00:20us some fun and fabulous nail trends for summer. Hi, Candice. Hi. Thank you so much for joining
00:36us again today. Tell us a little bit about the nail look we'll be creating. This look
00:41CND created for the Blondes Runway Show. It's called the Glitter Ombre Fade. We're seeing
00:46a lot of glitter and sparkle on nail art. What is the trend all about? It's all about
00:53glitz and glam. So what did you use to create the look? So easy. CND's Creamy Cameo for a
00:59nice baby pink because I want the attention to be on the glitter and then just regular craft
01:05glitter. Do they come already in the small containers? You can get empty containers found at any beauty
01:11supply, craft store, or drug store. Awesome. So let's get started. Let's do it. First,
01:17polish two coats of Creamy Cameo. Take your top coat to re-wet the nail. Place a drop of clear
01:33coat on your coat on a plastic back pad. With a gel brush, moisten the tip of the brush with
01:42top coat and press it into your darkest hot pink glitter. And then press into the cuticle
01:52line. Start to fade down halfway to the middle of the nail. Next, pick up your lightest pink and start
02:12to press from the middle of the nail, fading towards the end. Be sure to press so that you're setting the
02:22glitter into the top coat. To complete the fade, I'm picking up a light pearlized glitter.
02:31When complete, you want to dry brush, clean your brush, and dry brush to bring all the glitter
02:43together and flattened. And then, of course, seal with top coat to bring it to a high shine. Now,
02:50the ombre fade, you can even do with regular polish. So you just pick your colors, and you can create
02:56any type of fade. Awesome. And you can also use different colored glitter, too. Exactly. Well,
03:01thank you so much for creating this look. It's so sparkly and glam. I love it. Great.
03:07So remember, ladies, before performing this look, you want to create a meticulous manicure. And when it
03:18comes to creating the shape, you want to have it complement your cuticle line or style preference,
03:24whether if you want it short or long. And you always want to begin your look with a good base coat
03:30and finish it with a top coat to seal in your look. You don't want to use a two-in-one. Always start with
03:37the base and finish with the top.
