00:00Please open the chest, in three, two, one.
00:26Ralph Palme, are you sorry?
00:30Oh, my God!
00:34Jack, I'm in the name of Dave.
00:54Hello and welcome to the Traitor's Uncloaked grand finale.
00:57I'm Ed Gamble and I'm here at the BBC Radio Theatre with an amazing audience made up of Traitors and Faithful.
01:03So, what have we got coming up in this final episode?
01:09Claudia Winkleman can finally spill all on this incredible series of the Traitors.
01:15Chest of Chance victim James and finalist Jade reflect on going to battle at the round table, the ceremonial dagger and surviving suspicion.
01:21Finalists Faraz and Jack talk us through that nail-biting endgame.
01:25And our historic winners Rachel and Stephen will be joining us for their first ever interviews.
01:31Make sure you're sitting comfortably because this is the Traitors Uncloaked grand finale.
01:35We'll be bringing on the players shortly, but before that I'm thrilled to once again introduce the truly incredible Claudia Winkleman!
01:49Welcome.
01:51Thank you so much for having me.
01:53Welcome, Claudia.
01:54I just love seeing everybody look.
01:56No.
01:57Look how smart they look.
01:58Look how gorgeous.
01:59Very gorgeous.
02:00All alive, crucially.
02:01They're all alive.
02:02Yes, vital.
02:03Very nice.
02:04Thank you for joining us again from Uncloaked, Claudia.
02:06An amazing final episode.
02:08What was it like watching it all back?
02:10Emotional, because I was watching with the entire cast, and I believe that none of you knew the outcome.
02:19So it was really thrilling, then everyone standing up at the end.
02:23It's emotional.
02:24I mean, you can see when I do it, I get a bit too in.
02:28You are invested.
02:29I cried before Rachel and Stephen.
02:33It was weird.
02:34A lot of tears at the end there.
02:36Is that very happy to see them win, but also it's that sort of tension that's been built up across the whole game?
02:41Absolutely.
02:42And you really didn't know which way it was going to go.
02:46I mean, just listening to Stephen breathing at that endgame, I was like, oh my goodness.
02:52And so just the relief.
02:54And they were so happy.
02:55And I found their end and their love for each other incredibly moving.
03:01Why do you think they were able to make it to the end together?
03:04What do you think that was special about them?
03:06I think that, I mean, the entire cast, I'm not just saying this because you're sitting opposite me, were utterly magnificent.
03:15And what I loved about Rachel and Stephen, from the very beginning, you can almost watch it back knowing what you know now.
03:23They just looked after each other without being obvious, without going, no, no, no, they're fine.
03:27If something came into play, she was like, all right, I'm just going to do this to look after him.
03:31And he would do the same for her.
03:33And they made that alliance.
03:34And we've never seen that before.
03:35Lots of people make alliances and they last, you know, an episode, five minutes.
03:40But they decided, and not Romeo and Juliet, because that ended badly, but Bonnie and Clyde, I don't know, but they were lovers in the turret.
03:52And they stuck together.
03:54Claudia, I think they edited a lot of that out, actually.
03:58You know what I mean.
04:00I know you mean.
04:01You know, it was, it was, they were totally faithful to each other.
04:05And of course, we have to talk about the big twist for this series, the secret traitor.
04:10Yes.
04:11Why did you think Fiona would fit that role particularly?
04:13I mean, how can we not?
04:15Look at her.
04:16Well, I mean, Fiona was so convincing about how people treat women of a certain age, and she was so twinkly.
04:27I just wanted to put her in my pocket.
04:29I absolutely loved her.
04:30So, yeah, we had to give her the red cloak.
04:32So, of course, we had a lot of amazing faithfuls this series as well.
04:35Amazing.
04:36One in particular was Jessie, who was on to Stephen and would not let go of the Stephen theory.
04:42How did it feel at those round tables when Jessie was going after Stephen?
04:46Well, it's extraordinary.
04:47My, not my favourite, but always, I love a Maddie.
04:50I love a Jazz.
04:51I love a Jessie, who knew, I knew really early.
