00:00Hello and welcome to the Traitors Uncloaked Grand Finale.
00:07I'm Ed Gamble and I'm here at the BBC Radio Theatre with an amazing audience made up of Traitors and Faithful.
00:13So, what have we got coming up in this final episode?
00:20Claudia Winkleman can finally spill all on this incredible series of the Traitors.
00:24Chest of Chance victim James and finalist Jade reflect on going to battle at the round table,
00:29The Ceremonial Dagger and Surviving Suspicion.
00:32Finalists Faraz and Jack talk us through that nail-biting endgame.
00:35And our historic winners Rachel and Stephen will be joining us for their first ever interviews.
00:40Make sure you're sitting comfortably because this is the Traitors Uncloaked Grand Finale.
00:51We'll be bringing on the players shortly but before that I'm thrilled to once again introduce the truly incredible Claudia Winkleman!
00:59Welcome.
01:02Thank you so much for having me.
01:03Welcome Claudia.
01:04I just love seeing everybody look.
01:06No.
01:07Look how smart they look.
01:08Look how gorgeous.
01:09Very gorgeous.
01:10All alive crucially.
01:11They're all alive.
01:12Yes.
01:13Vital.
01:14Very nice.
01:15Thank you for joining us again on Uncloaked Claudia.
01:16An amazing final episode.
01:18What was it like watching it all back?
01:20Emotional because I was watching with the entire cast and I believe that none of you knew the outcome.
01:29So it was really thrilling then everyone standing up at the end.
01:33It's emotional.
01:34I mean you can see when I do it I get I'm a bit too in.
01:37You are invested.
01:38I cried before Rachel and Stephen.
01:43It was weird.
01:44A lot of tears at the end there.
01:46Is that very happy to see them win but also it's that sort of tension that's been built up across the whole game?
01:51Absolutely.
01:52And you really didn't know which way it was going to go.
01:56I mean just listening to Stephen breathing at that end game he was like I was like oh my goodness.
02:02And so just the relief and they were so happy and I found their end and their love for each other incredibly moving.
02:11Why do you think they were able to make it to the end together?
02:14What do you think it was that was special about them?
02:16I think that I mean the entire cast are not I'm not just saying this because you're sitting opposite me were utterly magnificent.
02:25And what I loved about Rachel and Stephen from the very beginning you can almost watch it back knowing what you know now they just looked after each other without being obvious without going no no no they're fine.
02:37If something came into play she was like all right I'm just going to do this to look after him and he would do the same for her and they made that alliance.
02:44And we've never seen that before lots of people make alliances and they last you know an episode five minutes.
02:50But they decided and not Romeo and Juliet because that ended badly but Bonnie and Clyde I don't know but they they were they were lovers in the turret and they they stuck together.
03:05Claudia I think I think they edited a lot of that out actually.
03:10You know what I mean.
03:11I know what you mean.
03:12You know it was it was they were totally faithful to each other.
03:16And of course we have to talk about the big twist for this series the secret traitor.
03:20Yes.
03:21Why did you think Fiona would fit that role particularly?
03:23I mean how can we not?
03:25Look at her.
03:26Look at her.
03:27Well I mean Fiona was so convincing about how people treat women of a certain age and she was so twinkly.
03:36I just wanted to put her in my pocket.
03:39I absolutely loved her.
03:40So yeah we had to give her the red cloak.
03:42So of course we had a lot of amazing faithfuls this series.
03:44Amazing.
03:45One in particular was Jessie who was on to Stephen and would not let go of the Stephen theory.
03:52How did it feel at those round tables when Jessie was going after Stephen?
03:55Well it's extraordinary.
03:57My not my favourite but always I love a Maddie.
04:00I love a Jazz.
04:01I love a Jessie who knew I knew really early and there was a brilliant moment when everybody's talking
04:08and Jessie goes off in I think into the dining room going listen to them wanging on nobody's listening to me.
04:16Not quite like that you use better words.
04:18Yeah.
04:19But it was extraordinary.
04:21She laid it out the library five she just laid it was all there and everybody went aww.
04:26And they love you and they did love you and you were they adored you and they would go oh thank you Jessie.
04:34No I think it's probably somebody else.
04:36And I was like she's got it.
04:38You are this series detective I think.
04:41Am I?
04:42Yeah I think so.
04:45Apologies Amanda.
04:47I'm the new detective.
04:48Oh no yeah well you're one of the only people who's not actually a police person.
04:51Yes.
04:52Yes.
04:53No.
04:54We've been doing because obviously we've had Jazz of the Christie in the past.
04:57Jazz of the Christie.
04:58So we've been trying to think of one for you.
04:59What can my name be?
05:00Jessica Fletcher.
05:01Jessica Fletcher.
05:02Oh okay.
05:03We're happy with that.
05:04Yeah.
05:05Woo.
05:06Love that.
05:07Harriet also extraordinary.
05:08Yeah.
05:09I mean unbelievable.
05:10Yeah I mean yeah.
05:11Yeah there's been there's been people vying for that for that title.
05:14I mean a huge amount of drama with Harriet in the talk to the traitors.
05:17It was the greatest I think it was my favorite moment ever.
05:21And I am in the castle and I'm lucky enough that I have a monitor which I don't leave.
05:27I just like eating everything just staring at it.
05:30And you were talking to the traitors and I had to do something early the next morning and it was quite late as you know.
05:36And they said Claudia you've got to go home and I was like do not even say that to me.
05:40And when you used the word compunction oh it was almost erotic Harriet.
05:47And just the fact that you knew you knew with Hugo as well you were so brilliant and then that breakfast yeah you were magnificent.
05:57Well as always Claudia it's been an absolute delight watching you on the show and we know you don't like this bit.
06:06I can't bear it.
06:07But it's the unclosed finale so we have to have a look at your best bit.
06:16Are they on their way?
06:18Good.
06:19Keep an eye on them.
06:20One thousand pounds added to the pot and Sam might die.
06:29Harsh but true.
06:31Sorry.
06:33Don't mind my friends.
06:34They don't bite.
06:36If they're fed.
06:38No thank you.
06:39No thank you.
06:40I mean we've all had childcare days right now.
06:43Stop the murder.
06:45They're like a police officer.
06:46I know friendships have been formed.
06:51But please remember a friend might be lying to you.
06:55A friend might be planning to murder you.
07:00Get dry.
07:01For goodness sake have a biscuit.
07:03Just when they think they know how to play.
07:07Bring it to me!
07:10Oh God.
07:11Sorry.
07:12Faithful, what are you thinking?
07:16I am genuinely speechless.
07:19Oh my God!
07:21Woo!
07:26Ha ha!
07:28I'm going to go and chop some cheese with it.
