00:00The arraignment of former Senator Bong Reveglia and six other accused in the non-bailable case of malversation of public funds has been deferred to February 9th, the Sandigan Bayan said early Friday, January 23rd.
00:14The former senator has filed motions, including a plea to dismiss the malversation charge, which have to be tackled by the anti-Graf Court's 3rd Division.
00:24Meanwhile, Reveglia's arraignment on his Graf case was also reset by the Sandigan Bayan's 4th Division on the same date as his malversation case, which was originally scheduled on Friday afternoon.
00:37During an arraignment, an accused either pleads guilty or not guilty to the charge.
00:42If an accused refuses to enter any plea, a plea of not guilty will be recorded.
00:46Reveglia voluntarily surrendered on an arrest warrant and is currently detained along with his co-accused at Napayatas Jail in Quezon City.
00:56They were charged with graft and malversation of public funds in the 92.8 million peso flood control project in Pandi, Bulacan.
