Face à la réalité des changements climatiques et environnementaux, et surtout face aux conséquences sur la vie humaine de ces changements, une jeune femme, Xochitl, et son amie, Theo, décident de ne pas rester inactives. Conscientes qu'elles s'engagent sur la voie de la radicalité, elles rassemblent autour d'elles d'autres militants et décident d'agir concrètement. Les jeunes gens se transforment alors en éco-terroristes, tenants d'actions parfois symboliques, parfois violentes, pour tenter d'enrayer le déséquilibre global. L'un de leurs objectifs est de saboter un pipeline dans l'ouest du Texas...