07:30We'll be talking to our endgame players very soon, but I'm thrilled to now welcome to the stage James and finalist James!
07:43Yay!
07:45Welcome.
07:47Welcome to Uncloaked.
07:48Both of you are very excited to have you here with us.
07:51But James, you were particularly forthright in your suspicions throughout.
07:54So let's have a look at the moment when you and Roxy finally found out who the traitors were.
07:58Oh, you!
08:03Oh, my word!
08:04Hello!
08:06Lovely to see you.
08:08Oh, good now.
08:12I think I might be in for a little bit of a shock, but I have to ask, what are you James?
08:18So you're assuming I'm...
08:19A traitor.
08:20Okay.
08:21So, I'm happy to confirm for you that I am...
08:25A...
08:26Traitful.
08:28Graceful.
08:29Grateful.
08:30Vengeful.
08:32Spiteful.
08:33Cheerful.
08:34Faithful.
08:35Oh, my gosh!
08:36Oh, my gosh!
08:37I love faithful!
08:39I'm the worst faithful in the land at this point.
08:41Me and you are just going at that.
08:42I even said, like, there's a chunk of me that thinks me and you are just passionate faithfuls.
08:47And we were!
08:48Seeing as you're not a traitor.
08:49I'm sorry.
08:50Who do you think they are?
08:51I think Rachel is.
08:52She's my number one.
08:53Okay.
08:54I'm fearing there's two.
08:56I think Faraz is the other one.
08:58Ooh!
08:59And if there's a third, which would be ridiculous, Stephen.
09:02Really?
09:03So you think Jack and Jade are 100% faithful?
09:05I just can't see it.
09:06Shall we find out?
09:07Yeah, let's do it.
09:08Some blind faithfuls.
09:09I don't even want to know now.
09:10This is too much.
09:11This is horrendous.
09:12Here we go.
09:13Here we go.
09:18Stephen.
09:19Oh, my goodness!
09:21The little...
09:22Honestly, that's mental!
09:24Is there another one?
09:29Ah!
09:30It's Rachel!
09:31Yes!
09:32Oh.
09:33Oh, wow.
09:34She's toast.
09:35She nearly went, Faraz.
09:36Wow, he wasn't.
09:37Oh, no.
09:38This is so mental.
09:39I am so sorry for coming at you so hard.
09:41Please don't be sorry.
09:42It kept me in the game and it probably kept you in the game.
09:48Incredible.
09:50And you can watch Roxy and James' reactions later in full on the BBC Sounds socials.
09:55Now, James.
09:56Hello, sir.
09:57You named both of the remaining traitors there as your suspicions.
10:01At what point did you suspect Rachel?
10:04Because I think you did have some suspicions before you left as well, of course.
10:06Yeah.
10:07Slightly earlier than I laid out there, to be honest.
10:10It's...
10:11I think she likes me.
10:12I think she gets on with me.
10:13You know, the classic blinded by that.
10:14And I think she knows I trust her.
10:16But I don't.
10:17You know, it was just too many scrapes.
10:18I thought if I somehow get anyone in the endgame, I can't end it with her.
10:21And it was narrowing it down who you can end it with.
10:23Yeah.
10:24There weren't many.
10:25The British Young Lady and Jack were the only two I could be as sure as I could be on.
10:28From about halfway through Ormond's.
10:30So, I mean, you're pretty bang on the money, really.
10:32Yeah, I mean...
10:33But slightly too late.
10:34I find if you name every cast member at least once...
10:38James.
10:39What?
10:40James, I think everyone would agree you were a total force of nature in there.
10:44You were incredible.
10:45Every episode delivering something entertaining.
10:47And obviously ended it in fittingly dramatic style with the chest of chance.
10:51The second chest of chance of the series.
10:53The third chest of chance in two series of The Traitors.
10:56Talk us through your final moments in the game with those chests.
10:59I mean, it sounds bizarre, but as a fanboy, I'm like, how have I got here?
11:03Traitor versus Faithful to get into the final.
11:05This is like the stuff of dreams.
11:07Like, how has this happened?
11:08Now, Jade, you initially voted for James in that final round table that he was there for.
11:14And then you switched your vote to Rachel.
11:16Why did you do that?
11:17Because she's smart.
11:21James's arguments were just not...
11:24It was just making me more confused.
11:26And then I was like, right, take a step back.
11:29Who should I actually be voting for here?
11:30Who did I walk into the room with?
11:32And it was Rachel.
11:33So I was like, this is an opportunity to rectify that wrong.
11:35Claudia, that's another third chest of chance, like I say, that we've had in two series.
11:39I can't.
11:40I can't even.
11:41I don't know what to say about it.
11:42Because I, yeah, I come in with a tray.
11:46Which, by the way, is much heavier than it looks.
11:49So I'm like, hello.
11:52Yeah.
11:53But it's incredibly dramatic for everybody.
11:55And I think the final plea is a really good opportunity.
12:00Both you and Rachel did it brilliantly.
12:02And then the idea that two of you swapped.
12:04And then there was still bedlock.
12:05Oh, it was amazing.
12:06Yeah, both me and Jack swapping.
12:08And it was like, oh, no, we've both done it.
12:10So what do we do now?
12:11There have been a lot of theories going.
12:13I can tell from how they pick it up which one's got the...
12:15You can't tell.
12:16Oh.
12:17Absolutely not.
12:18James, you were absolutely convinced throughout the series that Matthew was a traitor.
12:22I still am.
12:23Even going...
12:24He's trick production, I'm telling you.
12:26He's such a smooth operator, that guy.
12:27He tried his best.
12:28He's amazing.
12:29He really wanted to be one.
12:30What were the biggest clues for you that Matthew was a traitor?
12:33I've never played poker to an amazing level, but I used to earn a living doing it for a while.
12:36And the first few seconds, the blindfold comes off.
12:39I was a bit cheesed off.
12:40It wasn't...
12:41I was doing that when Claudia walked behind me the whole time.
12:43That's all right.
12:44I forgive you.
12:45And everyone else was doing that.
12:47Obviously, I know a lot of them are acting.
12:49And Matthew was just stood like that.
12:51It looked like a deer in the headlights for a few seconds.
12:53And I did ask him, I thought you looked quite stunned.
12:55And he didn't really have an answer to it.
12:57And he's a really smart guy.
12:58I thought this guy can carry it off.
13:00He turns on the style at the round tables.
13:01He hides in the shadows a bit.
13:03I'm the only one shouting his name.
13:04I must be keeping him in.
13:05I've solved it.
13:06No.
13:07I'll let you know.
13:08Matthew, what was it like in your final day in the castle,
13:11knowing that James had his sights set on you?
13:13And of course, he had the ceremonial dagger.
