00:00Security guarantees. From what?
00:05Now, NATO used to have Article 5 security guarantees.
00:10They are worth very little now, with NATO falling apart and very much
00:15at odds with each other. Will there be something less?
00:20Article 5 guarantees? Well, something less than that doesn't really matter.
00:25The more important question is, security against what?
00:30Now, there is no evidence that Russia decided to
00:35acquire Ukraine before the coup in Kyiv in 2000.
00:40In 2014, even then, and even up till today, there are
00:45limited Russian design. Now, President Biden can say, you think?
00:50In his last State of the Union address, anybody in this room think that Russia
00:55will stop in Ukraine and not go out to Poland and the Baltics, huh?
01:00Well, that's idiotic. The Russians already stopped!
01:05In Ukraine, that's what I started with. April, April 2021.
01:10They stopped! There was an agreement.
01:13Arachamia initials.
01:15They killed it.
01:16And you know what happened after that.
01:18So, the notion that the Russians won't
01:20. . . .
01:20will they stop in Ukraine? Of course they will. They already did.
01:23Will they go out to Poland?
01:25That's foolish.
01:26Would they go out to the Baltic States?
01:28I've been there, done that.
01:29I don't . . .
01:30I don't see any reason why the Russians would want to do that.
01:33And there is not a scintilla.
01:35So, long story short, no Ukraine and . . .
01:40NATO? No real reason for security guarantees.
01:45The Russians will be satisfied.
01:47And there will be a new realization that they are going to . . .
01:50protect their own interests in the event of NATO infringement.
01:55or infringement by anybody on their core interests.
