00:20I'm concerned that I'm going to burn him on a one and done and I didn't use him or I should have used him last week or the week prior.
00:28So I'm a little worried about that.
00:30I feel like he's gonna be a popular one and done pick here coming up just with how hot he's how hot he's been.
00:35And arguably, it's probably the best start to the season as far as the guys that have played twice.

00:42He's playing obviously confident golf and to just just to see the progression.
00:48You know, I think finishing top 50 probably gave him, you know, just a little bit of that freedom to not feel like he has to chase, you know, being in the Masters to start the year.

01:19A couple other guys in the field that I want to talk about worth noting.
01:24How about Andrew Putnam as a guy who you mentioned this off the top of the show?
01:28He was a signature of it as recently as 2024.
01:31He finished 85th in the FedEx Cup fall in 2024 and then last year 114.
01:36So he's in that conditional status group beyond 100.
01:39Went to Q school to hope to improve his status to a full card, finished 79th, missed out on
01:46that and then finished his second place this week, tied for second with a number of other
01:49guys.
01:50He was already in the farmers this upcoming week via that 111 to 125 ball category.
01:56But still, I think as we continue to track what's happening for the guys that were in
02:02the 101 to 125 category, the starts they're getting.
02:06This is a huge one, right?
02:07Because, I mean, it's a lot easier said than done, but this is the game plan, right?
02:10If you're a conditional status guy, you get early starts, you capitalize on those.
02:14That's how you go about earning your full card back.
02:17And the A on swing five, too.
02:19I mean, he's going to be at the top of those standings and, you know, is not going to maybe
02:25be in those first two signature rents.
02:27But like this is a guy that was when you're going to Q school, that's that's obviously like
02:31a look in the mirror of I don't know what's quite next.
02:33So approaching the season, knowing that that whole he'll get into, you know, let's
02:38say 15 events, but you still don't know that that that's tough as a player when you have
02:44that doubt of how many events you're going to get and will it be enough to just keep
02:47my conditional status for the following year?
02:49Am I going to be back to the corn fairy tour?
02:51Would I need to play any corn fairy tour this year on my off weeks?
02:54So now finishing in that second place, first off, you get all the FedEx cup points.
02:59But also, I mean, people forget this.
03:03I mean, he had a putt for 59 on the same day that Blades Brown did, too.
03:08He shot 72 in his first round.
03:11He probably was scrolling on his on his phone, looking for flights, figuring out how he's
03:14going to get home.
03:15And then he goes out and shoots twelve under par the next day and does it.
03:18He just keeps it going and really impressive stuff to, you know, when it's back up, really
03:24his back is against the wall.
03:25And that's that's one of the storylines that I really enjoyed following this week, along
03:29with world number one.
03:31You know, can you imagine if Putnam would have found a way to be Scotty today with with
03:35everything to lose and everything to play for all in one?