13:14Love you, mate.
13:16You have to have hope.
13:18Because anything can happen.
13:20But I did feel like the odds were stacked against me.
13:23I do regret not making it plainly obvious at that last round table
13:27that I didn't think you were a traitor.
13:29Because I didn't.
13:30I just did not believe you were a traitor.
13:31No, no.
13:32You thought I was, though.
13:33Yeah.
13:34Well, you know.
13:35Yeah.
13:36Hi.
13:37My family are very disappointed in me.
13:39It's feeling a lot more like an American chat show this week.
13:44Oh, yeah, yeah.
13:45You guys.
13:46But it's...
13:47I just want to say this on behalf of...
13:49It's impossible if you don't know.
13:51Of course.
13:52Yeah, yeah.
13:53And it's so easy when you're watching the telly and you do.
13:55Jade, after James' departure following the Chest of Chance,
13:58you were confirmed as one of the final five.
14:00However, despite battling players' suspicions since the very first round table,
14:04they finally acted on them in this final episode.
14:07Let's take a look at the moment where you found out the identity of the traitors shortly after leaving the game.
14:12I did see it coming.
14:17I said I was being set up for banishment for a while now, so it did catch me off guard that it would happen so close to the final.
14:24You do start picturing who you're going to stand at that bonfire with.
14:28And I think when you start kind of picturing in your head, you're manifesting it quite a lot.
14:32So, it was so close and yet so far at the same time.
14:37I think there are two traitors left in the castle and I think one of them is Faraz.
14:43Throughout the kind of whole of the game, I had to kind of take advantage of the situation that I was put in and see who was really pushing me for banishment.
14:51And Faraz, I feel like that round table was kind of desperate to get me banished.
14:56Like, everything that had been worked up at this point was suddenly kind of paying off.
15:01And I feel Rachel played a really instrumental role in that because, you know, Jack, Steve and I are a little trio in a sense.
15:09So, they've got to be working together, I think.
15:12After everything the traitors have put me through, I cannot wait to find out who they are.
15:16Rachel, yeah.
15:29It's difficult.
15:31Yeah, that.
15:33I mean, I said it, didn't I?
15:36I'm glad I was right about one thing.
15:39That's really gratifying to be in that situation.
15:46Stephen.
15:47Okay.
15:48The thing is, right, when someone's that close to you, you don't look at it for what it is.
15:55And having walked out of that round table and seeing how he voted for me, it would have been too late to recognise who that person was.
16:02Damn.
16:03Stephen's playing a phenomenal game.
16:07100%.
16:08Yeah.
16:11I've lost words, really.
16:13And Stephen, he had me in his back pocket.
16:15Yeah.
16:16Stephen, Stephen had you in his back pocket.
16:17Yeah.
16:18It's one of the benefits of wearing such massive trousers.
16:19I know.
16:20I'm a big person.
16:21A lot to unpack there from that reveal.
16:22Yeah.
16:23Let's start with Rachel.
16:24You were suspicious of her and thought she and Faraz were playing as a traitor team.
16:38Had you had suspicions of Rachel earlier in the game or did the thoughts form a little bit later on?
16:42It was pretty early.
16:43There was a conversation that I'd had with Sam and Rachel in the kitchen where I, you know, told them about what had happened on the chariot mission.
16:50And that information got round so fast.
16:56Yeah.
16:57And I was like, well, Sam was in a unique situation like I was.
17:02Rachel was the only other person in that room.
17:04And I was like, that's a little red flag.
17:06So it started then.
17:07And then, you know, Amanda and the policing training just kept being brought up regardless.
17:14And I was like, well, you're pushing a narrative and she's banished from the cast and you're still bringing up Amanda's name.
17:20So, yeah.
17:21And the Stephen reveal, you mentioned that you, Stephen and Jack had been a bit of a trio.
17:26How did it feel seeing Stephen's name on the scroll?
17:29I think after he'd written my name down at the round table, the pin dropped.
17:36And you don't quite realise how blind you are because I felt quite vulnerable going through the game because I'd had so much heat.
17:43And it was really important for me, especially to have backing people that I feel would have my back.
17:48And Stephen was just one of them. And then, yeah, when he put my name down, it was, oh, okay, right.
17:54You see the game in the moment, don't you?
17:56You see the game. You see literally how it's all played out.
17:58But then it's too late by then because you're going out the door.
18:01Of course.
18:02Now, one of the major theories around you being a traitor was that Amanda thought you were a traitor and Amanda was in the police force.
18:08Yeah.
18:09Amanda, how does it feel watching it back knowing that you were part of the game long after you left?
18:15I didn't realise I was going to be such a part of it when I was actually not in the castle.
18:21I just want to say, Jade, I apologise. We've apologised. I've apologised over beers.
18:26But I just want to apologise and say you played an absolute blinder all the way through and you just kept going.
18:34So, well done to you. Well done to you.
18:36Great.
18:38James and Jade, it's been an absolute pleasure speaking with you.
18:45Everyone give it up for finalist James.
18:48James, shortly I'm going to ask you to join our front row of traitfuls as they will now be known forevermore.
18:59Good man.
19:00Now, Rachel and Stephen will be joining us very shortly for their very first post-win interview.
19:05But first, I'll be having a chat with our runners-up Jack and Faraz.
19:08Here is the moment where they both found out the identities of the traitors just moments after leaving the endgame.
19:13Rachel!
19:14Grandma's dummy!
19:15Grandma's dummy!
19:16Oh no!
19:17Oh no!
19:18Here we go.
19:19Here we go!
19:20Rachel!
19:21And Stephen!
19:22Whoa!
19:23Rachel and Stephen!
19:24I knew it!
19:25Oh!
19:26Oh!
19:27Oh!
19:28Oh!
19:29Oh!
19:30Oh!
19:31Oh!
19:32Oh!
19:33Oh!
19:34Oh!
19:35Oh!
19:36Oh!
19:37Oh!
19:38Oh!
19:39Oh!
19:40Oh!
19:41Oh!
19:42Oh!
19:43Ohhh!
19:44Oh!
19:45Oh!
19:46Oh!
19:47Oh!
19:48Oh!
19:49Oh!
19:50Oh!
19:51Oh!
19:52Oh!
19:53I got one out of four!
19:54They obviously had a tactic, they had a strategy and they executed it with perfection, because they've won.
20:02Stephen definitely played a smart game.
20:04So I was on to Stephen when he came back into the Mazz as well.
20:09Oh, mate, I actually am not bad at this game then, to be fair.
20:13I just need to stop changing my mind.
20:15It is nice to know I was the last remaining faithful in the game.
20:19And I can lead this game with my head held high,
20:25knowing that I played with integrity, honesty, and I was just myself.
