00:00During the year, more important is our day-to-day life, photography.
00:05Not only is a documentary, but also is a part of the show,
00:08and a part of the show.
00:11Today, we have a few people who are in the world of photography.
00:16We are Miss Jem Ramos and Miss Yumi Dingding.
00:20Good morning, and welcome to Rise and Shine, Filipinas.
00:24Good morning.
00:26Good morning. We have PhotoWorld Asia 2026.
00:30Tell us more about this event.
00:31Yeah, so first of all, thank you for having us here.
00:35Every year, we go here to really support the show,
00:38and thank you for also supporting our event.
00:41So the Federation of Philippine Photographers Foundation, or FPPF,
00:46is always organizing what we call the PhotoWorld Asia 2026.
00:51So this is actually the 39th edition, or 39th event of PhotoWorld Asia.
00:59So next year is our 40th.
01:02So this is like a preparation already for our big event on the 40th.
01:07But this year, it will be the biggest and longest-running photo-video convention and trade fair.
01:17So basically, we have two types.
01:20So one is somewhere in Makati, wherein we have all of these participating brands
01:27connected to photography, videography, and content creation.
01:31We have podcasting.
01:32We have grand raffle.
01:34We have photo contests, photo shoots, and free workshops.
01:38And then another po is a convention, wherein we invited international and local photographers and videographers.
01:48Actually, Ms. Yumi here is one of our speakers as a photojournalist.
01:53Oh, wow.
01:55So tell us about a little teaser, dun sa iyong magiging talk, ipag-uusapan dito.
02:00Hello, good morning everyone.
02:01My name is Yumi Dingding.
02:03I will be discussing my topic, which is framing power, because I am covering the president.
02:22How is it working in the beat?
02:24Mahirap po siya kasi masyado pong hectic yung schedule and you have to take note of the protocol sa security
02:33at saka yung mga proper things that are going inside the Malacanang.
03:12Pwede nga, actually, a mobile phone.
03:14Ayan, so anyone who is interested in taking photos, taking videos, even doing podcasts, for example, or other production, pwede pumunta.
03:23Actually, meron kaming VIP or special guest doon.
03:26Okay.
03:27Si Miss Regine Tolentino.
03:29Wow, okay.
03:30May show siya doon, may appearance siya doon and will support FPPF and the event.
03:35Enthusiast din ba siya pagdating sa photography?
03:37Yes, so she is, aside from being a dancer diva, she is also a designer and a creative like ourselves.
03:46So yan po, she'll be there.
03:48So kailan po gaganapin itong Photo World Asia 2026?
03:51At kailangan ba mag-register or pwedeng walk-in?
03:54Yes, so if they want to attend the conference, they have to register and pay a certain amount.
04:01So that will be the regular rate of 5,000 pesos, but if they are a student or a senior citizen or have an ID for PWD, they can avail the discounted rate of minus 1,000 pesos.
04:16Now for the trade fair, that's purely free.
04:20So they can just go there, drop by during the weekends or when they're available and witness all the exciting activities they can find there.
04:41Just try and then eventually you will learn from, don't be afraid to fail kasi progress makes, di ba?
04:53Parang if you try, saka may malalaman kung ano yung mga dapat upang paguhin.
04:59And then just show up during events, observe the other practicing journalists kung paano sila they act on field.
05:07And then kapag may mga opening na sa schools nyo na mga organization you can join, same as the federation, di ba?
05:15So we're open to matures and professionals alike.
05:20How long have you been a photojournalist?
05:23Mga ano na, mga 10 years na po.
05:2510 years na, almost a decade already.
05:48We even have fine art photography where it's the last day of the conference on February 1, Sunday.
05:56We will go to a studio in Gloretta and then it's a shoot with the masters.
06:02So yun yung isa, fine art photographer na si Miss Abby Miguel and then ka-tie-up niya yung international photographer si Hanson Fong from USA.
06:49And even yung mga equipment, di ba?
06:56So makikita rin nila dito yung iba't ibang mga cameras that they can purchase right sa trade fair ninyo.
07:01Yes, tama po kayo dyan.
07:03Actually, yung theme namin ngayon, trends, stories, and technology.
07:07So syempre, meron about the trending topics, katulad ng artificial intelligence, meron gano'ng topic in photography.
07:38Meron nga, for example, yung how to create, yung may mga cameras na magpiprint, parang Polaroid or Instax, lalabas, ganyan.
08:22Well, please invite our RSP Barkada sa Gaganaping Photo World Asia 2026.
