00:00Welcome!
00:04Hi!
00:05Welcome to both of you.
00:06Welcome to Unclote for the first time, Chris.
00:08Thank you very much.
00:09And welcome back, Kaz.
00:10Oh, I'm honoured.
00:11A delight to have you both here.
00:12I've got to know, what do you think of the series so far?
00:14How are we enjoying it?
00:15Chris?
00:16Brilliant.
00:17Yeah?
00:18Absolutely brilliant.
00:19I love it.
00:20I'm a recent convert to the Traitors.
00:22Fantastic welcome.
00:23My God.
00:24Where has it been hiding?
00:26I'm like, serious?
00:27I will say it's not been hiding in the slightest, Chris.
00:29That's because I'm an idiot.
00:30It's the biggest show in Britain.
00:31Yeah, that's because I'm an idiot.
00:32And it's absolutely Goddard's hook, line and sinker.
00:36Yeah.
00:37First time I saw them catch a Traitor, did I cry?
00:39I cried.
00:40No word of a lie, I cried watching it.
00:42I was like, what's happening?
00:44So that would be you cried when Hugo left?
00:46I cried, not specifically...
00:48Look, I love Hugo as well.
00:49No, it was the elation and the mood in the round table
00:53when they knew that they'd done it.
00:55Yeah.
00:56Oh, it's just...
00:57Just absolutely amazing.
00:58Picture and a half for Celeb 2, wasn't it?
01:00Yeah.
01:02Couldn't do it.
01:03With ages a decade.
01:06First, we need to talk about the ceremonial dagger.
01:08The huge reveal at the end of the episode.
01:10Yes.
01:11This is a new thing for UK Traitors.
01:13The ceremonial dagger that gives you double vote privileges.
01:16How impactful do we think this ceremonial dagger
01:18is going to be at the next round table?
01:19Obviously, it all depends on who they give it to.
01:21Yeah.
01:22If they don't give it to Roxy, I think they've lost their minds.
01:24Really?
01:25Because she is absolutely drinking Stephen's Kool-Aid at the end.
01:27Yeah.
01:28I mean, Roxy would be the logical choice to go for.
01:30The second person's that would be Faraz.
01:31Yeah.
01:32He's another one who's not really pinned all that much onto Rachel
01:35or on Stephen.
01:36Actually, he's quite trusting of Rachel.
01:37Yes.
01:38But the other temptation would be, of course, to give themselves the dagger.
01:42But I guess the worry is, if you give it to yourself as a traitor,
01:46that I think whoever gets the ceremonial dagger
01:49will come under suspicion of being a traitor.
01:51Absolutely.
01:52They'll be like, just in case we should get rid of them.
01:54And so it's got to be someone that's on side with you right now.
01:56And that's why Roxy, we think, is perfect.
01:57Because it's on side with me right now.
01:59Well, Stephen slash Rachel right now.
02:01And I can throw something onto her later on.
02:03Yeah.
02:04It's fine.
02:05But we know she's already gunning for James.
02:06Yeah.
02:07Since her mum went.
02:08Yeah.
02:09It's enough to keep you ticking over,
02:10that you can then throw things away,
02:12as artfully as Rachel seems to throw everything in the way.
02:15What I'll be interested to see,
02:16is my temptation as a faithful,
02:18if I didn't have the ceremonial dagger,
02:20would be to try and unite people against whoever has the dagger,
02:24so their double vote means nothing.
02:26So vote for them.
02:27But you don't know when they're going to reveal it to them.
02:29Yeah.
02:30But if they all vote, and then Claudia goes,
02:32this person had the ceremonial dagger,
02:34so their vote counts for two.
02:35Yeah.
02:36Then all tactics are out the window, I think.
02:37Yeah.
02:38Oh my God.
02:39It's very exciting.
02:40Let's talk about Jessie's murder.
02:42I am personally gutted that Jessie is gone.
02:44Horrified.
02:45Loved her.
02:46She is amazing.
02:47Yeah.
02:48She's brilliant.
02:49Kaz, as a former faithful,
02:50do you see that murder as a mistake,
02:52Jessie's murder as a mistake from Stephen's perspective,
02:54or is it a double bluff you can expect?
02:56If you're thinking, with Traitor hat on,
02:57I think Jessie was the logical person to murder.
