00:00Also them not being together, you know, I think Emerald does so much of the film is spent with us not together.
00:07It's agonizing to watch Kathy in this new life presenting and seeing her in front of the mirror and having the corset time and trying to feel something.
00:15And then watching Heathcliff wait on the hills, the bigger the space between them, the kind of more you yearn for them to be close together.
00:24There's so much agony in the film outside of the touch and the touch allows that.
00:28So when they do embrace the separation is all the more agonizing, you know, I think that's the beautiful thing that Emerald does with the film.