04:55And there was a brilliant moment when everybody's talking and Jessie goes off in, I think, into the dining room going,
05:02listen to them, wanging on, nobody's listening to me.
05:06Not quite like that, you use better words.
05:08Yeah.
05:09It was extraordinary.
05:11She laid it out, the Library Five.
05:13She just laid, it was all there, and everybody went, aww.
05:16And they love you.
05:17And they did love you.
05:19And you were, they adored you.
05:22And they would go, oh, thank you, Jessie.
05:24No, I think it's probably somebody else.
05:26And I was like, she's got it.
05:28You are, you are the series detective, I think.
05:31Am I?
05:32Yeah, I think so.
05:33Yay!
05:35Apologies, Amanda.
05:37I'm the new detective.
05:38Oh, no, yeah, well, you're one of the only people who's not actually a police person.
05:41Yes.
05:42Yes, no, no.
05:44We've been doing, because obviously we've had Jazz of the Christie in the past.
05:47Jazz of the Christie?
05:48So we've been trying to think of one for you.
05:49What can my name be?
05:50You're thinking Jessica Fletcher?
05:51Jessica Fletcher.
05:52Oh, okay.
05:53We're happy with that?
05:54Good.
05:55Woo!
05:56Love that.
05:57Harriet also extraordinary.
05:58Yeah.
05:59I mean, unbelievable.
06:00Yeah, I mean, yeah.
06:01Yeah, there's been, there's been people vying for that, for that title.
06:04I mean, a huge amount of drama with Harriet in the talk to the traitors.
06:08It was the greatest, I think it was my favourite moment ever.
06:12And I am in the castle and I'm lucky enough that I have a monitor, which I don't leave.
06:17I just, like, eating everything, just staring at it.
06:20And you were talking to the traitors and I had to do something early the next morning
06:25and it was quite late, as you know.
06:26And they said, Claudia, you've got to go home.
06:28And I was like, do not even say that to me.
06:31And when you used the word compunction, oh.
06:35It was almost erotic, Harriet.
06:38And just the fact that you knew, you knew with Hugo as well.
06:42You were so brilliant.
06:44And then that breakfast, yeah, you were magnificent.
06:48Well, as always, Claudia, it's been an absolute delight watching you on the show.
06:55And we know you don't like this bit.
06:57I can't bear it.
06:58But it's the unclosed finale, so we have to have a look at your best bit.
07:06Are they on their way?
07:08Good.
07:09Keep an eye on them.
07:11One thousand pounds added to the pot.
07:17And Sam might die.
07:19Harsh but true.
07:22Sorry.
07:23Don't mind my friends.
07:24They don't bite.
07:26If they're fed.
07:28Oh!
07:29No thank you.
07:30No thank you.
07:31I mean, we've all had childcare days right now.
07:33Stop the murder!
07:34They're like a police officer.
07:37I know friendships have been formed.
07:41But please remember, a friend might be lying to you.
07:45A friend might be planning to murder you.
07:50Get dry.
07:51For goodness sake, have a biscuit.
07:53Just when they think they know how to play.
07:57Bring it to me!
08:00Oh, God.
08:01Sorry.
08:03Faithful, what are you thinking?
08:06I am genuinely speechless.
08:09Oh, my God!
08:16Ha-ha!
08:18I'm going to go and chop some cheese with it.
08:23We'll be talking to our endgame players very soon,
08:28but I'm thrilled to now welcome to the stage,
08:30James and finalist, James!
08:32Yay!
08:36Welcome.
08:37Welcome to Uncloaked.
08:38Both of you are very excited to have you here with us.
08:40Uh, but James, you were particularly forthright
08:42in your suspicions throughout.
08:44So, let's have a look at the moment when you and Roxy
08:46finally found out who the traitors were.
08:49I think I might be in for a little bit of a shock,
09:04but I have to ask, what are you, James?
09:08So you're assuming I'm...
09:09A traitor.
09:10OK.
09:11Absolutely.
09:12So, I'm happy to confirm for you that I am...
09:15A...
