00:00I've been standing here for a couple hours and I get to ask people like, you know, who do you want to meet?
00:05Who's your favorite?
00:05What's the, you know, what's the vibe?
00:07And I can't tell you it's like universally adolescent.
00:10And so you must have been, and I know that this must have been something that you're feeling these last.
00:15Couple of months.
00:15What's been the biggest surprise for a person you've heard from, a DM, an email?
00:20A voice note.
00:22And, well, Steve.
00:25He even has shared some messages that he got from one.
00:30Wonderful people, like Al Pacino.
00:33Daniel Day-Lewis.
00:35Gary Oldman.
00:36Just people who, you know, who we respect hugely and we admire.
00:40And a part of the reason why we're actors today.
00:43But if I'm really honest with you.
00:45You know, that's wonderful.
00:46But so is someone coming up to us in the supermarket.
00:48Yeah.
00:49And telling us that.
00:50They've had a creative conversation with their children.
00:52Which overall, if I'm honest with you, that was our overall objective.
00:55Do you know what I mean?
00:56So for it to have the impact with the regular person on the street.
01:00To us is huge, really.
01:01I don't even know how you take that in.
01:04Because...
01:05I mean, A, children have lived through a pandemic.
01:08Children are dealing with social media.
01:10We're all dealing with cultural violence in every country.
01:15So tell me, how do you even attempt to process that?
01:17Especially knowing the time we're living through right now.
01:20That this show speaks to this moment in a really dramatic but necessary way.
01:25I think what we try to do from the very beginning, myself and Jack, is we...
01:29When we...
01:30When we created it and when we wrote it, we didn't want to be pointing a finger at anyone
01:33specifically.
01:35So we wanted to say, look, these things happen in our world.
01:37Let's not hide away from them.
01:38But...
01:40Instead of saying, who's responsible, why don't we look at it from a point of view where maybe
01:43we are all...
01:45We're accountable.
01:46And in that respect, I mean, you know, parents, the school system, the education...
01:50system, society, the government, and maybe have a look at it as a collective and...
01:55And let's try and work this thing out together.
01:57And have conversations.
02:00Yeah.
02:01It opens up such important conversations.
02:03Yeah.
02:05Guys, you both have been doing such brilliant work for a really long time, but I don't even
02:08know how you try to follow...
02:10this up.
02:11How...
02:12So I'm just going to ask you, how do you follow this up and what's next?
02:15I don't know if you follow things up like this.
02:17Look, I'm a great believer in the power of now and being in the moment.
02:20So it's followed up by us.
02:22We came on a bus today.
02:24Do you know what I mean?
02:25I asked...
02:26I asked if we could come on a bus, so there was like 35, 40 of us on...
02:30And that's how this journey's been for us.
02:32I've known this woman since we were kids.
02:34My mum...
02:35My mum and her mum were best mates.
02:36And I always knew what a talent she was, but she hadn't had that opportunity.
02:40So I made sure that she had that opportunity and she absolutely smashed it.
02:44Do you know what I mean?
02:45Yeah.
02:46We've known each other since we were babies.
02:48Yeah.
02:50What are you thinking about the adolescence bus?
02:51Well, we had a right laugh-ons in the beginning and then we got a bit bored.
02:55As we were waiting in line.
02:56But then we just started pretending like we were on a coach trip to Butlins.
03:00Or something like that.
03:01Which was fun.
03:02Yeah.
03:03It was fun.
03:04An honour.
03:05It was great fun.
03:06Thank you very much.
03:05Thank you very much.
03:09That was cool.
03:10Are we going to become a winner?
03:13Yeah.
03:14You know, that far wouldn't be just a loser.
03:15There was a goal we would make a winner.
03:17But then eventually he needed to start to do it.
03:19So what?
03:19Well, you know what do you think about when you areвоГ-y?
03:22And it's going to be the winner.
03:26Out сюŠ“Š°.
03:28Take me to the winner.
03:31Here is our winner.
03:32Right there is the winner.
