00:00Ghost towns, Knicks must find a way to make All-Star Cat reappear.
00:05Ah boy, here we go again, Karl-Anthony Towns is now the new Anthony Volpi-
00:10of New York City. Every foul, every error, every misplay, bad shot and strike.
00:15Out is going to be called out by the fan base and the media because they're going to try and run this.
00:20Man out of town, but luckily for Anthony Volpi, Aaron Boone publicly go-
00:25goes to bat for his player. Mike Brown isn't doing that and I feel like where there's smoke there-
00:30fire. The first shot fired in what should have been flagged as-
00:35One of the reasons I thought this relationship wasn't going to work was Cat and the priest-
00:40season being vocal about him not even knowing his role within the same team.
00:45But with the new coach-
00:47Honestly, I don't know. I don't know.
00:50But we're figuring it out. I said, but honestly, I just don't know.
00:55We're a couple of weeks away from the trade deadline and we-
01:00still don't know because they still haven't figured it out. But rightfully so, we all doubt-
01:05played that because they hadn't played a real basketball game yet. But looking back-
01:10I think that was Cat's way of trying to prepare us for a dip in his production and-
01:15his way of saying, I'm not the player that this coach wants for his system and I ain't gonna conform.
01:20I like what I did under tips and instead of adapting or I guess tweaking-
01:25his system to the player skill set, Mike Brown has drawn his line in the sand.
01:30and has shown both Cat and Knicks Nation that he's here to win with his system.
01:35and he'll win games without the player.
01:37Actions speak louder than words. You guys know-
01:40you guys know that. Calling him out multiple times in post-game pressers. That's one thing. But he-
01:45he's gone with catless lineups. Sometimes forced because he's in foul trouble.
01:50But he's put out catless lineups on the court where the Knicks defense has been visibly-
01:55better. The energy and the effort is championship-like and they've closed out to win.
02:00some games. The statement is loud and it's clear. I can win without the number two-
02:05I inherit it. But the problem with that, he ain't going nowhere. For more on the cat-
02:10drama, head on over to newyorkpost.com slash sports.
02:15I'll see you next time.