09:17Traitful.
09:18Graceful.
09:19Grateful.
09:21Vengeful.
09:23Spiteful.
09:24Cheerful.
09:25Faithful.
09:26Oh, my gosh!
09:27I'm not faithful!
09:29I'm the worst faithful in the land at this point.
09:31Me and you were just going at that.
09:32I even said, like, there's a chunk of me
09:34that thinks me and you are just passionate faithfuls.
09:36We were!
09:37Seeing as you're not a traitor.
09:39I'm sorry.
09:40Who do you think they are?
09:41I think Rachel is.
09:42She's my number one.
09:43OK.
09:44I'm fearing there's two.
09:46I think Faraz is the other one.
09:48Ooh.
09:49And if there's a third, which would be ridiculous,
09:51Stephen.
09:53Really?
09:54So you think Jack and Jade are 100% faithful?
09:55I just can't see it.
09:56Shall we find out?
09:57Yeah, let's do it.
09:58Some blind faithfuls.
09:59I don't even want to know now.
10:01This is horrendous.
10:02Here we go.
10:03Here we go.
10:04Stephen.
10:05Oh, my goodness!
10:06The little...
10:07Honestly, that's mental!
10:08Isn't that another one?
10:09Ah!
10:10It's Rachel!
10:11Yes!
10:12Oh!
10:13Oh, wow.
10:14She's toast.
10:15She nearly went, Faraz.
10:16Wow, he wasn't.
10:17Oh, no.
10:18This is so mental.
10:19I am so sorry for coming at you so hard.
10:20Please don't be sorry.
10:21It kept me in the game and it probably kept you in the game.
10:22Incredible.
10:23And you can watch Roxy and James' reactions later in full on the BBC Sounds socials.
10:27Now, James.
10:28Hello, sir.
10:29Hello, sir.
10:30You named both of the remaining traitors there as your suspicions.
10:32At what point did you suspect Rachel?
10:33Because I think you did have some suspicions before you left as well, of course.
10:34Yeah, slightly earlier than I laid out there, to be honest.
10:35It's...
10:44I think she likes me.
10:45I think she likes me.
10:46James. Hello, sir.
10:47You named both of the remaining traitors there
10:50as your suspicions.
10:51At what point did you suspect Rachel?
10:54Because I think you did have some suspicions
10:55before you left as well, of course.
10:56Yeah, slightly earlier than I laid out there, to be honest.
11:00I think she likes me.
11:01I think she gets on with me, you know, the classic blinded by that.
11:04And I think she knows I trust her, but I don't.
11:06You know, it was just too many scrapes.
11:07I thought, if I somehow get anyone in the endgame,
11:10I can't end it with her.
11:11And it was narrowing it down who you can end it with.
11:13Yeah.
11:14There weren't many.
11:15This young lady and Jack were the only two
11:16I could be as sure as I could be on
11:18from about halfway through onwards.
11:20So, I mean, you're pretty bang on the money, really.
11:23But slightly too late.
11:24I find if you name every cast member at least once...
11:26James. What?
11:30James, I think everyone would agree
11:31you were a total force of nature in there.
11:34You're incredible.
11:34Every episode delivering something entertaining.
11:37And obviously ended it in fittingly dramatic style
11:39with the chest of chance.
11:41The second chest of chance of the series.
11:42The third chest of chance in two series of The Traitors.
11:46Talk us through your final moments in the game with those chests.
11:49I mean, it sounds bizarre, but as a fanboy,
11:52I'm like, how have I got here?
11:53Traitor versus Faithful to get into the final.
11:56This is like the stuff of dreams.
11:57Like, how has this happened?
11:58Now, Jade, you initially voted for James
12:01in that final roundtable that he was there for.
12:04And then you switched your vote to Rachel.
12:06Why did you do that?
12:07Because she's smart.
12:11James' arguments were just not...
12:13It was just making me more confused.
12:16And then I was like, right, take a step back.
12:19Who should I actually be voting for here?
12:20Who did I walk into the room with?
12:22And it was Rachel.
