00:00Wow now that we are in the second season of our reality show you know I think I think how our
00:11lives has evolved is that people are becoming a lot more aware of who we are offstage and people
00:20have our fans have a greater respect for what we do on stage because when you come to the show
00:26and you know that you're a mom and you knew what you had to do before you got to the concert and
00:29you realize I had to do the same thing or when you're working hard and trying to manage life in
00:35your relationship and you realize that we're doing the same thing you know when you realize that oh
00:40everything didn't just happen easily because they're singing about God they had to work hard
00:44they had to prepare they had to strategize there's a different kind of respect and appreciation so for
00:49people to see all of the behind the scenes that happens all of the stress and breaking down and
00:54frustrated and arguing and then praying and repenting and all of that they just feel a lot closer a lot
00:59connected to us and I think it makes the music a lot more really well I will say this we are not
01:05breaking up but we are taking a break I'm going to do some solo music and Tina's going vacation and
01:14travel the world I guess we've been joined at the hip for the last 12 years and I think in order for us to
01:21both be our healthiest selves just as women in the group as well it's worth to take some time to just
01:28really think and reassess and we've been going constantly year after year baby after baby tour
01:35after tour and now season after season of the TV show it's just like together I love Mary Mary and I
01:41love my sister but I need to breathe like I love Tina and I love Erica separately let's see what that feels
01:47like for a little while and I think it's healthy I think you know some people are a little bit like
01:51why would you do that right now why right now when you need the time that's when you have to take the
01:56time yeah you know what I mean to make sure that you're in a good space I mean we're singing for Christ
02:00we're singing about God so you know we have to make sure that we are best I can't sing about God and
02:05I'm not taking time to talk to God or spend time with me right go go go go go and you never recharge then
02:11what are you really giving I'm not giving God I'm giving myself and I don't want to misguide anybody I don't want to mislead anybody
02:17which is a really crazy responsibility so I think just some time to do something different
02:22is going to be really good for us we've actually been looking at some scripts and trying to make
02:27sure the things that are coming of the right you know kinds of things that we feel like we can do
02:31and do well I'm coming from music and in doing music the way we do it you don't want to do anything
02:36subpar so we go into acting I want to be really really good at it something like pick up a microphone
02:42honey and we're acting for you you know you are such a good singer because people are really honest
02:46about how they feel they'll tell you what they like and they will definitely tell you what they
02:50don't like after your first acting good gig what do people have to say you know what she can really
02:55sing she didn't sing in this role she can really sing that would be a little bit embarrassing