03:00And if you think you can get away with it and play that game.
03:02Yeah.
03:03And it is a risky strategy to do,
03:04but actually, they've done it.
03:06So, not only did Stephen escape the round table without a vote,
03:10Rachel also escaped the round table without a vote,
03:12but she didn't really keep a low profile.
03:15She decided to cause a bit of chaos over breakfast instead.
03:19Right.
03:20Well, I think I have the next one.
03:22And I'm not telling anybody.
03:26But I think somebody messed up last night
03:28and didn't realise they messed up.
03:30And I think I have them.
03:32To me, Rachel is doing some amazingly bold and wild plays,
03:37but she's not checking with Stephen at any point in the turret.
03:40She's not going,
03:41Tomorrow at breakfast, I'm going to say that I've got my eye on someone.
03:45And he's just watching it like he's watching the telly.
03:48She's just...
03:49He's watching like someone in a play
03:50who's watching their partner forget their lines.
03:53That's the look on his face.
03:54He's like, that's not the next bit.
03:56You don't know the bit.
03:57The man is bright red and sweating at every round table.
04:00No one's even looked at him.
04:01I don't understand what's going on.
04:03Chris, if you were playing as a faithful,
04:05who would you be watching most closely out of who's left, do you think?
04:08I would be suspicious of everyone at every moment
04:13while simultaneously being not suspicious of everyone at every moment.
04:18I've got no backbone when it comes to stuff like this.
04:20Well, no, I think you'd be better than you're giving yourself credit for.
04:23I think you'd really get into the game.
04:24And I think on the missions, you'd be the giddiest little boy.
04:27Were you, yes, because we've worked together.
04:29I think you'd be running around so excited by those missions.
04:31Imagine me pushing someone in that little wagon up the hill.
04:34I'd be absolutely buzzing.
04:36Playing with all the little puzzles.
04:38Come here, man, have you seen this?
04:39I'm stacking skulls.
04:41I would love that, to be fair.
04:43I would love to stack skulls, yeah.
04:45Speaking of missions, let's talk about this box mission in this episode.
04:50Absolutely brilliant mission.
04:51A jack-in-the-box was wonderful.
04:53Could give you so many clues, but also so camp and ridiculous.
04:56Yeah, it's just so out there.
04:58It felt like it should expose the traitors,
05:00but did it give the faithful anything useful, do you think?
05:03No, I think it was chaos.
05:06I think it was absolute chaos.
05:08And also, one of the questions was,
05:10who do the traitors think wouldn't make it to the final?
05:14Yeah.
05:15And instead of looking at what it meant as a group,
05:17they were looking at the fact that someone who they liked
05:20had picked them and taken it personally.
05:22Do you know what I mean?
05:23It was absolute chaos.
05:24I think if you think you could find a pattern from that,
05:27you're a psychopath.
05:28They're all just overthinking it so much.
05:30With every single play that seems to be happening in this series,
05:32we're seeing it as like,
05:33is it the most obvious thing?
05:34Is it not the most obvious thing?
05:35And everyone's like double guessing everything.
05:37Well, what I thought was amazing,
05:39and he's proved this a couple of times already actually,
05:41is Matthew has a photographic memory
05:44for how people vote for things.
05:45He's been asked a few times,
05:47who's voted for who at the round table.
05:48And he can go back four round tables and be like,
05:51she voted for him, he voted for her.
05:53And with this as well, he remembered who voted for everyone and everything.
05:55Brilliant.
05:56Well, okay then.
05:57He's a psychopath.
05:58Yeah.
05:59I think, well, yeah, apart from the insane memory,
06:03actually he was building up that kind of picture towards Steven.
06:06Yes.
06:07And it did seem like it was one of these things
06:08where Steven was, again, just going to go as a result of what he'd done.
06:11Because the logical thing as a traitor would be,
06:12I want to make as much money as I can.
06:14I also don't want to look like I know all the answers.
06:16Yeah.
06:17So I want to get one of them incorrect.
06:19What I liked about this mission is it's a version of the chessboard mission
06:23in previous series that you're answering questions
06:26and trying to get the same answers as the traitors.
06:28But in those missions, the traitors come up with the answers.
06:31They discuss them the night before in the turret.
06:33Here, the traitors had to do it on the fly.