12:23So I was like, this is an opportunity to rectify that wrong.
12:25Claudia, that's another third chest of chance,
12:27like I say, that we've had in two series.
12:29I can't.
12:29I can't even.
12:31I don't know what to say about it.
12:32Because I...
12:33Yeah, I come in with a tray,
12:36which, by the way, is much heavier than it looks.
12:39So I'm like, hello.
12:42Yeah.
12:43But it's incredibly dramatic for everybody.
12:45And I think the final plea is a really good opportunity.
12:50Both you and Rachel did it brilliantly.
12:52And then the idea that two of you swapped,
12:54and then there was still bedlock.
12:55Oh, it was amazing.
12:56Yeah, both me and Jack swapping,
12:58and then it was like, oh, no, we've both done it.
13:00Yeah.
13:00What do we do now?
13:01There have been a lot of theories going.
13:03I can tell from how they pick it up.
13:04Oh, he's got the...
13:05You can't.
13:06You can't.
13:06Absolutely not.
13:08James, you were absolutely convinced throughout the series
13:10that Matthew was a traitor.
13:12I still am.
13:13Even going...
13:14He's trick production, I'm telling you.
13:16He's such a smooth operator, that guy.
13:17He tried his best.
13:18He's amazing.
13:19He really wanted to be one.
13:20What were the biggest clues for you that Matthew was a traitor?
13:23I've never played poker to an amazing level,
13:25but I used to earn a living doing it for a while.
13:26And the first few seconds, the blindfold comes off.
13:29I was a bit cheesed off.
13:31It wasn't...
13:31I was doing that when Claudia walked behind me the whole time.
13:33That's all right.
13:33I forgive you.
13:36And everyone else was doing that.
13:38Obviously, I know a lot of them are acting.
13:39And Matthew was just stood like that.
13:41It looked like a deer in the headlights for a few seconds.
13:43And I did ask him,
13:44I thought you looked quite stunned,
13:45and he didn't really have an answer to it.
13:47And he's a really smart guy.
13:48I thought, this guy can carry it off.
13:50He turns on the style at the round tables.
13:51He hides in the shadows a bit.
13:53I'm the only one shouting his name.
13:54I must be keeping him in.
13:55I've solved it.
13:56No.
13:57I'll let you know.
13:58Matthew, what was it like in your final day in the castle,
14:01knowing that James had his sights set on you,
14:03and of course, he had the ceremonial dagger?
14:04Love you, mate.
14:05Yeah.
14:06You have to have hope,
14:08because anything can happen.
14:10But I did feel like the odds were stacked against me.
14:12I do regret not making it plainly obvious
14:16at that last round table
14:16that I didn't think you were a traitor.
14:19Because I didn't.
14:20I just did not believe you were a traitor.
14:21No, no.
14:21Yeah.
14:22You thought I was, though.
14:23Yeah.
14:24Right.
14:25Yeah.
14:26Hi.
14:26My family are very disappointed in me.
14:31It's feeling a lot more like an American chap show this week.
14:34Oh, yeah, yeah.
14:35You guys.
14:36But I just want to say this on behalf of...
14:39It's impossible if you don't know.
14:41Yeah, yeah.
14:42And it's so easy when you're watching the telly, and you do.
14:45Jade, after James' departure following the chest of chance,
14:48you were confirmed as one of the final five.
14:50However, despite battling players' suspicions
14:52since the very first round table,
14:54they finally acted on them in this final episode.
14:57Let's take a look at the moment
14:58where you found out the identity of the traitors
15:00shortly after leaving the game.
15:06I did see it coming.
15:08I said I was being set up for banishment for a while now,
15:10so it did catch me off guard
15:12that it would happen so close to the final.
15:14You do start picturing
15:16who you're going to stand at that bonfire with,
15:18and I think when you start kind of picturing it in your head,
15:20you're manifesting it quite a lot.
15:22So, it was so close,
15:25and, yeah, so far at the same time.
15:28I think there are two traitors left in the castle,
15:31and I think one of them is Faraz.
