00:00In Sarasota, Florida, an unlikely pair works tirelessly to bring you handmade jewelry with a touch of wild friendship.
00:0861-year-old Todd Allen was brought an injured squirrel last year after he was found in the road,
00:13and after nursing it back to health and naming him Charlie, the squirrel began helping Todd around his workshop.
00:19He was interested in whatever I was holding or working on, Todd told SW&S.
00:24Pens, jewelry tools, pieces of jewelry, and he was especially interested in my hands.
00:30We set up a tree, swings, and other squirrel-appropriate fun items like coconut shells in the workshop for him.
00:36He enjoys jumping around, exploring, and playing in the workshop.
00:40I didn't raise Charlie to be a pet.
00:44I raised Charlie to save his life.
00:47He was an injured, abandoned, small squirrel.
00:51He got big, and in January we released him back to the wild.
00:57And he was gone for like two days.
01:00But then he came back, and I've been seeing Charlie almost every day.
01:05He comes up and still plays with me.
01:08To no one's surprise, the internet is absolutely loving this friendship.
01:13Fans of Charlie often come to visit the pair at the store to ask questions and take pictures.
01:18One fan even sent presents in the form of nuts and a squirrel bed.
01:22Am I crazy, or is this not the next biggest Disney movie idea?
01:27Who wouldn't go see this?
01:29No one.
01:29That's who.
