well, keeping makeup and face, what I've been doing is using the BB cream as, as the foundation.
01:44Nice. As opposed to putting a lot of foundation on, do a light touch of BB cream because it color corrects. So the Maybelline BB cream, we've been saying a lot about Maybelline, because they have some great stuff and it's affordable.
01:54But I put on the BB cream and then where I might be a little darker, I put, that's the only place of a foundation. And that's it. So it's much easier and it just, it adjusts to your skin tone.
02:05And one of the only companies that makes it in darker, a darker tone. So that's really important. Yep. So important.
02:11What about fragrance? What are you feeling? Oh, you know, I've been, this summer, I've been doing fragrance oils. A few of the brands have changed their tried and true fragrance to oils.
02:21So I feel like it's lighter. It's not so heavy. I want to smell like something, but I don't want it to douse myself. So I can, you know, just give a little, you feel real old school and glamorous, but a little bit more.
02:33And that's it. And I walk out the door and it lasts because it's an oil. So it, you know, the chemistry of my skin and it lasts. So I love the Flower Balm by Victor and Raul.
02:42It's really great. NARS makes an oil. There's a few people who makes an oil, but I really love that one.
02:49Now what I've been doing is, um, using the Penhaligon Vanity's collection. They make a bath oil.
02:56Nice. But what they told me is, this is the trick. You use the bath oil as a moisturizer. And it's scented.
03:02And that, so, and, and, and the Vanity's collection actually, um, works well with any fragrance that you wear.
03:07So it's scented. So you can wear that by itself or you can layer a fragrance on top.
03:12But I like, it gives nice moisturization and also just a little hint of a scent. So I love that.
03:18Yeah. A lot of people are doing oil. There's Bigelow. And if you can't get to an oil, I mean, if you can't get to a store to buy an oil, you know, they always sell it on the street, so.
