00:00To How I Met Your Mother fans, you will always be the mother, and I feel like in The Penguin, you truly are mother.
00:05Has anyone told you that?
00:06Oh my god. You mean like how people are like, mother?
00:11Just like that, yeah.
00:12I mean, sure. I'll take it. You know what? I'll take it.
00:17Amazing. I mean, I loved you in the show, and I feel like we need to see more of your character.
00:22You've said you want to do it.
00:23I do.
00:24Any updates on more time on TV or in The Batman 2?
00:28No updates. No updates, but I would, I mean, you know, I love playing Sophia so much.
00:35It's been my favorite role, I think, ever, and so I would, of course, love to do more.
00:42What do you feel like was the biggest challenge about taking on the role of Sophia?
00:48Probably getting out of my own way and like getting over being really...
00:54Well, that you didn't mess up.
00:55Thank you. Thanks.
00:56I'm also really excited to see you return to the USS Callister in the Black Mirror world.
01:01Have you filmed that already?
01:02We already filmed it, yeah.
01:03We wrapped last year.
01:05What was it like stepping back into that world?
01:07It was wild. It was great. I mean, you know, we were such a tight cast, so it was really lovely to be reunited.
01:13And it was lovely to be back with Charlie and our director, Toby, who did the first one.
01:17And so it was like, it was really lovely and also felt very surreal.
01:21Now, we're celebrating both TV and movie actors today.
01:25What's a nominated film this year that you wish you were in?
01:29That I wish I were in?
01:32That you really loved?
01:34I mean...
01:35I kind of like would have loved to be in Conclave, like vaping, but I would want to be a vaping cardinal.
01:44I was going to say like a sassy nun.
01:47No, I want to be like a vaping cardinal who's like pissed about being there, which is already exists in the film.
01:52So, like, so I couldn't have...
01:55But if, like, he hadn't been available, I would have loved to have played that role.
01:59That's amazing. I love that.
02:00Yeah, it's truthful.
02:02Yeah.
02:02And coming up with the Oscars next week, who are you rooting for, for Best Picture?
02:06Oh, wow.
02:08Honestly?
02:09Wicked.
02:11I know you auditioned for Wicked.
02:13I sure did.
02:15And I don't want to talk about it anymore.
02:16I sure did audition for that, yeah.
02:18And John was so kind to me, and I, you know, I've seen that movie twice in theaters, and Cynthia is, she is on a different level.
02:29She's incredible.
02:31Yeah.
02:31And like I was saying, your performance in The Penguin is incredible.
02:34Has it changed the number of roles coming across your desk, and what do you want to take on next?
02:39You know, I'm still looking for the next thing.
02:41And it certainly has been wonderful to have been able to, like, sit down with people whose work I've always really admired, who also really liked the show.
02:51So that's been lovely.