20:30Rachel and Stephen have defo's took the coin home and split it.
20:34Yeah, I feel sorry for Jack. I think he'll be absolutely gutted.
20:37But, yeah, Rachel and Stephen, to be fair to them,
20:40especially Rachel, I feel if she deserves it, the game she's played.
20:46A huge round of applause, please, for Traces finalists, Faraz and Jack!
20:54Welcome, welcome, boys of Utah, folks.
20:57Faraz, let's start with you.
20:59Talk us through that final day in the game.
21:01How were you feeling?
21:02The final day was honestly a blur.
21:04Like, I think I was just buzzing to be there, to be honest.
21:06And then, obviously, breakfast just stuck my face in that,
21:09ridding myself for the day.
21:10But, no, honestly, it was just an unreal feeling, just making it.
21:14There's so many shots of you just absolutely wolfing down food.
21:17I'm a growing lad, aren't I? I'm a growing lad.
21:19I need my five a day.
21:21It was my mission. That was my mission.
21:23It's not the missions in the day. It was getting the food in.
21:24Do you know five a day relates to fruit and vegetables and not full meals?
21:27Yeah.
21:28Bad clit.
21:30Jack, what about you? Same question.
21:31What was your plan for that final day?
21:33It's so hard, isn't it?
21:34Like, when you come into the final day, like,
21:35we're all looking forward to the mission.
21:37I was absolutely buzzing for the mission,
21:38but your head is just so mangled at that point.
21:41And I know, as the viewers, you sit there and you think,
21:43oh, it's so easy, it's so obvious,
21:44but my head was a total mess about who to vote for, you know.
21:48It's so hard coming to that last round table.
21:50I bet.
21:51Yeah.
21:51What about you, Jade?
21:52Because, obviously, you're going into that final day.
21:54Are you worried that you're going to go before the end game?
21:56Could you see the right...
21:57I was set up for banishment.
21:58My days were so limited.
22:00I made my peace with it very early on,
22:02and I was like, I will not go gently into that night.
22:04But, yeah, I mean, I'm amazed I got as far as I did,
22:09to be honest, but I knew it was just an hour of time.
22:11Faraz, now, you've also been dubbed
22:13as a bit of a detective this series.
22:15Faraz of the Christie's been flying around.
22:17Oh, yeah, I saw that.
22:18Long laugh, didn't he?
22:20Well, you went for Rachel.
22:21I think we were all...
22:22It was limbs in my house.
22:23We were so excited.
22:24He's going to get Rachel.
22:26And then you sort of had a little bit of a nap
22:28and changed your mind.
22:29Yeah.
22:31Sounds about right.
22:31What was it that made your suspicions wane?
22:33I think it was just the way she reacted.
22:36Yeah.
22:36To me, as soon as the round table,
22:38like, she was so calm,
22:39and I resonated with the fact that
22:40if you were to stand up there as a faithful,
22:42you want to just rub it in the face,
22:44sort of as a last hurrah,
22:45and that's exactly how I would have felt.
22:47So I think it was just that,
22:48and I was like, yeah, that's, like,
22:50obviously, as a faithful, knowing why I am,
22:53I thought that that's it,
22:54that it probably, she's not a traitor
22:56in that sort of respect.
22:58I guess you're, it's so difficult, isn't it,
23:00that you decide one thing
23:02and then probably so easily convinced
23:04in the other direction
23:04because you simply don't know.
23:05That's what it is.
23:06Like, when you're in the castle,
23:07when you're playing the game,
23:08things change, like, in a matter of moments,
23:10and you can't really anticipate
23:12where things are going to go.
23:13And to be fair to her,
23:14she was, like, really convincing and stuff,
23:16and she was smart, she was calculating,
23:18she knew what she was doing.
23:19Yeah.
23:19So, yeah, it was...
23:20And she was organised.
23:21I mean, if you've now seen
23:23the Rachel and Stephen plotting pre-Endgame,
23:26they were organised,
23:27they knew what they were doing.
23:28Do you think there's anything
23:29that you two could have done
23:30to stop them pre-Endgame?
23:33I think we probably could have had
23:34a few more chats, couldn't we,
23:35and just sort of had that plan in place.
23:38Like, I said that plan to you,
23:39I didn't even follow up myself, so...
23:40We've been over it a hundred times, haven't we?
23:44It's endlessly frustrating.
23:46You go over and over,
23:47but I think the reality is, like,
23:49particularly in that very last roundtable,
23:51or the Endgame,
23:53I was sort of set on Rachel,
23:54Fraz was set on Stephen,
23:55and we were both going for traitors,
23:56but just two different traitors,
23:57and I think we just weren't voting together.
24:00I think that was the thing, wasn't it?
24:01I think it's hard to accept the fact
24:02that we were both right and both wrong.
24:04I know, yes, true.
24:05Well, you were very won over by Fraz, Jack.
24:07You seemed to be siding with him.
24:08Why did you choose him over Rachel?
24:11I just, I think Fraz and I
24:12had a little, like, bro bond on day one.
24:15Like, yeah.
24:16On day one, like,
24:17we sat next to each other on the train,
24:18we just clicked straight away,
24:20and I just, he was one of those people,
24:21I had a little book,
24:22and I wrote who I thought was, like, faithful,
24:24who I thought was a trait,
24:24and I put a percentage on it,
24:25and Fraz was pretty much always
24:27a hundred percent faithful for me
24:28the whole way through.
24:29At the very end,
24:30there was that small slither of doubt,
24:32but, like, as there is for all the players,
24:33you know what I mean?
24:34But it was just,
24:36it was so hard at the end,
24:37and I think, as well,
24:39ironically, Stephen was someone I had
24:41as almost the whole way through
24:42a hundred percent faithful.
24:43It was only at the very end
24:44that I started to look at him,
24:45which is crazy,
24:46considering all the evidence
24:47that was put against him
24:47throughout the game,
24:48but it just goes to show, doesn't it,
24:49it's such a hard game.
24:51Well, look, you are all fantastic players.
24:53We loved watching you.
24:54A massive round of applause
24:55for Fraz, Jack, and Jay!
25:00Well,
25:00the time has come
25:03to finally hear from our winners,
25:04Rachel and Stephen.
25:06Here's the moment
25:06the traitors seized their historic win.
25:10I'll be honest,
25:11I had moments
25:12where I was doubting
25:13what I was going to do tonight,
25:15but
25:16I had,
25:18I couldn't go back
25:20on my word to you.
25:20It just wasn't worth the money,
25:22and I couldn't,
25:22I couldn't have walked out of here
25:24by lying to you.
25:26Two traitors,
25:27but totally faithful
25:29to each other.
25:31You did it.
