00:00How do you break down the barriers? How do you create a connection?
00:06Well, you just treat them like human beings and ask them questions about their likes and dislikes and their hobbies, families, the same way that you would anyone that you meet that you want to get to know.
00:24I think it's breaking down that stigma of reaching out for help and that, you know, at the end of the day, we're all human and that support is here, whether that's through our program or other services, there's always support.
00:37And people of all different ages, demographics, genders?
00:41Yeah, I don't think we would have two clients that are even similar to each other, like everyone else in completely different backgrounds.
00:53A lot of older men, you deal with Rourke?
00:56What was that, sorry?
00:57You deal with a lot of older men?
00:59Yeah, we've had a lot of people who are over the age of 60 that have accessed the service who traditionally probably wouldn't have access to our mental health services in the past, so it's really encouraging something.
01:12And Ella, how have you found the position?
01:15Yeah, it's tough but rewarding and I think it's good to give back to the community.
01:22I know that's their blend on.
01:23Yeah, this is really a great benefit to all of us.
01:24I think it's tough.
01:25I know that people in the past, they're, some of us, they're actually dispertened.
01:26I think it's better to have a lot of people and the most people on their back up.
01:27I think it's better.
01:28Yeah.
