00:00Come with me as I go all out with comfort food at this incredible Long Island gastropub.
00:05Avenue Social in Belmore, New York. Get ready because I am hungry. I started with their almond
00:10rusted, hot honey drizzled, everything seasoned, fried goat cheese balls, and I knew I came to the
00:15right place. I'm the kind of guy who never says no to bacon and they're thick.
00:20The crispy pork belly comes with a maple glaze, torched rosemary, and a house-made honey mustard.
00:25Sweet, smoked, so good. Chef said I had to devour this appetizer too.
00:30Their house-seasoned steak tidbits served inside of a gorgonzola fondue.
00:35With their herbed olive oil and garlic bread. If you're a fan of gorgonzola,
00:40order these. So good. Up next, their slow-roasted coffee-rubbed prime rib with
00:45horseradish creme fresh potato topped with caviar, their herbed olive oil, and lots of gravy.
00:50Available Sundays only right now and definitely worth the trip.
00:54Come here.
00:55And get this. Speaking of prime rib, they're also serving up this prime rib dip.
00:59Thinly shaved.
01:00Prime rib packed with melted provolone, caramelized onions, all on toasted garlic bread with plenty of
01:05other au jus to dip. Yes, please.
01:09That prime rib.
01:10is just perfect.
01:11Onto their customer favorite lobster mac and cheese with a four-cheese
01:15Bechamel, their cavatappi pasta, served in a piping hot cast iron with more cheese.
01:20and Italian breadcrumbs, beautifully baked, and finished with that herb olive oil.
01:25Do not skip this one while you're here.
01:27Packed with lobster.
01:28Then they sear some seasoned
01:30lamb chops and bake them to look like this.
01:32Swipe on some Dijon mustard and plenty of
01:35pistachios. Then they serve them on top of a house-made tzatziki, lemon potatoes, charred brocolino,
01:40and fire-roasted tomatoes, finished with lemon oil and that herb olive oil.
01:44Everything about
01:45about this dish was just flawless.
01:48The pistachio crust on there mixed with
01:50that tzatziki, incredible.
01:51They're also serving up these slow-cooked beer braised short ribs.
01:55which cook down for hours and get served with white cheddar whipped potatoes, roasted mushrooms,
02:00dry-colored baby carrots, and plenty of their au jus.
02:02Absolutely delicious.
02:04Just melting.
02:05And I couldn't leave without devouring their croque madame, packed with creamy bechamel,
02:10beautifully toasted, topped with an egg, finished with herbs.
02:13Life doesn't get much better than this.
02:15Who's hungry?
