00:00we have a lot of breaking down to do. We have a lot of empathy that we need to have with each
00:05other, but who we don't need to have empathy with, who we do not need to have empathy with.
00:12I don't know how much I can express this because we've been bred to forgive. And we think that
00:17forgiveness looks a certain way because everybody is God's children, but we don't always have to be
00:23nice about, we don't ever have to be nice about ending oppression. We don't ever have to be polite
00:31about it. That is not what we're here to do. If we continue to forgive in the way that we've been
00:38taught to forgive by our oppressors, then we're going to continue to be oppressed. We can forgive
00:45and hold accountable. We can forgive and dismantle. We can forgive and end anti-blackness. We can.
00:54And we have to. We owe it to our children. We're not being kind to our children. We're not being
01:00kind to ourselves if we do not organize to end oppression.