15:34Throughout the kind of whole of the game,
15:36I had to kind of take advantage of the situation
15:38that I was put in
15:39and see who was really pushing me for banishment.
15:42And Faraz, I feel like that roundtable
15:44was kind of desperate to get me banished.
15:47Like, everything that had been worked up at this point
15:49was suddenly kind of paying off.
15:52And I feel Rachel played a really instrumental role in that
15:55because, you know, Jack, Steve, and I
15:56are a little trio, in a sense.
15:59So, they've got to be working together, I think.
16:02After everything the traitors have put me through,
16:04I cannot wait to find out who they are.
16:06Rachel, yeah.
16:20It's difficult.
16:21Yeah, that.
16:23I mean, I said it, didn't I?
16:27I'm glad I was right about one thing.
16:29That's really gratifying to be in that situation.
16:31Stephen, OK.
16:40The thing is, right, when someone's that close to you,
16:43you don't look at it for what it is.
16:45And having walked out of that roundtable
16:47and seeing how he voted for me,
16:49it would have been too late to recognise who that person was.
16:52Damn.
16:53Stephen's playing a phenomenal game.
16:57100%.
16:58Yeah.
16:59I've lost words, really.
17:03And Stephen, he had me in his back pocket.
17:10Yeah.
17:11Yeah.
17:13Stephen, Stephen had you in his back pocket.
17:15Yeah.
17:15It's one of the benefits of wearing such massive trousers.
17:17I know.
17:18I'm a big person.
17:20A lot to unpack there from that reveal.
17:23Let's start with Rachel.
17:24You were suspicious of her
17:25and thought she and Faraz were playing as a traitor team.
17:28Had you had suspicions of Rachel earlier in the game
17:30or did the thoughts form a little bit later on?
17:32It was pretty early.
17:33There was a conversation that I'd had
17:34with Sam and Rachel in the kitchen
17:36where I, you know, told them about
17:38what had happened on the chariot mission.
17:40And that information got round so fast.
17:46Yeah.
17:46And I was like, well, Sam was in a unique situation like I was.
17:52Rachel was the only other person in that room.
17:54And I was like, that's a little red flag.
17:56So it started then.
17:57And then, you know, Amanda and the policing training
18:02just kept being brought up regardless.
18:04And I was like, well, you're pushing a narrative
18:06and she's banished from the cast
18:07and you're still bringing up Amanda's name.
18:10So, yeah.
18:11And the Stephen reveal,
18:13you mentioned that you, Stephen and Jack
18:15had been a bit of a trio.
18:16How did it feel seeing Stephen's name on the scroll?
18:20I think after he'd written my name down
18:23at the round table, the pin dropped.
18:26And you don't quite realise how blind you are
18:29because I felt quite vulnerable going through the game
18:32because I'd had so much heat.
18:33And it was really important for me,
18:34especially to have backing,
18:36people that I feel would have my back.
18:38And Stephen was just one of them.
18:40And then, yeah, when he put my name down,
18:41it was, oh, OK, right.
18:44You see the game in the moment, don't you?
18:45You see the game.
18:46You see literally how it's all played out.
18:48But then it's too late by then
18:50because you're going out the door.
18:51Of course.
18:51Now, one of the major theories around you being a traitor
18:54was that Amanda thought you were a traitor
18:56and Amanda was in the police force.
18:58Yeah.
18:59Amanda, how does it feel watching it back
19:02knowing that you were part of the game
19:04long after you left?
19:05I didn't realise I was going to be such a part of it
19:10when I was actually not in the castle.
19:12I just want to say, Jade, I apologise.
19:15We've apologised.
19:15I've apologised over beers.
19:17But I just want to apologise and say
19:19you played an absolute blinder all the way through
19:22and you just kept going.
19:24So, well done to you.
19:26Well done to you.
19:26Great.
19:32James and Jade,
19:33it's been an absolute pleasure speaking with you.
19:34Everyone give it up for finalist James.
19:38Thank you, my God.
19:39Thank you, James.
19:42James, shortly,
19:44I'm going to ask you to join our front row of traitfuls
19:47as they will now be known forevermore.
