01:33And new information on the death of beloved actress Catherine O'Hara.
01:37Did a rare medical condition lead to her death?
01:40I'm a freak.
01:41Then could she be the world's best mom?
01:44She's making sandwiches for her family at 30,000 feet.
01:49Aw, thank you, Mom.
01:50How good were the sandwiches?
01:52And from Bama Rush to the big game.
01:56Hey, everyone. It's Kylan Darnell, Inside Edition's special Super Bowl correspondent.
02:00We got our credentials.
02:02It's Super Bowl week. I'm so excited.
02:04Now, Inside Edition with Eva Pilgrim.
02:07Hello, and thanks for joining us.
02:10What happened to Savannah Guthrie's mom?
02:12It's an urgent search to find the Today Show anchor's 84-year-old mother.
02:17She's been missing since this weekend and needs medication.
02:21As Stephen Fabian reports, authorities have declared her home a crime scene.
02:25Her foul play is feared in the baffling disappearance of Savannah Guthrie's missing mom,
02:31and police say she desperately needs life-saving medication before it's too late.
02:3624 hours plus has passed, and we're told that if she doesn't get her meds, it can be fatal.
02:45Nancy Guthrie vanished from her home in Tucson, Arizona.
02:49When police went to the house, they found a chilling scene, and homicide detectives were called in.
02:54Do you believe she was kidnapped?
02:56She was removed from the scene. I can't say by force.
02:59Were there personal items of hers that were left behind?
03:02Yes, there's a lot of things there that tell us, that indicate to us,
03:06she was removed from that scene, and it was without her consent.
03:10Police released this missing person poster.
03:13Nancy Guthrie is just over 5 feet tall and weighs 150 pounds with brown hair and blue eyes.
03:20Savannah Guthrie was absent from the anchor desk at the Today Show,
03:23where her mom's mystery disappearance was the lead story.
03:26We want to get right to what is a deeply personal story for us.
03:30Savannah has flown to Tucson to be close at hand.
03:33She is here in Tucson with family.
03:36They are all together, and they are working close with us.
03:39A police press conference this morning was carried live on all the cable news networks and NBC.
03:45Savannah's colleagues are expressing sadness and hope.
03:49She's without her medication, so we are thinking of our dearest, dearest Savannah.
03:54Savannah's a friend of mine as well, and we send our love and hopes and prayers.
03:59Savannah's mom was last seen at her home around 9.45 p.m. Saturday night.
04:04The next morning, she did not attend her usual church service, and that's when churchgoers sounded the alarm to family members.
04:11In a statement, she says, I want to thank everyone for the thoughts, prayers, and messages of support.
04:16Our focus remains on the safe return of our dear mom.
04:20Nancy Guthrie has appeared on the Today Show several times.
04:23I am thrilled to welcome a very talented cook to our kitchen, one I know well, my mom, Nancy Guthrie.
04:29They visited Australia together.
04:31It has been great to do this journey with you, Mom.
04:34Love you.
04:35Just three months ago, her mom and sister, Anne, were at Savannah's side in a segment about her homecoming trip to Tucson.
04:42The best thing about Tucson is coming home, meeting you guys.
04:45Now, the whole country is hoping and praying for the safe return of Savannah Guthrie's mom.
04:52Savannah's father died from a heart attack when she was 16.
04:56Meanwhile, investigators are asking for the public's help.
04:58If you see anyone matching Nancy Guthrie's description, take a photo and alert authorities.
05:05If Cher could turn back time, she might want to rewind to before she took the stage at the Grammys.
05:11She made a big oops, accidentally reading the name of a dead artist for Record of the Year.
05:18Jim Murray was there.
05:21It shares big oops at the Grammys.
05:24The Lifetime Achievement Award, 2026.
05:27The legendary star receives the Lifetime Achievement Award.
05:30Never give up on your dream no matter what happens.
05:34Then she wanders off stage, forgetting to announce the Record of the Year.
05:38Uh, Cher, before you go, could we get you to announce the nominees?
05:45Grammy host Trevor Noah calls her back.
05:48Then comes Cher's other blunder.
05:50Oh, the Grammy goes to Luther Vandross!
05:52R&B singer Luther Vandross died in 2005.
05:56No, Kendrick Lamar!
05:57Cher corrects her mistake, announcing rapper Kendrick Lamar is the winner for his song Luther,
06:03which samples Luther Vandross.
06:05Bad Bunny.
06:06There was also this emotional moment when Bad Bunny won the coveted Album of the Year Award.
06:11The singer, who will helm the Super Bowl halftime show, sat crying before heading to the stage.
06:19Pop star Sabrina Carpenter wowed the crowd, appearing on a conveyor belt,
06:23dressed in a sexy all-white airline pilot-inspired ensemble,
06:27performing her hit song, Man Child.
