00:00To be in the Bond franchise means that I'm making shifts that should have
00:07shifted a long time ago I'm very appreciative of that opportunity and
00:22very grateful for in the future being able to not have this conversation
00:29don't have it everyone's bored by it it's not something we continually want to
00:33talk about I want it to just be a normal thing but the great thing is that we're
00:38gonna have the conversations for the future generations to not have those
00:41conversations today we are at a very special shoot for Lashana Lynch Lashana
00:49Lynch was one of our honorees for black women Hollywood the true essence of
00:53humanity lies in the sacrifice of black women when I said the true essence of
00:58humanity lies in the sacrifice of black women it means that I feel personally
01:05every space I go into whether we have a seat at the table or not our presence is
01:10there our vibrations are there and even if people like to pretend like the legs on
01:17the table the chairs by the table and everything in and around the table existed
01:22without us it didn't we for me were the first ones here but I'm always thinking
01:28of black women as the first people ever to do anything I think of them as so
01:32powerful and so mighty and so full of grace and poise and and just wonder that I
01:38had to try and encapsulate that into one sentence and that's what came up so yeah I
01:44think of them as as as the first as the Queen as the top the top card in the table
