00:00a lot of our reaction have ensued asking the question is nigeria becoming a one-party state
00:05we are as well asking the same question is it is this not dangerous for democracy
00:10that we you know supposedly following and what do you think this means for the 2027 general
00:19election and for peter the obedience movement also did made it clear that they are supporting
00:26peter as president not as vice president now we have a lot of questions again to ask
00:33there is no automatic ticket waiting in the camp of the adc for peter of course it's going to have
00:38to do the primaries with notable uh contestant we've got the former vice president atikwa
00:44bubaka we've got a former kaduna uh governor herrify also in contention we've got a lot of them as well
00:51as our former governor of delta state i wrote me amici all of them are now in the ranks of the
00:56adc and every one of them at some point you know in the past i've shown interest in also contesting
01:02in 2027 meanwhile you have to keep in mind that we have only one ticket from the adc now as things
01:09stands for pdp uh pdp looks more like a sinking ship when you look of things we've got a lot of
01:16defections right from you know last year even prior before last year till now currently we have 28 states
01:24there are apc states you want to say that out of 36 it's more like what is the future you know
01:31for opposition parties here in nigeria and uh i will be asking these questions from our viewers at
01:38home do you think that the defection of peter b to the adc gives us a credible opposition against the
01:47ruling party apc and do you think that peter b can successfully you know knew the ticket in the
01:55primaries for the adc so many things to discuss about on the political matters of nigeria but of
02:00course it's still in the early stages just barely a year to go and this year we'll be having two
02:04governorship election one of course in in ocean state and the other one in a kitty state two governorship
02:11elections to look out for uh you know in the year 2026 thank you for being part of our world here that
02:16will be the size of our package today on guardian talks i wish we could you know get the discussion
02:21on going but of course time is not always a friend on the show and until next time where we'll come
02:27again with topical discussions to talk about most importantly in the political space i am olu kaiode
02:35and uh it's been a pleasure to be your host today until next time i come your way again
02:40a video goodbye and i'll see you next time