06:29On the red carpet, she dazzled in a Valentino gown, featuring sheer ruffles and delicate beading.
06:40Lady Gaga dressed as a feathery caged bird for her gripping performance of Abracadabra.
06:46Lady Gaga!
06:47She went on to win Best Pop Vocal Album.
06:50Thank you so much.
06:51We are just so, so honored to be up here.
06:54Heidi, right here.
06:55Heidi Klum turned heads, sporting a daring, skin-tight latex dress that left very little to the imagination.
07:02The Grammy celebrates the best in music, but many artists use the stage here to firmly and publicly denounce ice.
07:09Bad Bunny, who won three Grammys last night, had this plea.
07:13Ice out.
07:14Billie Eilish and her brother, who won Song of the Year, wore ice-out buttons.
07:21No one is illegal on stolen land.
07:26Justin and Hailey Bieber also wore ice-out buttons, but on stage, he wore, well, his underwear.
07:33I didn't love you, baby.
07:36I spoke to Tom Hanks' wife, actress-singer Rita Wilson, who's on the board of Music Cares.
07:41Nina Simone said it, and she said it is our job as artists to write about the times that we're living in.
07:48And I think that's true.
07:49You know, we have to use our voices.
07:51Despite the tense political climate, Grammy night belonged to music, with Lauryn Hill's moving tribute to the late Roberta Flack.
07:58It was a triumphant return to the Grammy stage for Lauryn Hill after a 27-year hiatus.
08:06Trevor Noah announced that this will be his last time hosting the Grammys, and he's leaving with some controversy, thanks to a joke that got a big thumbs down from President Trump.
08:17President Trump is threatening to sue Grammys host Trevor Noah over a joke he made during last night's show about Trump and Jeffrey Epstein.
08:26That is a Grammy that every artist wants, almost as much as Trump wants Greenland, which makes sense.
08:34I mean, because Epstein's island is gone, he needs a new one to hang out with Bill Clinton, so...
08:37Trump fired back at him, calling the joke a defamatory statement.
08:42I have never been to Epstein Island, nor anywhere close.
08:45It looks like I'll be sending my lawyers to sue this poor, pathetic, talentless dope and suing him for plenty of dollars.
08:52Meanwhile, the First Lady's documentary had a solid opening weekend, surprising critics who predicted a bomb.
08:58Melania arrives with strong box office.
09:01Melania Trump documentary shucks at the box office.
09:04It soared past expectations, bringing in more than $7 million.
09:09It did best in Florida, Texas, and Arizona.
09:12The audience was 70% white women over the age of 55.
09:17These ladies in Texas all dressed in Melania's inauguration gown.
09:22Her former chief of staff, Stephanie Gershom, tells Inside Edition she's not surprised it did well.
09:27She's so private. She's an enigma. Everybody wants to know more about her.
09:30That's just how it's always been. But I'm pretty sure that people are going to come out of that movie,
09:35and they're not going to know her any better than they did when they went in.
09:40And the Kennedy family is reacting today to the president's out-of-nowhere announcement
09:43that he's closing the Kennedy Center for two years for a complete rebuilding.
09:48What the president isn't saying, though, is that this does come after the Kennedy Center has faced a flood of cancellations
09:55ever since he took over the board of trustees and added his name to the physical building.
09:59The Kennedys see the closing as an act of retribution.
10:03He can change the name, shut the doors, demolish the building, says JFK's grandson, Jack Schlossberg.
10:08But JFK is kept alive by us.
10:12The two-year closure of the Kennedy Center begins on July 4th.
10:17An Arctic blast is keeping a lot of the country in a deep freeze,
10:20and it's unusually chilly in Florida, which has led to a bizarre phenomenon.
10:26Iguanas literally freezing in place and falling from trees.
10:30Les Trent has the details.
10:33With temperatures in Florida falling, so were the iguanas.
10:37In just a couple hours, you caught over 100 iguanas.
10:40The Sunshine State has been having the coldest weather in a decade,
10:44with iguanas literally falling out of the trees.
10:47Oh, my God!
10:49The phenomenon is called cold stunned.
10:52You know that it's cold here in South Florida when it starts raining iguanas.
10:56If they're falling out of the trees, 32 degrees.
10:59As the temperature gets very cold, their body basically shuts down.
11:03They become literally paralyzed.
11:04Ron McGill of Zoo Miami says iguanas are not native to Florida.
11:08He says state officials are making unprecedented plans to deal with cold stunned iguanas.
11:15They can be taken to designated drop-off centers where they will likely be humanely euthanized.
11:21Be careful, however.
11:23Iguanas can be nasty creatures.
11:26Ah!
11:27Ah!
11:28The freeze isn't just in Florida.
11:31In Texas, a gator was frozen in ice.
11:34Here's a similar scene in Arkansas.
