00:00Come with me as I go all out with comfort food at this incredible Long Island gastropub, Avenue Social in Bellemore, New York.
00:06Get ready because I am hungry.
00:08I started with their almond crusted, hot honey drizzled, everything seasoned fried goat cheese balls, and I knew I came to the right place.
00:16I'm the kind of guy who never says no to bacon, and their thick, crispy pork belly comes with a maple glazed, torched rosemary, and a house-made honey mustard.
00:25Sweet, smoked, so good.
00:27Chef said I had to devour this appetizer too.
00:30They're house-seasoned steak tidbits, served inside of a gorgonzola fondue, with their herbed olive oil, and garlic bread.

00:41Up next, their slow-roasted, coffee-rubbed prime rib, with a horseradish creme fraiche potato topped with caviar, their herbed olive oil, and lots of gravy.

01:11Onto their customer favorite lobster mac and cheese with a four-cheese bechamel, their cavatappi pasta, served in a piping hot cast iron with more cheese and Italian breadcrumbs, beautifully baked, and finished with that herb olive oil.

01:28Then they sear some seasoned lamb chops and bake them to look like this, swipe on some Dijon mustard and plenty of pistachios.
01:35Then they serve them on top of a house-made tzatziki, lemon potatoes, charred broccolini, and fire-roasted tomatoes, finished with lemon oil and that herb olive oil.
01:44Everything about this dish was just flawless.
01:47The pistachio crust on there mixed with that tzatziki, incredible.
01:51They're also serving up these slow-cooked beer braised short ribs, which cook down for hours and get served with white cheddar whipped potatoes, roasted mushrooms, tricolor baby carrots, and plenty of their au jus.
02:02Absolutely delicious.
02:04Just melt in your mouth.
02:05And I couldn't leave without devouring their croque madame, packed with creamy bechamel, beautifully toasted, topped with an egg, finished with herbs.