06:35Climbing out of the box.
06:36Climbing out of the box, whispering.
06:38And so it takes a little bit more control away from them.
06:41And then they have to choose how they're going to answer
06:44based on how everyone else will see it.
06:46I think if people had been looking hard enough,
06:47they could have got some clues from that.
06:49For me, questions and all that aside,
06:51if you really wanted to know who were the traitors,
06:54all you had to do was, when they opened the box,
06:56look at how much Steven was hammering up,
06:58rubbing the eyes like a bear coming out of hibernation.
07:02It was, I've been in here ages.
07:04Never rub your eyes.
07:05It's daytime.
07:06It's also, it's the same thing when you take the blindfolds off
07:09after the traitor selection.
07:11People need to realise, if you're a traitor,
07:13humans don't rub their eyes like that.
07:15Yeah, yeah, yeah.
07:16Humans don't go, what?
07:19Our latest murdered and banished faithful,
07:21Jesse and Ellie, will be with us shortly.
07:23But first, let's see the moment they met
07:25after leaving the castle and finally discovered
07:27who the traitors really are.
07:33Why? Why?
07:35Oh my gosh!
07:41What the heck?
07:42Why?
07:43Right, no.
07:44I can't care.
07:45Are you okay?
07:47I'm okay.
07:48I'm okay.
07:49I'm okay.
07:50I'm at peace.
07:51Oh, Ellie!
07:52I know.
07:53I bet that I know who it is now.
07:59Mm.
08:00Who do you think the traitors are?
08:01Jade.
08:06Stephen, even though I...
08:07Do you know what?
08:08I'm really bored of saying his name.
08:10Roxy could be a traitor.
08:15I don't know.
08:16Ellie, I really trusted you.
08:19Yeah.
08:20I'm hoping you are a faithful.
08:25Tell me, what are you?
08:27Oh!
08:28Jesse, I don't want to disappoint you.
08:31I am...
08:33They're faithful.
08:37Oh!
08:38I knew it, I knew it.
08:39I can't believe they're banished yet.
08:41It was rude.
08:42It was rude of all of them.
08:43Who...
08:44Who do you think the traitors are then?
08:48I voted for Jade at my last round table.
08:52I could have got it wrong.
08:53Like, I am a bit worried.
08:55I've just done what I've done to her, to Sam.
08:57Yeah.
08:58But I'm still stuck on Jade.
09:00And then Stephen...
09:03Stephen, I was bearing him in mind
09:05after you pointed him out yesterday.
09:07And, you know, with the library thing,
09:10you know, I was like,
09:11oh, maybe Stephen has done this.
09:13And then, obviously, when Fiona was caught as a traitor,
09:16it was like, well, maybe that's case closed,
09:18and it was just Fiona.
09:19So, should we find out then?
09:21Oh!
09:22We've got to.
09:23I can't.
09:24I'm dying.
09:25I can't.
09:26I'm really excited.
09:27Oh, Ellie, I'm scared.
09:28Yeah.
09:29I'm scared.
09:30Go on.
09:31Go on, go on, go on.
09:32Rip the band-aid off.
09:33Are you ready?
09:34Yeah, yeah, yeah.
09:35Oh!
09:36God, OK.
09:37Right, OK.
09:42It's Stephen!
09:45It's Stephen!
09:46I knew when he hopped on that boat last night.
09:50I knew!
09:52From the beginning.
09:53Ellie!
09:54Oh, my God!
09:55Oh, God!
09:56I am not just a daft lass that wears yellow and orange.
09:59No-one trusted.
10:00Oh!
10:01You were right.
10:02You were on it.
10:03You were on it.
10:04He had the audacity to mend me.
10:07Oh!
10:08Get in!
10:09Right.
10:10Stephen, I actually can't take this.
10:12Rachel.
10:13Oh!
10:14Harriet!
10:15She was like, you were acting suspicious, Ellie.
10:17It was all a ruse.
10:18Harriet.
10:19It was all a ruse.
10:20Harriet.
10:21She was right.
10:22Harriet, I'm so sorry.
10:23Harriet!
10:24Harriet!
10:25I'm so sorry.
10:26Harriet!
10:27I just...
10:28When Harriet made her argument, it just didn't make quite enough sense.