11:36This is one big, gigantic, prehistoric beast.
11:42There are winter woes across the USA, and here in New York City,
11:45the normal collection of garbage has been, quote,
11:48limited as the sanitation department concentrates on removing snow.
11:53Here's the result.
11:55Ed, check out this little weather girl.
11:57I finally got some snow.
12:00We got about three-ish inches.
12:03The sidewalks are impassable.
12:06Reporting from mommy and daddy's house.
12:08Too cute.
12:10Well, tributes continue to pour in for Catherine O'Hara, who died after a short illness.
12:14She was 71.
12:16Now, we're learning the Home Alone actress had a rare genetic condition
12:19that she jokingly said made her feel like a freak.
12:23But was it a factor in her death?
12:25Here's Ann Mercogliano.
12:28Beloved actress Catherine O'Hara suffered from a rare medical condition
12:32in which her organs were on the wrong side of her body.
12:36It's called dextrocardia with situs inversus.
12:39Your organs in your chest and your abdomen are switched.
12:43They're mirror images.
12:45Your heart is on your left side normally, and for her, it was on her right side.
12:49This happens in about one in 10,000 people.
12:51Catherine did not find out about her condition until she was in her 40s.
12:56The Home Alone actress said she was getting a routine chest x-ray and EKG
13:02when she was informed for the first time in her life
13:04that the organs in her chest and abdomen were positioned on opposite sides.
13:10In 2020, she talked about her condition on a podcast.
13:14That's very rare.
13:19I mean, really.
13:21I'm a freak.
13:22So, was her condition a factor in her death?
13:26All her reps would say was that the end came after a, quote, brief illness.
13:30Could this condition have had anything to do with her death?
13:33It's unlikely that this was related to her death.
13:36It doesn't really lead to many complications.
13:38Her last public appearance took place five months ago at the Emmys,
13:42and she definitely looked gaunt.
13:45And just three weeks ago, she was a no-show at the Golden Globes
13:48where she was nominated for her role as a Hollywood executive in the studio.
13:53Catherine O'Hara, the studio.
13:55She became a breakout star from the classic TV show SCTV.
14:00One of her favorite skits was a parody of Brooke Shields,
14:03and it's going viral today.
14:05Correct that rip!
14:06On social media, Brooke Shields reacted to the death.
14:11What an honor it was to be spoofed by Catherine O'Hara.
14:14What an unfathomable loss.
14:18As for a funeral, O'Hara's rep says the family is planning a private celebration of life.
14:24We'll be back with more Inside Edition after this.
14:26Next, exclusive.
14:29The hero who body slammed a crazed passenger at the airport security check-in.
14:33When did you realize you had to step in here?
14:36Then could she be the world's best mom?
14:39She's making sandwiches for her family at 30,000 feet.

16:56New series, CBS Wednesday, March 4th.
17:02He was a star athlete in school.
17:05That's what we're learning about the passenger who tackled an out-of-control suspect who ran past TSA.
17:11Stephen Fabian spoke with the hero who prevented a full-blown lockdown at the airport.
17:16New details are emerging about the takedown of a passenger who breached airport security and triggered a major alert.
17:23In this Inside Edition exclusive, we're hearing from the passenger who body slammed the suspect.
17:28I put myself on the belt, was waiting to go through the x-ray machine, and the lady very calmly and casually said, everybody freeze, breach.
17:36Mark Thomas was on his way to Chicago and was ready to go through security at Atlanta's Hartsfield-Jackson Airport.
17:42When did you realize you had to step in here?
17:45Once he pushed the older gentleman over, I knew that it was kind of one of those moments where I was like, all right, this is happening.
17:51He's going to be coming right by me.
17:52I'm already here, so I might as well try to do something.
17:55The suspect, identified as 40-year-old Leon Fabian, can be seen running through the airport in newly released surveillance tape.
18:01You see him approaching the security area.
18:03He apparently tried to slip through another checkpoint.
18:06Then you see him bum-rush security and attempt a mad dash.
18:10Now, afterwards, you're kind of sitting on him, right?
18:13Did he say anything to you?
18:14He was like, I'm okay, I'm okay, just let me up, just let me up.
18:17After Thomas subdued the suspect, airport security handcuffed him.
18:21And if it looks as if Thomas apprehended the suspect with ease, well, he once played minor league baseball and also wrestled.
18:29I was a wrestler in sixth grade, and I was really bad.
18:31Anytime I was in a match, all I would try to do is pick the person up and try to slam him.
18:35And that's essentially what I did in this situation.
18:38Now, officials say the suspect appeared to be coming down from something.
18:42He reportedly told police he'd consumed alcohol and drugs.
18:46When we come back, we'll introduce you to our special Super Bowl correspondent, counting down to the big game.
18:53I used to struggle with dandruff, but now I use head and shoulders every wash.