19:49Good man.
19:50Now, Rachel and Stephen will be joining us very shortly
19:52for their very first post-win interview.
19:55But first, I'll be having a chat
19:56with our runners-up, Jack and Faraz.
19:58Here is the moment where they both found out
20:00the identities of the traitors
20:01just moments after leaving the endgame.
20:03Rachel, grandma's doing me.
20:14Grandma's doing me.
20:17Oh, no.
20:18Oh, no.
20:20Here we go.
20:22Here we go.
20:26Rachel.
20:26And Stephen.
20:31Whoa.
20:33Rachel, Stephen?
20:34I knew it.
20:36After...
20:36Oh!
20:38Oh!
20:39At least I got one right.
20:42I got...
20:42I got one out of four.
20:44They obviously had a tactic,
20:47they had a strategy,
20:49and they executed it with perfection
20:51because they've won.
20:52Stephen definitely played a smart game.
20:54So I was on to Stephen
20:56when he came back into the Maz as well.
20:59Oh, mate,
21:00I actually am not bad at this game then,
21:02to be fair.
21:03I just need to stop changing my mind.
21:05It is nice to know
21:06I was the last remaining faithful in the game.
21:10And
21:10I can lead this game
21:13with my head held high
21:14knowing that I played with integrity,
21:18honesty,
21:19and I was just myself.
21:21Rachel and Stephen have defoed
21:22took the coin home and split it.
21:24Yeah, I feel sorry for Jack.
21:26I think he'll be absolutely gutted.
21:28But, yeah,
21:28Rachel and Stephen,
21:29to be fair to him,
21:30especially Rachel,
21:31I feel like she deserves it,
21:32the game she's played.
21:37A huge round of applause, please,
21:38for Strixie's finalist,
21:40Faraz and Jack!
21:44Welcome.
21:45Welcome, both of you,
21:46so I'm close.
21:47Faraz,
21:48let's start with you.
21:49Talk us through that final day in the game.
21:51How were you feeling?
21:52The final day was honestly a blur.
21:54Like, I think I was just buzzing to be there,
21:55to be honest.
21:56And then, obviously,
21:57breakfast,
21:57just stuck my face in that,
21:59ridding myself for the day.
22:00But, no, honestly,
22:02it was just,
22:02it was just an unreal feeling,
22:04just making it.
22:05There's so many shots of you
22:06just absolutely wolfing down foodies.
22:07I'm a growing lad, aren't I?
22:09I'm a growing lad.
22:10I need,
22:10I need my five a day.
22:11It was my mission.
22:12That was my mission.
22:13It's not the missions in the day.
22:14It was getting the foodies.
22:15You know,
22:15five a day relates to fruit and vegetables
22:16and not full meals.
22:17Yeah.
22:18Five plates.
22:20Jack, what about you?
22:21Same question.
22:21What was your plan for that final day?
22:23It's so hard, isn't it?
22:24Like, when you come into the final day,
22:25like,
22:25we're all looking forward to the mission.
22:27I was absolutely buzzing for the mission,
22:28but your head is just so mangled
22:30at that point.
22:31And I know,
22:32as the viewers,
22:32you sit there,
22:33you think,
22:33oh, it's so easy,
22:34it's so obvious,
22:34but my head was a total mess
22:36about who to vote for.
22:37You know,
22:38it's so hard coming
22:39to that last round table.
22:41I bet.
22:41Yeah.
22:41What about you, Jade?
22:42Because obviously,
22:43you're going into that final day.
22:44Are you worried that you're going to go
22:45before the end game?
22:46Could you see the right?
22:47I was set up for banishment.
22:48My days were so limited.
22:50I made my peace with it
22:51very early on,
22:52and I was like,
22:53I will not go gently into that night.
22:56But, yeah,
22:57I mean,
22:58I'm amazed I got as far as I did,
22:59to be honest,
23:00but I knew it was just
23:00an hour of time.
23:02Faraz,
23:02now,
23:02you've also been dubbed
23:03as a bit of a detective
23:04this series.