25:32You absolutely did it.
25:33Congratulations.
25:35I'm so proud of you, honestly.
25:36I'm very proud of you.
25:37I'm so proud of you.
25:38Oh, I love you.
25:39Oh, thank you.
25:45Incredible.
25:47I'll be honest.
25:48I love you.
25:52Welcome.
25:53Welcome,
25:53welcome to Uncloak,
25:54both of you.
25:55Congratulations.
25:56Thank you very much.
25:56Our two Traitor Champions,
25:58you are both incredible
25:58throughout the game.
25:59I want a quick reflection
26:00from both of you.
26:01How does it feel
26:02watching that back?
26:03Rachel, you first of all.
26:04A lot more emotional
26:05than I remember.
26:06I don't think I was
26:08letting my nerves shine through
26:10because I knew
26:11what I was going to do,
26:12but I was so nervous
26:13with Stephen,
26:13so watching it back,
26:14it kind of,
26:15it got me a little bit,
26:17made me cry.
26:18Nervous that he was
26:18going to change his mind?
26:21Nervous that I wasn't
26:21going to change his mind.
26:23Yeah, I don't know
26:24what goes on
26:24on that little head of his.
26:26You don't want to.
26:28What about you, Stephen?
26:29How does it feel
26:29watching it back?
26:30Unlike Rachel,
26:31I didn't know
26:32what I was going to do.
26:34And watching it back,
26:35I mean,
26:37I think I can see
26:39in my face,
26:40I've got quite
26:41an expressive face,
26:42as I think.
26:43Oh, really?
26:44You might have
26:44picked up on already.
26:47You know,
26:47you're just a meme generator now.
26:49Yeah.
26:50Every emotion possible.
26:52See,
26:52I never knew
26:53I had an expressive face,
26:54so this is news to me.
26:56And what face
26:57did you make
26:57when you found out?
26:58But, yeah,
27:04I think just watching it back,
27:05you know,
27:06I'm just so proud
27:08of the decision
27:09that I made,
27:10proud of myself,
27:11and just proud of the game
27:12that Rachel played as well.
27:13I think it couldn't really
27:14go any better, so...
27:16Well, let's talk about
27:16the pact,
27:17the pact that you made
27:18by the family tree
27:19that you wouldn't write
27:20each other's names down
27:21on the slate.
27:22I will hold my hands up
27:23and apologise
27:23that every single episode
27:24of Uncloaked,
27:25when the pact comes up,
27:26I say,
27:27the pact's worth nothing.
27:28We know.
27:29We know.
27:30We were watching
27:31and I couldn't wait
27:31for this moment.
27:35To be fair to me,
27:36history told me
27:37that the pact would not stick.
27:38No one has ever stuck
27:39to a pact like that.
27:40Even the people
27:40making the pact
27:41know that they're not
27:42going to stick to it.
27:43So both of you
27:43in that moment,
27:44when you made it,
27:45you thought,
27:45we're absolutely sticking to it.
27:47I knew from the minute
27:49it came out of my mouth
27:49I wouldn't break it.
27:51I knew that
27:52and I just thought,
27:52you have to think
27:53really fast in this game
27:54and you have to kind of
27:55navigate and go
27:56with the flow.
27:57And I just thought
27:58at that moment,
27:58no, this is a new game
27:59for me
28:00and I'm not breaking that.
28:01Yeah,
28:02that's not what I was thinking.
28:08It's so hard
28:09to trust someone in there
28:10whose job it is
28:12to lie,
28:12you know?
28:13And so,
28:15yeah,
28:15I was really struggling
28:16to see how Rachel
28:18could hold on
28:19to that pact
28:19for the whole game,
28:21which is why,
28:22towards the end,
28:23like,
28:23I was wobbling big time.
28:27I'm just so glad
28:28that she's a woman
28:29of her word.
28:30Well,
28:30you both had a lot
28:31of stuff to deal with
28:32throughout the whole game.
28:33Obviously,
28:33the secret traitor,
28:34the dastardly Fiona.
28:36When Fiona
28:37revealed herself,
28:39did you initially
28:41trust her, Stephen?
28:42Did you think
28:42you could trust her?
28:44I did,
28:45yeah.
28:45I think myself
28:46and Fiona
28:46got on really well
28:48and if there was anyone
28:51that I wanted it to be,
28:53I wanted it to be Fiona
28:54but I didn't think
28:55it would be.
28:57I was so trapped
28:59when she walked
29:00into that turret.
29:01Yeah.
29:01We all were.
29:02Yeah.
29:03Yeah, yeah, yeah.
29:03I don't think
29:04we all were.
29:05No.
29:05No.
29:09We weren't, no.
29:12Well,
29:12Rachel,
29:12obviously,
29:13you came to blows
29:14with Fiona
29:15a little bit.
29:16Yeah.
29:16When she accused herself
29:18in the kitchen,
29:20talk us through that moment.
29:21What was going
29:21through your mind?
29:23I just thought,
29:24this is great crack.
29:25I was like this
29:26because I was nervous
29:27for the first part
29:28of the game
29:28and then,
29:29and I love games.
29:31I am so competitive.
29:32I love them
29:32and Fiona reminded me
29:34that this is a game.
29:36These are all adults
29:37going to play a game.
29:38It was like the laughs
29:39we had,
29:40but yeah,
29:41it took me about
29:41three seconds
29:42when she dropped
29:43her cloak
29:43and I just thought,
29:44no.
29:45She dropped the hood
29:46and I was like,
29:47no, she's going
29:47to throw me under the bus.
29:48I just didn't think
29:49she was going to move.
29:51Was it when she said it?
29:52Bolt and just straight away
29:53go for me.
29:54But she's phenomenal.
29:55I mean,
29:55bringing the cloak back
29:56and saying,
29:57haven't I been wonderful
29:57was probably...
29:59She loved it.
30:01And that line,
30:02I'm drunk on power,
30:03it's like,
30:03I know you are.
30:04I can see you.
30:05She made it so much fun
30:07and like that reaction
30:08in the kitchen
30:09when she says,
30:10I think you're a traitor
30:11and I burst out laughing
30:11and I thought,
30:12this is brilliant.
30:13Yeah, it was amazing.
30:13This is hilarious.
30:14How did that feel
30:15for you, Claudia?
30:16Because obviously
30:16you weren't in the kitchen
30:17when that happened.
30:18I was watching.
30:18I was watching
30:19and my mouth was...
30:21I mean,
30:21I had to hold it up
30:22with both my hands
30:22and my feet.
30:23I was like,
30:24what is going on?
30:25What's happening?
30:27What?
30:27No, Fiona,
30:28stop, stop, stop, stop.
30:30Can I just go down?
30:31No, you can't.
