00:00Kemi Beinock, the Metropolitan Police have said that they will now launch an investigation into Peter Manilson.
00:05Presumably you welcome that and the fact that the government has passed documents to the Met Police.
00:10I think it is right that there is an investigation, but this should not distract from the fact that the Prime Minister appointed a man
00:19who was the close friend and associate of a notorious and convicted paedophile.
00:25He knew all of this long before the investigations were required and he still did that.
00:31He has a lot of questions to answer and he should not try and distract anyone by talking about removing peerages or investigations.
00:38The Prime Minister himself should be answering questions about how this happened.
