00:00All I said was, there's no doubt in my mind that Drake May injured his shoulder on Sunday.
00:05And it wasn't me that injured it, it was Hafunga on the 13-yard scramble.
00:10And I was just saying, yeah, I was more worried about Drake May's shoulder than Sam Darnold's oblique.
00:18You've got two starting quarterbacks with injuries.
00:20Why? Because Sam Darnold's oblique, at that point on Monday, was already two weeks old.
00:23He's played two games, and the Super Bowl is going to be four weeks old.
00:26Meanwhile, Drake May's shoulder is an evolution, and it wasn't even admission to an injury at that point in time.
00:32So it became something to watch. That's all I was saying.
00:36Don't you feel vindicated in that he missed practice and for the first time was on the injury report, et cetera?
00:42I hope. I fully expect him to play in the Super Bowl. Still do.
00:45I want him to play well. I don't wish for injuries.
00:49But for 17 years, I had the advantage of seeing a player on the field, on the sideline, in the locker room, and the next day after an MRI.
00:59And then I usually, on Mondays, had half an hour to kill before meeting with the GM.
01:05And I would go up to the video room. Why?
01:07Because everyone in the building, in an NFL building, watches film on Monday.
01:10There are times when I ask the player, how did you get hurt?
01:12I don't know. I have to watch film.
01:14So I started watching film of the injury.
01:16They would cut it for me.
01:17There, I knew exactly what the injury was.
01:20But I could look at the film and go, okay, that's how it's happened.