30:32Can I just...
30:32Could I just get a message
30:34to...
30:34Could I write something
30:35in an apple?
30:36It was unbelievable.
30:37But yeah,
30:38you acted very fast.
30:39You were like,
30:40no, no,
30:40I'm not doing this.
30:41Come on, everybody.
30:41I need to tell everyone.
30:43Fiona,
30:43were you disappointed
30:44that Stephen sided with Rachel
30:46at your final round table?
30:47No, not at all.
30:49I knew my time was up
30:52to be honest with you
30:53and I just loved every minute
30:55and I've said all the way along
30:57it was Team Traitor.
30:58I wanted you to be there
31:01and I just had the best fun ever.
31:06It was wonderful
31:07and to play with all these wonderful people,
31:11all my contestants here,
31:12was...
31:13Oh, I can't begin to tell you
31:15how excited I was
31:16every single day.
31:17Rachel,
31:19you barely got a chance
31:20to relax after that.
31:22You barely got a chance
31:23to relax
31:23because then you had
31:24a showdown with Harriet.
31:26Was that something
31:27you were expecting
31:27in the talk to the traitors?
31:30No.
31:30You talk about
31:31being blindsided
31:32and me and Harriet
31:34had a lovely relationship
31:35in the castle
31:35and I remember
31:36sitting in the library
31:37and we were just chatting
31:38about the questions
31:39and I thought,
31:40Harriet's knackered
31:41and she can't come up
31:42with the questions
31:42and blah, blah, blah
31:43and I just thought,
31:44right, it's Maddie
31:46that we need to worry about.
31:47He's going to blindside us
31:48and then when the boots
31:49come in
31:50and the round table
31:51at Trader's Pit,
31:52Claudia's boots
31:52are like clunk, clunk, clunk.
31:55Sorry.
31:55There was nothing
31:56on Harriet walking in
31:57to the church side
31:58because it's obviously,
31:59you know,
32:00it's very quiet.
32:01The boots come in
32:02and then she started speaking
32:03and I thought,
32:04I just want to go home.
32:06She scared the life out of me
32:08but it was brilliant.
32:09It was absolutely brilliant.
32:10Harriet,
32:10how does it feel
32:11to see Rachel get so far
32:12and then win the game
32:13despite your best efforts?
32:14Oh, I mean,
32:15I've been beaten by the master
32:17and she is superb.
32:20She is, I think,
32:21that when you see
32:22how an alliance
32:24formed between traitors
32:25just wipes the floor
32:26with everyone,
32:28I mean,
32:28I'm so pleased
32:29that you stuck to it,
32:30both of you,
32:31to the end
32:31and, I mean,
32:32Rachel watching you
32:33through the whole series,
32:35you've just been fantastic.
32:37So calm,
32:38collected,
32:39strategic,
32:41completely outplayed,
32:42all of us,
32:43you know,
32:43brilliant.
32:44Badass.
32:45Yeah.
32:50But of course,
32:52both of you flew
32:53perilously close to the sun
32:54on numerous occasions.
32:57I mean,
32:57there was one moment
32:58everyone was talking about
32:59when you were next
33:00to the family tree
33:01trying to work out
33:02how to mark the people
33:03on the family tree
33:03and, of course,
33:05Rhys was stood there.
33:08You were worried
33:09about that,
33:10weren't you, Stephen,
33:10that Rhys had seen you
33:11both next to the family tree
33:12and was sent away
33:14so you could have
33:15a conversation.
33:15Yeah.
33:16When Rachel asked Rhys
33:18to leave,
33:19I think you saw my world
33:20disintegrate in front
33:21of my eyes.
33:22No, hang on.
33:22He offered to leave.
33:23He offered to leave.
33:24Okay, sorry.
33:25I'm rewriting history.
33:27But I was terrified.
33:31I mean,
33:32I don't know how
33:33he didn't bring it up
33:34the next day.
33:35Sorry, Rhys.
33:36Well, I mean,
33:36luckily,
33:37we've given him a microphone.
33:38So, Rhys.
33:39How did you not bring that up
33:40at the real table?
33:40I'm sweating.
33:41I'm sweating for one right now.
33:42The battering I have had,
33:44by the way,
33:44from family, friends,
33:45even cast,
33:46are mental.
33:49It's hard,
33:49because obviously,
33:50like,
33:50the next day,
33:51we had the early banishment.
33:52Obviously,
33:53it was Ross.
33:53My name was already
33:54being thrown through the dirt,
33:56and I was never,
33:57Stephen Fairplay to him
33:58was hard on pushing
33:59on Mazwa's
34:00at the family tree last night,
34:01and I was never going to be like,
34:02so was I, by the way.
34:03I was also there,
34:05so I was just
34:05in my chair,
34:06sitting down,
34:07no one mentioned me,
34:08and then I was like,
34:09I'll mention it after the table
34:10if I get through.
34:10No, you won't.
34:11You'll go in a cage.
34:12And then Fiona won't bother
34:13trying to get you out of the cage,
34:14so you'll stay in the cage.
34:15And then it just,
34:16one thing led to another,
34:17and it just never came up for me,
34:18but was I a bit naive?
34:20I'll let you answer that.
34:21But you didn't want
34:22to implicate yourself,
34:23essentially.
34:24You didn't want to put yourself
34:24next to the family tree
34:25as well as Rachel and Stephen.
34:26I was just trying to learn Latin.
34:28I don't know what's the deal.
34:29They're telling,
34:30I walked out of the kitchen.
34:31They didn't come with me.
34:32Let's go, guys.
34:33People go into the castle
34:34for different reasons,
34:34and I think Latin
34:35is an admirable one.
34:36Educational purposes,
34:38I reckon.
34:39Stephen,
34:40you also had to get through
34:41the Library 5 theory.
34:42I did, yes.
34:43Which was absolutely,
34:44it's a spot-on theory from Jesse,
34:46the Library 5 theory.
34:47Yeah.
34:47But it didn't really gain traction.
34:49How do you think
34:50you got away with that?
34:52A hope and a prayer,
34:53I think, to be honest.
34:55It is...
34:56That, I think,
34:58was the first time
34:59I realised that
35:00I wasn't really cut out
35:02to play this game strategically.
35:03I just, like,
35:04I made that move,
35:06and it wasn't until
35:07Jesse brought it up to me
35:08the next day
35:09and said,
35:09I think Ross has been framed,
35:11I was shocked
35:12that I had got myself
35:14into that mess.
35:16And I knew then
35:17I had to play more
35:18of a social game
35:18than a strategic game
35:20because I clearly
35:20wasn't very good
35:21at, like,
35:22seeing where the lines
35:23would lead back to me.
35:26I'm amazed that...