10:45I'm so sorry, Harriet.
10:47Harriet.
10:48Rachel's played a really good game.
10:50Rachel's played a really good game.
10:52OK.
10:53Right, OK.
10:54Jessie, we've got another scroll to open.
10:56Let's go.
10:57I need to know.
11:03Oh!
11:04Secret relationships.
11:09Right.
11:10Oh!
11:11OK.
11:16Hang on.
11:17Hang on.
11:18Hang on.
11:19Hang on.
11:20Hang on.
11:22You and Ross are in a couple.
11:26I'm...
11:28Yeah, we are.
11:29Yeah, we've been together four and half years.
11:32I'm sorry.
11:33I can't be here anymore.
11:34I totally backed up your boyfriend.
11:37You did and that's why I love you so much.
11:40Team Ross!
11:41Team Ross!
11:42You are the best...
11:43You are the best couple ever.
11:45Oh!
11:46Jessie, I was so grateful to you.
11:49I was so grateful to you.
11:51I was like, because I didn't want to do too much,
11:54because I didn't want to give it away.
11:55And the fact that you backed him up straight from the get-go,
11:58I was like, thank you, Jessie.
12:02Oh, my gosh!
12:05Yeah? You are the best couple.
12:07Oh, my gosh, you are going to have beautiful babies.
12:15And Jessie and Ellie are with us now.
12:17Yay!
12:19Welcome.
12:21Welcome to Uncloaked, both of you.
12:23Jessie, if you could stay in your seat for Uncloaked,
12:25that would be great.
12:25That was whirlwind.
12:26I feel like I was getting immersion.
12:28I'm watching, like, oh, my God, you and Ross.
12:31That was wonderful.
12:31That was such a good clip.
12:33Let's start with you, Jessie.
12:35Obviously, very early on, you were on to Stephen.
12:37Yes.
12:38With the Library Five and the Cage theories.
12:40How does it feel to be proved right?
12:43I mean, I am pleased because I had Ross back it up.
12:50Yeah.
12:51And then he left, and I was like, right, it's just me now.
12:56And I was hoping people might hop on board,
13:01but no one did, really.
13:02And so completely ignoring you the way they did.
13:04Everyone was ignoring me.
13:05I was a massive ghost in that castle.
13:07I was irrelevant.
13:08But I was right.
13:09Woo-hoo!
13:10Not to us, as viewers, we're watching it going,
13:12someone listen to Jessie.
13:14Yeah.
13:15We need this to happen.
13:16It was hard, but I guess that's just how it is.
13:18That's how it is.
13:19I mean, you never shied away from voicing your suspicions
13:21about Stephen, especially back in episode four
13:24after Ross was banished.
13:25Let's have a look.
13:26Ross, mate, you were stitched up.
13:30It's Stephen.
13:32It's Stephen.
13:33It's Stephen.
13:34Are you all right?
13:38It was just like a split decision between him and Rhys.
13:40I just put my relationship with Rhys first.
13:43It just goes to show how wrong we can get it.
13:47And here they all come to chat a load of bollocks.
13:51Honestly, this is mad.
13:53That is one of my quotes of the series so far.
13:55Here they come to chat a load of bollocks.
13:57It's absolutely perfect.
14:00For me, it was like the Fiona thing really threw me off.
14:03Like, I was starting to get there with Stephen.
14:06And then when Fiona got banished and he cried at the table,
14:10I thought, for me, that was like,
14:12oh, he can't be a traitor too.
14:14You know, he's so upset.
14:16And like, it really, like, it took me backwards.
14:19I was like, no, no, he wasn't.
14:21I was like, it's lies.
14:22It's lies that I was, I was like, on, on him, blocked her out.
14:28I was like, right, she's gone.
14:28I was watching.
14:29And I was like, no, I do not trust you.
14:33Yeah.
14:33But the rest of the world does.
14:34So I don't know what to do here.
14:36But I didn't believe those tears.
14:38Stephen.
14:40I think that's like admirable gut feeling,
14:43because when Fiona went, not only did he cry,
14:46which is, you know, maybe something to suggest that he's faithful,
14:49but also that should have been the end of the library five theory,
14:53because Fiona was also in that room.
14:54So you go, she's the tracer who's in there.
