The Johor Baru–Singapore RTS Link will introduce 100 immigration e-gates at the Bukit Chagar ICQ Complex, enabling passengers to clear both Malaysian and Singapore immigration in one stop.

Designed to reduce congestion and improve reliability, the facility will also include security screening lanes, baggage scanners and express lanes for travellers without luggage.

00:37and ensure smoother passenger flow, especially during peak hours. The Bukit Chargar ICQ complex
00:44will also be equipped with 10 security screening lanes for body checks, 18 baggage scanners and
00:49dedicated lanes for passengers without luggage, aimed at minimizing bottlenecks. Mohamed Zarif said
00:55the e-gates would reduce reliance on manual checks and offer commuters a more reliable and predictable
01:01border crossing experience, enabling better travel planning. He added that the RTS link is expected
01:07to serve approximately 40,000 passengers daily when operations begin, with ridership projected to rise
01:14to around 140,000 passengers a day, potentially accounting for 30-40% of causeway traffic in the long term.