35:28I'm amazed I'm sat here
35:29in the first place,
35:29to be honest.
35:30I think Jesse
35:31is such
35:33a switched-on person
35:34and every single thing
35:36she said about me
35:36obviously was 100% accurate.
35:40And just a phenomenal player
35:42and I think, really,
35:42she'd be so proud of herself
35:43with how she came across
35:44because just an amazing person,
35:46so well done.
35:47Yes.
35:51There were,
35:52amongst you as Traces,
35:54there were a couple
35:55of verbal slip-ups as well.
35:56I mean, we saw in...
35:57Oh, my God.
35:58...in that final episode,
35:59Rachel,
36:00you saying,
36:01if I was a faithful,
36:02big, big whoopsie.
36:04I can't even remember
36:05saying that.
36:06Oh, so you didn't even
36:07register it when you said it?
36:09Did you not hear
36:10the cameras all zoom in on you?
36:11No.
36:12I watched it
36:13and then I thought,
36:13oh, God,
36:14I can't remember
36:15those words coming
36:16out of my mouth
36:16and then, luckily,
36:18nobody else really remembers
36:19it.
36:19I don't even remember
36:20saying it, eh?
36:21I was too focused
36:22on Jack who's upset.
36:23I was too busy crying.
36:24I didn't even know
36:25if she said it.
36:26I think I was too busy
36:27eating blueberries.
36:28Yeah.
36:30So you guys
36:31didn't notice
36:31any slip-ups
36:33from these two?
36:33There were no alarm bells
36:34going for us.
36:35Stephen, do you remember
36:35that time at the table
36:36I saw a TikTok
36:37of you saying
36:38when we discussed
36:39this last night
36:40instead of this morning
36:41as in last night
36:42in the turret
36:42and none of us
36:43clocked that you said it.
36:44Yeah, I did say
36:45when I thought
36:47about this last night
36:48and, again,
36:49like, Rachel,
36:49I have no recollection
36:50of saying that
36:51and when I watched
36:53that episode back
36:53I was screaming
36:54at the TV
36:55like,
36:55what are you doing?
36:56You know?
36:57But I think
36:58you can also tell
36:59that I didn't quite
37:00realise the gravity
37:01of the mistake
37:02I'd made
37:02because I think
37:02if I had known
37:03that I'd slipped up
37:04so badly
37:05I would have then
37:06continued to, like,
37:08you know,
37:08degrade from there on.
37:10So I think
37:10I just didn't realise
37:11I made the mistake
37:12and...
37:13That's for the best,
37:14isn't it?
37:14Yeah.
37:14Because you're then
37:15digging a hole
37:15and next thing you're saying
37:16you am into a tracer.
37:17You know?
37:17Yeah, I am what I am.
37:19Yeah, yeah, yeah,
37:19exactly.
37:20I think whilst you're there
37:21as well
37:21you sometimes give people
37:23benefit of the doubt
37:23because everything's
37:24happening so fast
37:25and stuff,
37:26like daft little slip-ups
37:27like that,
37:28well, it doesn't seem
37:28daft now.
37:29It's like that,
37:30like you sort of
37:31let people get away with
37:32because people can stumble
37:33over the words
37:34and stuff like that
37:35so sometimes you do
37:36let it fly under the radar.
37:37That's exactly right
37:38and also not to harp back,
37:39Alan Carr couldn't say
37:40the words
37:41I am a faithful
37:41that bursting out laughing
37:43and everyone else
37:44around and went
37:45aww, yeah.
37:46So, again,
37:48when you're in there,
37:49when you're in the castle
37:50somebody says something
37:51it doesn't lodge.
37:52No.
37:52Please don't compare
37:53these people
37:54to the celebrity faithful.
37:55Those guys were awful.
37:59You guys,
38:00did you notice
38:01Rachel and Stephen
38:01being close in the castle?
38:03Did you see them
38:03like chatting to each other
38:04or...?
38:05This was the thing
38:06that really frustrated me
38:07because I had
38:09a little notebook
38:09and I wrote down
38:10everyone's names
38:11and I drew lines
38:12from who I saw
38:13would talk to each other
38:14and the only two people
38:15and I didn't realise
38:16this until way too late
38:17the only two lines
38:18I didn't draw a name
38:19between was
38:19Stephen and Rachel.
38:21Literally never saw them
38:22and I was literally
38:23staring at that paper
38:24like who is not connected
38:26but it was literally
38:26in front of me.
38:27So, it's straying.
38:28I think they'd done well
38:29to sort of hide
38:30in plain sight really
38:31because I was the same
38:32didn't really notice
38:33them speaking much at all.
38:34Not bad for a grandma, huh?
38:35Yeah, not bad for a granny.
38:38I want to get a tattoo
38:40of Grandma's down me.
38:41That is so funny.
38:43Brilliant.
38:44Rachel, now the question
38:45on everyone's lips.
38:47Let's talk FBI training.
38:50Tell us more
38:51about this FBI training.
38:52What did it entail?
38:53Is it available
38:54to the rest of us?
38:55So, I was very careful
38:56with my words.
38:58I said I did it.
38:58I was trained
38:59by a former FBI agent.
39:02That's correct
39:03but a really loose
39:04interpretation of it.
39:06So, the four-month
39:08online course
39:09was more like
39:10a one-day course
39:11and an e-book
39:12but still
39:15by a former FBI agent.
39:17So, it was
39:17tactical skills
39:19in negotiating
39:19with difficult people
39:20and there was
39:2021 very difficult people
39:22in that castle
39:22and the art
39:24of micro-expressions
39:25and stuff
39:26which, you know,
39:27I just thought
39:28if I have something there
39:29that I tried
39:30if I was a faithful
39:31I had skills
39:32or I prepared
39:33but that just
39:34it's taken on
39:34a life of its own.
39:36Well, and it probably
39:36put the fear of God
39:37into people as well
39:37when you're announcing
39:38that you've got
39:39FBI training.
39:39Did that scare you
39:42when you heard that?
39:42Yeah, you're saying
39:43to Fraz that
39:44I had a clench
39:45in my jaw
39:46and obviously
39:46you're going to believe it.
39:47Yeah, I was like
39:48yeah, I've seen that
39:48I've seen that
39:49I don't think
39:49I ever did that.
39:51No, because I said
39:52I said Jade
39:53had a clench
39:54in your jaw
39:54on this side
39:55and he says
39:55yeah, I've seen it
39:56and he's sitting
39:56on this side.
39:58I don't think
39:59you ought to say
39:59that one.
40:02But, like
40:02it's the art
40:03of distraction.
40:04It's anything but me
40:05don't speak about me
40:06and just speak
40:07about somebody else
40:07out there
40:08so it worked.