14:57But the fact that you, I think you didn't say that, Jessie,
14:59you're like, well.
15:00I did wrap it up a bit.
15:01And I was like, right.
15:02Yeah, it is St. Him.
15:05And I did leave it.
15:07For a bit.
15:08And then you're straight back onto him.
15:09Yeah, I just couldn't.
15:11You were like a cold case detective.
15:12It just wouldn't.
15:13Keep going back.
15:13Yeah, I was just like, it just doesn't add up totally.
15:17And yeah, I'll just go back.
15:21Because that's all I have.
15:22I don't have much help.
15:24Yeah, she was right.
15:24Trust your gut.
15:26Did that influence you at all, Ellie?
15:27In terms of everything that Jessie had said
15:29and brought together to the round table the day before.
15:32Obviously, she was then murdered.
15:33Did that change your mindset at all the next day?
15:35Or was it just the case of next day, that's it?
15:37It was absolutely ticking away.
15:40And I think I had been listening to Jessie.
15:41But then I wanted to come with an idea
15:45and kind of show conviction around my own ideas.
15:48And so much to my mistake,
15:50like I kind of stuck with the things that I was going for
15:53and kind of shut out what you were saying a little bit,
15:57which is obviously to my great regret.
15:59Because you were right.
16:01It's fair.
16:02And like we know Halo Effect,
16:03if you like someone,
16:05you give them other positive characteristics.
16:06Like you think of them as more trustworthy.
16:08I think it helped that he built bonds with other players.
16:11Bloody snappy dresser as well.
16:13He looks great.
16:14So stylish.
16:15It's got to help, honestly.
16:16Yeah.
16:17Yeah.
16:17Do you think Matthew,
16:18when he was packing all his little jumpers
16:20and went,
16:20I'm going to look so great in there.
16:22And then he saw Stephen and he's going,
16:23oh, damn it.
16:24Damn.
16:25Yeah.
16:27So obviously you are a psychologist, Ellie.
16:28That was another one of your secrets
16:30while you were in the castle.
16:32Were you using that while you were in there?
16:34Were you psychoanalyzing people?
16:35Well, I've got a research background,
16:38so I was trying to think about
16:39all the theories that would apply,
16:42biases that you might have,
16:44like confirmation bias
16:45is a really classic one
16:46we see in the traitors, right?
16:47As soon as you decide
16:48that someone's a traitor,
16:49you then just find evidence
16:51to support your theory.
16:52I think that's absolutely
16:53what happened with me.
16:54For Sam,
16:55I was just like,
16:56everything he did,
16:57I was like,
16:57well, that's traitorous.
16:58Yeah.
16:58That's Shield.
17:00I was like,
17:01classic traitor, that.
17:02I bet it actually was traitorous to everyone.
17:04Yeah.
17:04To be fair,
17:05we know he's not a traitor
17:05watching the show.
17:06It seemed traitorous to me.
17:07Did it?
17:08Oh, yeah, completely, yeah.
17:09Yeah.
17:10We were like,
17:10this is dead dodgy, Sam,
17:11what are you doing?
17:12At least say it beforehand.
17:13If he done it more quietly
17:14and just got the shield
17:16and not announced it
17:18in front of everyone
17:18quite confidently,
17:19I think that was,
17:20it was a bit of a red flag.
17:21I just hadn't really
17:22doubted him at all.
17:24Well, you were right.
17:25I think I was just Stephen,
17:27total vision.
17:27But yeah,
17:28I didn't really think much of that.
17:29Jessie,
17:30you brought so much energy
17:31to the missions.
17:32Let's remind ourselves
17:33of how much you got into them.
17:34Please, please,
17:36we must win.
17:38Oh, no!
17:40Go, go, go!
17:42Go, go, go!
17:44Come on!
17:44Go, go, go!
17:48Come on!
17:48Go!
17:49Yes!
17:51Oh, no, this is a nightmare.
17:55Yes!
17:55When you met me earlier
18:07before we started filming,
18:08you seemed really excited
18:09to meet me.
18:10And then I thought,
18:11Jessie's excited
18:11for everything, though.
18:12I just love life.
18:14I just love life so much.
18:15It's amazing.
18:16This is a question
18:17for both of you.
18:18Which was your favourite mission
18:19that you got a chance to do?
18:20Picture mission.
