00:04abrac-
00:05Back in July, KTLA sent a-
00:10to investigate reports that Jake and his YouTuber housemates were making a nuisance of themselves.
00:14Lighting fires in a drained swimming pool, and drawing crowds of fans outside their 18th
00:19thousand-dollar-per-month rented home.
00:21The YouTube star who has over 9 million subscribers-
00:24and his Team 10 posse responded by ambushing the reporter with a t-shirt cannon, climbing
00:29on the roof of the KTLA van and mocking the reporter's shoes, a callback to a popular
00:342015 meme.
00:35What are those?

00:39The 20-year-old social media star told The Hollywood Reporter Seth Abramovich of the viral
00:42news video,
00:43Looking back, I see why everyone was like,
00:45Yo, this kid sucks.
00:46Cause I look super immature.
00:48On his mindset before approaching the reporter, he said,
00:51Literally, my goal was to act like an-
00:53idiot.
00:54That person that you see on camera is not who I am on a day-to-day basis.
00:57I can turn that mo-
00:58on as an entertainer.
00:59But yeah, the press and people took it the wrong way.
01:02I was just having fun.
01:03The other families on the block, mostly established pros working in the entertainment industry,
01:08are currently mulling a class-action lawsuit against the internet star.
01:12Jake said in his defense,
01:13But we're not even that loud.
01:14Like, yes, we had a furniture fire get out of control in our backyard one time.
01:18But that didn't harm a single person.
01:20While Jake admits the fan situation outside his home ha-
01:23has gotten out of control.
01:24He says he has asked fans to stay away.
01:26They are yelling at the neighbors.
01:28They're in the street.
01:29They're chanting my name and taking up parking.
01:31I have made multiple videos telling-
01:33Jake also revealed that he is currently-
01:38looking for a new home.
01:39As for his dismissal from Bizaardvark, Jake, a kid from Ohio,
01:43who came up on the app Vine, transitioned from social media star to actor with his role on the Disney show.
01:48But he kept creating online content that he says started becoming edgier.
01:52Jake began-
01:53When receiving angry emails from the talent relations division at Disney, he said,
01:57I don't know if-
01:58I don't know if they were having someone scan my videos full-time, but I'm guessing they were.
02:01There kept on being moments like that-
02:03The KTLA news segment was the final straw. Jake was dismissed from the show.
02:08He revealed,
02:09They were like,
02:10Okay, we went to expedite this process of weaning you off the-
02:13And I was like,
02:14Yeah, that's fine.
02:15But it's going to look like you guys fired me.
02:17And they were-
02:18We were like,
02:19We can say that we mutually parted ways and blah, blah, blah.
02:21And that's the reality of the story.
