00:00A lot gets said about high compression and low compression golf balls, but what is the difference?
00:05Let's use this bad boy, put them to the test and find out.
00:10I'll be right back.
00:15You
00:20.
00:25I'll see you next time.
00:30So as you can see, we put the 2025 Titleist Pro V1 X.
00:35Up against the 2026 Trixon AD333, so we've got a high compression and low compression.
00:40And the data was quite interesting.
00:43We saw that with the wedges.
00:45As the AD333 actually carried a bit further, we got a touch more low.
00:50Launch out of it, but a drop of spin, hence why we got that carrier slightly more balls.
00:55But moving on to the 7-iron, the data was almost identical.
00:58We were about 400 RPM.
01:00Higher with the Titleist Pro V1 X over the AD333.
01:04But apart from...
01:05We found that the peak height and the carry differences were negligible.
01:08When it came to the driver, that's where I really...
01:10We didn't really notice the difference.
01:11We saw about a 3mph difference in ball speed and that result...
01:15It resulted in about 10 yards more carry with the Titleist Pro V1 X.
01:19Now as you...
01:20As you can see using the Rimit compression device here, we were about 35 compression data points different.
01:25We saw the difference between the AD333 and the Pro V1 X.
01:28I swing the driver at around 115mph...
01:30And obviously not everyone does, but I think that shows the importance of going out, testing golf balls and...
01:35And finding a ball that has the right compression for your golf game.
