00:01Hello, I'm in Upper Weald, where the villagers are very angry about potholes on the Weald to Medstead Road.
00:07I'll let them explain.
00:09If you come to Upper Weald at the moment and take the back route through from Medstead through to Upper Weald going to Basingstoke,
00:16you might think that you've bumped into a bit of the Ukrainian war by mistake.
00:21That's because the road that links all those is now the mess of horrible potholes.
00:28It's been really busy.
00:30It was really long past December and there were about a hundred guests there.
00:35And we had ten cars that had their wheels or tyres broken by potholes on the road here.
00:43And we were pretty busy keeping the AA.
00:46But we see how we can help these people.
00:49And it's a disgraceful place.
00:51It's so good.
00:52There's a lot of traffic curtains on the side saying watch out for the potholes.
01:07So the roads are very busy.
01:09And we're now going to be very slow moving road.
01:12And people cautiously will loop between all these holes and some that are really quite deep.
01:18Would anyone else like to add anything to this?
01:22I think Philip, you'll just laugh at some stuff.
01:25I did it for a living.
01:27So anyway, that's the situation.
01:32We have a lot of potholes in Weald and we'd like to get them sorted.
01:36Peace.
01:37Bye.
01:38Bye.