40:08But that's what
40:08I love so much
40:09about you two
40:10is you did it
40:10for each other
40:11throughout
40:12when you watch it back
40:14from the moment
40:15that you decided
40:16and that was
40:17I'm not saying
40:17a casual alliance
40:18but you were
40:19in a hall
40:19where people
40:20were looking
40:20and you did it
40:21it's not like
40:22let's sit down
40:22and work this out
40:23you just decided
40:24I love the fact
40:25that anybody
40:26came for one of you
40:27the other person
40:28picked something up
40:28and just went
40:29look over there.
40:30Yeah, yeah, yeah.
40:31And people didn't
40:32see that very often
40:33you know
40:33I know.
40:34Yeah, but we did
40:35have each other's back
40:35up until the end.
40:37We did
40:37well
40:37we did have each other's back
40:39and I think
40:40that was the hardest thing
40:40to have each other's backs
40:41silently
40:42you know
40:43and obviously
40:45you saw my face drop
40:46when Rachel told me
40:46in the turret
40:47that you know
40:48if I hear
40:49that she's been
40:50saying my name
40:51not to panic
40:52and what
40:52I mean
40:53the first thing I do
40:53is panic, right?
40:54but I think
40:56it's just
40:57up until that point
40:58we had been
40:59really good
40:59and I think
41:00for her
41:00when she said
41:01that to me
41:01it was absolutely
41:02the right thing
41:03to do, right?
41:03We can't
41:04as traitors
41:05be defending
41:05each other
41:06too overtly
41:07but
41:08yeah
41:09I think
41:09up until that point
41:10I just
41:10always thought
41:11you were
41:12kind of
41:12actively
41:13defending me
41:13which obviously
41:14would have been
41:14really stupid
41:15because
41:15look at me
41:16and
41:18yeah
41:18so I think
41:19that's when
41:19I started to panic
41:20kind of
41:20towards the latter
41:21part of the game
41:21and maybe
41:22start to throw
41:22your name out
41:23a bit too much
41:23I think at the end
41:24Well Rachel
41:25the big panic
41:26for you in the game
41:27was the chest of chance
41:28you came so close
41:29to being banished
41:30can you talk us
41:30through that round table?
41:32Do you know what?
41:33Myself and James
41:33have spoken about this
41:34and it was oddly
41:35amazing
41:37it was
41:37one of those ones
41:38because I'm a big believer
41:39in what's for you
41:41you know
41:41it's meant to be
41:42and I thought
41:43right
41:43chance is deciding this
41:45so
41:45if it's not
41:46in the chest
41:47so be it
41:48stand up
41:49hold your head high
41:50and walk out
41:50you know
41:50it's up to fate
41:52and then when we opened it
41:53and I seen it
41:54I thought
41:54oh my god
41:56I've just scraped by
41:57by the skin of my teeth
41:58but it was
41:58like it was a brilliant moment
42:00it was a lot of fun
42:01it was an incredible moment
42:02until the cliffhanger
42:03at which point
42:03every living room
42:04in the country
42:05was smashed to pieces
42:05now obviously
42:08you said to Stephen
42:09I'm going to have to talk
42:10I'm going to have to talk
42:10about you
42:11being a traitor
42:12but how did it feel
42:13hearing Stephen
42:14talk about you
42:15being a traitor
42:16at the round table
42:17and throwing accusations
42:18like we knew
42:19it was coming
42:20and we knew
42:20you know
42:21you can't hide
42:23in that game
42:23and you have to
42:24throw names out
42:24so we knew
42:25it was coming
42:25but
42:26it still takes you
42:28by surprise
42:29do you know
42:29when
42:30his face
42:32just told me
42:32he was gunning
42:33for me
42:33and I thought
42:34this is a different face
42:35to the turret face
42:36but yeah
42:38it had to be done
42:38it was slightly unnerving
42:39but we kind of
42:41did you feel
42:41the same way Stephen
42:42when the accusations
42:43were being thrown
42:44at you from Rachel
42:44at the round table
42:45yeah surprisingly
42:46like I think
42:47I think Rachel
42:49had more trust in me
42:50than I had in her
42:51and yet
42:52at the round table
42:53I think
42:54I gave her a harder time
42:55than she gave me
42:56but
42:58yeah
43:00any time
43:00any time I heard
43:01anyone saying my name
43:02I mean
43:03I was perspiring
43:04profusely
43:05and
43:06you know
43:06I would look
43:07the same colour
43:07as your shoes
43:08you know
43:09so
43:09yeah
43:10I was terrified
43:11I would never have heard
43:12my name
43:12but I think
43:13knowing that
43:14knowing that Rachel
43:15could have been
43:16going behind my back
43:16and I know
43:17how influential Rachel
43:18was in that castle
43:19and I think
43:20we all
43:20kind of
43:21were in awe really
43:22of how Rachel
43:23moved around
43:23the circles
43:24and everyone
43:25and just has such
43:26a kind of
43:26gravity in her
43:28in her way
43:29of conducting herself
43:29and so I just knew
43:30that I stood no chance
43:32if I just didn't say
43:33anything about Rachel
43:34you know
43:35because
43:35she could say one line
43:37and it would just
43:37take me down
43:38so yeah
43:39I was terrified
43:39we think on Uncloats
43:41that a lot of your perspiring
43:42was down to the fact
43:43you wore really big jumpers
43:44let's talk about
43:46your fashion sense
43:47in general
43:48because it's been
43:48an absolute delight
43:49this series
43:50thank you very much
43:51thinking
43:51god I hope Stephen
43:52doesn't get banished
43:53because I want to
43:53for breakfast tomorrow
43:54you know
43:55so I
43:56before going into
43:58the castle
43:59I know I've got
44:02a very red face
44:03right
44:03so this is something
44:04that you know
44:05my partner did say
44:06to me
44:06what the hell
44:08are you going to do
44:08about your face
44:09in there
44:09and well
44:11so I thought
44:12if I distract them
44:13from the neck down
44:14maybe they won't
44:17notice the neck up
44:18so I just
44:19I thought if I wear
44:20clothes that are
44:21a bit flamboyant
44:23and loud
44:23then maybe
44:24they'll just be going
44:24oh Stephen
44:25you look really great
44:26today
44:26rather than
44:28looking up here
44:28and going
44:29you're a traitor
44:30you know
44:31so it was all
44:32kind of tactics
44:33and I do also
44:33just love
44:34kind of
44:34that kind of fashion
44:35as well
44:36but I do think
44:37it kind of helped
44:38distract a little bit
44:39well you look fantastic
44:40I mean I obviously
44:40get the episodes

45:17how much
45:18your kind of family
45:19gave up
45:19for you
45:20when you were younger