18:22Recreating the pictures.
18:22Which one's that?
18:23Portraits, you know,
18:24with their...
18:24Oh, I love that.
18:25When Ross crudled me,
18:26I was like,
18:27yes, please, Ross.
18:29Sorry.
18:30No?
18:31Jessie, remember?
18:32Remember?
18:33Ellie loves me.
18:34It's fine.
18:35I'm not the secret traitor.
18:37Yeah, that was good.
18:40Yeah, it was really good.
18:41It just broke it up a bit,
18:42didn't it?
18:43It was a good laugh.
18:44This is what I love
18:44about the Traters,
18:45is it can be such a dark,
18:46intense show,
18:47but then the next thing you know,
18:49you're watching a man get milked.
18:50Jessie and Ellie,
18:53both of you played
18:53with a lot of heart,
18:55especially at the round table.
18:56It got quite emotional
18:57now and again.
18:58Let's have a little reminder
18:59of one of those instances.
19:01Walking in today
19:02and finding out
19:03that Jessie was murdered,
19:06it was actually quite hard.
19:08Oh, don't cry.
19:08Don't cry.
19:13Oh, I didn't want to cry.
19:14You're actually the person
19:16I probably feel
19:17second closest to
19:18after Jessie
19:19and I just wanted
19:20to spend time.
19:21Oh, Ellie.
19:25You don't know who to trust.
19:27You want to hang out
19:28with people.
19:30I just come in here
19:31and I was like,
19:31I'm going to talk
19:32to Jessie tomorrow
19:33and she's gone.
19:36Ellie, you said there
19:38that Jessie was the person
19:39you were planning
19:39to talk to that day.
19:41Me?
19:41Yeah.
19:41How did it feel
19:42losing that opportunity
19:43after Jessie was murdered?
19:45When you didn't walk
19:46into breakfast,
19:48I was just like,
19:49I was so depleted.
19:50I had nothing left to give.
19:52Oh.
19:53Because it was,
19:54at that point,
19:55I really,
19:56you were the only person
19:57who was pretty much
19:58a faithful to me
19:59and I just didn't really know
20:01who to turn to
20:02and I think that
20:03I spent that whole day
20:04just running around
20:05like a lost lamb
20:06trying to go to Rachel,
20:08I guess.
20:09Yeah.
20:09She's just like,
20:10wrong move,
20:10wrong move.
20:11It's like when you're
20:12on a night out
20:13with loads of friends
20:14and some friends
20:15of friends
20:15and your friends leave
20:16and you're left
20:17with the people
20:17you don't really want.
20:19That's basically
20:19what just happened to you.
20:22Now,
20:22Rachel admitted
20:23that she used
20:24a white lie.
20:25Was it a white lie?
20:27It was a lie.
20:28That's what she called it.
20:29White lie,
20:30in inverted commas,
20:31to flush out
20:32someone at breakfast
20:33and then came for you
20:34at the round table, Ellie.
20:35Were you expecting
20:36that at all?
20:37No.
20:38No, no, no.
20:39That really took me
20:39by surprise
20:40and I think
20:42that's probably
20:42what got me tearful
20:43is I just wasn't ready
20:45so I just
20:46didn't have time
20:47to steal myself.
20:48I was just like,
20:49what are you saying?
20:51Kaz,
20:52once a suspicion
20:52sticks in the game,
20:53is there anything
20:54a faithful can do
20:55to shake it off?
20:56If you find a way,
20:57please let me know.
20:59I don't think,
21:00I mean,
21:00it comes back to what
21:01you were saying
21:01before, Ellie,
21:01about confirmation bias
21:02because I was at a point
21:03where everything
21:05someone does then
21:05becomes traitorous.
21:07Is that idea,
21:07once someone suspects
21:08something of you,
21:09that's it.
21:09Well, of course,
21:10with you then we got to
21:11who would do a toast
21:12at breakfast,
21:12he must be a traitor
21:13and then we got to
21:14of course a doctor
21:15is going to be a traitor.
21:16Helping people in the day
21:17and killing people at night.
21:18That is what I do.
21:19That is ultimate
21:19confirmation bias,
21:20isn't it?
21:20Yeah.
