00:00She feels so much pride being the rider to represent the nation of Poland here on the world stage in Freeride.
00:07A historic day and Zuzana Wietig, she's got wins on the Freeride World Tour.
00:12She's coming back from knee injury and we saw her kind of returning to form in the last Freeride World Tour event.
00:18And you know she's going to want to push hard to show the world exactly what Polish Freeride is all about.
00:23Exactly. You see her waving her poles, entering in, perfect landing.
00:30Cruising through this top core. She has such strong alpine technique. It's really cool to see.
00:35Yeah, using that little bit of a slide to slow down but not really going any slower.
00:41Just controlling the speed. The judges love to see that as Zuzana Wietig.
00:45Short work of the upper section as she makes her way down to the plethora of features on this lower corner.
00:53Catching that perfectly and Zuzana Wietig in ultimate control right now.
00:57Exactly. No hesitation as she makes her way through these features and that's key for the judges.
01:02They don't want to see you stop or hesitate unless it's for a very specific reason.
01:07Otherwise, full gas right off everything.
01:10Yeah, and Zuzana Wietig now crossing over. There's lots of options over here.
01:17You can see a couple of the tracks there. Zuzana catching perfect transition.
01:21So the reception back onto the snow. The angles need to line up, Hadley, and Zuzana really scoped that well.
01:27Yeah, she did. And you see now she's in a place where no one has gone before.
01:31Fresh tracks for the rider. Really smart knowing they'd go so far back into the categories.
01:37Yeah, so lining up a big chunk of terrain. Zuzana puts the skis into the fall line.
01:43And then another perfect landing as she gets herself back into control.
01:48A big ledge lurking beneath her, opting for this diving board takeoff and holding on.
01:55Zuzana Wietig. Never a doubt.
01:59No, really. She's so good.
02:01And it was really cool to see the way that she made the venue unique to her.
02:05Again, that's really smart. It's the last category of the day.
02:08She's halfway through that category, which means that she's searching for those fresh landings.
02:12So you can see this aggressive approach, Hadley, right out of the gate, landing perfectly.
02:18I love this turn. She gets her speed under control and is able to then execute the rest of the skiing down that couloir.
02:25Yeah, it's not just about the trick, but it's how you come out of the air or the trick afterwards,
02:31and she's proving that she's got that full control.
02:34Yeah, little bit of time to line this up, but then perfect landing.
02:39As we said, Zuzana Wietig coming off a pretty significant knee injury,
02:43so she's still feeling her way back into competition mode, but she is in the finish.
02:53With a big smile on her face as the score dropping for Zuzana.