21:21Jessie,
21:22this series we've had
21:23quite a few secret
21:23relationships
21:24and there is some chatter
21:26that you're in a secret
21:27relationship with
21:28someone in the castle.
21:29I don't know
21:29if you've heard this.
21:30There's been a couple.
21:32Well, some people
21:32are suggesting that
21:33either you're in a relationship
21:34with Jack
21:35or Jack's your brother
21:36which it's not both
21:38but...
21:38Well, I mean,
21:39you never know these days.
21:41No, we are not
21:43in a relationship
21:44and we are not related.
21:45Yeah, okay, good.
21:46We've cleared that up.
21:47We've cleared that up, guys.
21:48Now, Ellie,
21:49you dropped a huge bombshell
21:50when you revealed
21:51that you and Ross
21:52were a secret couple.
21:54Let's remind ourselves
21:55of your leaving speech
21:56and the revelation
21:57about you and Ross.
21:58I do have a confession
22:00I'd like to make
22:01before I go.
22:04I didn't come in here alone.
22:09I actually came in
22:10with my boyfriend.
22:14Ross.
22:17Get out of town.
22:19And look who it is
22:20back in the Uncloaked studio.
22:21It's Ross.
22:26Finally reunited.
22:28And it feels so good.
22:31How hard was it
22:32keeping that secret
22:33for both of you?
22:34And who found it harder,
22:35do you think?
22:36I definitely found it harder.
22:39Keeping the secret...
22:40Well, what did I do?
22:40I just stopped talking.
22:44That was the best way
22:44to keep the secret.
22:46Science.
22:47Yeah.
22:47I think I accidentally
22:48was too relaxed
22:49around the cheese thing.
22:51And I was like,
22:52oh, God.
22:53Don't look at me.
22:54Don't talk to me.
22:54And that's why I was like,
22:55traitor.
22:56Why are you turning away?
22:57Yeah, this is what
22:58we have to mention, Ellie,
23:00is that Ross thought
23:01you were a traitor.
23:02I know.
23:02When he left the game.
23:03Can you believe this?
23:05No, I didn't understand
23:06that that's what he was thinking,
23:08but he was really supportive,
23:09considering.
23:10100%.
23:10All for that, I thought.
23:11Yeah.
23:13Well, that's the dream scenario,
23:14isn't it?
23:14It's like,
23:14you're a faithful
23:15and you think your partner
23:16might be a traitor,
23:17someone might bring home
23:18that money.
23:19Exactly.
23:19That was our game plan going in.
23:21Yeah.
23:22Did you ever suspect Ross, Ellie?
23:24The only time I suspected you
23:26was at the traitor's pick,
23:27because you looked a little sweaty
23:28at that traitor's pick round table.
23:31And I thought,
23:31why is he so sweaty?
23:32It's so cold.
23:33Ellie, you should have known
23:34more than the public.
23:35Like, I'm a sweaty boy.
23:37Actually, as a viewer,
23:38it was the first thing
23:39I learned about you.
23:40This is what I'm saying.
23:41Competitive and I get sweaty
23:42and I become sweaty Ross.
23:44Guy knows his brand.
23:46At least he owes it.
23:47That's the important thing.
23:48That's it.
23:49Were you tempted at the round table
23:50just to be like,
23:51I've got to go over there
23:52and mop his brow.
23:52I've got to go over there.
23:55Nice to meet you.
23:56Get the sweat off.
23:58Did you sit down before the show
24:00and come up with
24:01how you were going to act
24:02around each other
24:03and set each other any rules,
24:04you know,
24:05no eye contact,
24:06that sort of stuff?
24:07Not too many
24:08because we knew
24:08that there were just going to be
24:09so many surprises thrown at us.
24:11We'd have to kind of react
24:12in the moment.
24:13I think our major plan
24:14was just to like,
24:15bond with different people
24:16in the game
24:17so that we could defend each other,
24:19you know,
24:19in different social groups.
24:21But we did have the
24:22I really like this person.
24:25Oh, yeah.
24:25When we were saying
24:26if like,
24:27and if someone was coming
24:28for one of us,
24:29we'd try and hint at it
24:30like subtly.
24:31Yeah.
24:32Would you?
24:32Yeah.
24:33Oh, I love this.
24:34I feel like
24:37Jessie was hinting
24:38at it more with Ross
24:39than you were at it.
24:40Ross is not a traitor,
24:42Steven.
24:42Because you may have
24:43had your girlfriend in there
24:45but Jessie was your protector.
24:46Oh, I meant Jessie.
24:48Jessie's a new family member.
24:50Yeah.
24:50Oh, that's so nice.
24:52Jessie,
24:52do you think
24:52if you'd known
24:53that Ross and Ellie
24:54were in a relationship,
24:55if it came out
24:55while they were both
24:56still in there,
24:57do you think
24:57it would have changed
24:58the way you voted
24:59or built alliances?
25:00No, because I just
25:02liked
25:04both of them
25:06anyway,
25:07trusted both of them.
25:09It would have probably
25:10helped us
25:11to kind of group up
25:12a little bit more.
25:13No, I don't think
25:14it would have changed
25:15because I just love
25:16both of you very much.
25:17Talk us through
25:18the Nettie situation
25:19and what that was like
25:20for both of you.
25:21Like, for me,
25:22I was just,
25:22my mind was spinning
25:24because it was obviously
25:25not part of the plan.
25:27I had never expected
25:29that twist
25:29for one of Ross's
25:31old friends
25:31to be in the game.
25:32So I was just like,
25:34oh my God,
25:35what's going on?
25:36Did you get a chance
25:37to talk about that
25:38privately?
25:39Like, semi-private.
25:41Like, Ross was able
25:42to talk to me
25:44while also talking
25:45to other people
25:45saying,
25:46oh, I've just seen
25:47my old friend
25:49and they're from
25:5015 years ago
25:51and they're a friend
25:52of this friend.
25:52Just a friend.
25:54I stopped
25:58playing the Traitor's
25:59game at that point
26:00and I was literally
26:01just playing
26:02we're going home
26:02after this.
26:04And so I know
26:06how I made myself
26:07look to the rest
26:08of the guys there
26:08but I was fighting
26:09for my life there
26:10because I was like,
26:10this is as innocent
26:12as it looks.
26:13Yeah, yeah.
26:13And so,
26:14didn't look.
26:16Didn't look innocent
26:17at all.
26:17Swear down.
26:18She was excited
26:19to see you.
26:19She was.
26:20She was.
26:20She was.
26:21But obviously
26:21we've spoken to Nettie
26:22and she was like,
26:22I don't know why
26:23I ran at him like that.
26:24I was just like,
26:25I guess you're so worried
26:26that's the first day
26:27and suddenly you see
26:28someone that you know
26:29you're going to
26:30immediately be like,
26:30oh my God,
26:31this is wild.
26:32But yeah.
26:32Fair play to you, man,
26:33because I would have
26:34messed up straight away.
26:35Oh, yeah.
26:36I would have literally went,
26:36no, no, no,
26:37that's me actual girlfriend.
26:39Honestly,
26:40put the cameras.
26:41That's me actual girlfriend.
26:42This is not what it looks like.
26:44How's it been,
26:45Ross,
26:45seeing Ellie carry on
26:46playing the game
26:47without you?
26:47Now you've seen the episodes.
26:49Really exciting.
26:50I think she's done really well.
26:51I was so shocked
26:52at how well you did
26:53in some of the challenges.
26:54And so,
26:55no, no, no, no,
26:55honestly,
26:56I've been watching as a fan
26:57and really impressed,
26:59actually,
26:59to be fair to you.
27:00So,
27:00just to clarify,
27:01you thought she was
27:02going to be really bad.
27:04Honestly, yeah.
27:04No, no, no,
27:05to be fair to you,
27:06yeah, yeah, yeah.
27:06Wow.
27:07That's where the shot comes from.
27:08Ellie, what do you think about that?
27:09Well, no,
27:09he's taking me
27:10to a few training sessions
27:11so he knows.
27:13This is not a real couple.
27:14These are actors.
27:15This is mad.
27:16This is mad.
27:17I'm trying me hardest.
27:18I think I know the answer to this.
27:20If you and Rosie
27:20were not a famous couple already
27:22and you went into the traitors
27:23and had to hide your relationship,
27:24do you think you'd be able to do it?
27:25Piece of piss.
27:28It would just be like,
27:29why do those random people
27:30hate each other?
27:34Well,
27:34that's it for part one,
27:36but the conversation continues