23:05Faraz Arthur Christie's
23:06been flying around.
23:07Oh, yeah,
23:07I saw that.
23:08Long laugh, didn't he?
23:10Well, you went for Rachel.
23:11I think we were all,
23:12it was limbs in my house.
23:13We were so excited.
23:14He's going to get Rachel.
23:16And then,
23:17you sort of
23:17had a little bit of a nap
23:18and changed your mind.
23:20Yeah.
23:21Sounds about right.
23:22What was it
23:22that made your suspicions wane?
23:24I think it was just
23:25the way she reacted.
23:26Yeah.
23:26To me,
23:27as soon as the round table,
23:28like,
23:28she was so calm
23:29and I resonated with the fact
23:30that if you were to stand up there
23:32as a faithful,
23:33you want to just rub it in the face,
23:34sort of as a last hurrah.
23:35And that's exactly
23:36how I would have felt.
23:37So I think it was just that.
23:38And I was like,
23:39yeah,
23:40that's like,
23:41obviously as a faithful,
23:42knowing why I am,
23:42I thought that that's it,
23:44that it probably,
23:46she's not a traitor
23:46in that sort of respect.
23:48I guess you're,
23:49it's so difficult,
23:50isn't it?
23:50Yeah.
23:51You decide one thing
23:52and then probably so easily
23:54convince in the other direction
23:55because you simply don't know.
23:56That's what it is.
23:56Like,
23:57when you're in the castle,
23:58when you're playing the game,
23:59things change,
23:59like,
24:00in a matter of moments
24:00and you can't really anticipate
24:02where things are going to go.
24:03And to be fair to her,
24:04she was,
24:05like,
24:05really convincing and stuff.
24:06And she was smart,
24:07she was calculating,
24:08she knew what she was doing.
24:09Yeah.
24:10So, yeah.
24:10And she was organised.
24:11I mean,
24:12if you've now seen
24:13the Rachel and Stephen
24:15plotting pre-endgame,
24:16they were organised,
24:17they knew what they were doing.
24:18Do you think there's anything
24:19that you two could have done
24:21to stop them pre-endgame?
24:23I think we probably
24:24could have had a few more chats,
24:25couldn't we,
24:26and just sort of
24:26had that plan in place.
24:28Like,
24:28I said that plan to you,
24:29I didn't even follow up myself,
24:30so I don't know.
24:33We've been over it
24:34a hundred times,
24:34haven't we?
24:35It's endlessly frustrating.
24:36And you go over and over,
24:37but I think the reality is,
24:39like,
24:39particularly in that
24:40very last round table
24:42or the end game,
24:43I was sort of
24:43set on Rachel,
24:44Fraz was set on Stephen,
24:45and we were both
24:46going for traitors,
24:47but just two different traitors.
24:48Yeah.
24:48I think we just weren't
24:49voting together.
24:50I think that was the thing,
24:51wasn't it?
24:51I think it's hard to accept
24:52the fact that we were
24:53both right and both wrong.
24:54I know,
24:54yes, true.
24:55Well, you were very
24:55won over by Fraz, Jack.
24:57You seemed to be
24:58siding with him.
24:59Why did you choose him
25:00over Rachel?
25:01I just,
25:02I think Fraz and I
25:03had a little,
25:03like,
25:03bro bond on day one.
25:05Like, yeah.
25:06On day one,
25:07like,
25:07we sat next to each other
25:08on the train,
25:09we just clicked straight away,
25:10and I just,
25:11he was one of those people,
25:11I had a little book
25:12and I wrote who I thought
25:13was, like,
25:14faithful,
25:14who I thought was traitors,
25:14and I put a percentage on it,
25:15and Fraz was pretty much
25:16always 100% faithful
25:18for me the whole way through.
25:19At the very end,
25:20there was that small slither
25:21of doubt,
25:22but, like,
25:22as there is for all the players,
25:24you know what I mean?
25:24But it was just,
25:26it was so hard at the end,
25:28and I think as well,
25:29ironically,
25:30Stephen was someone I had
25:31as almost the whole way
25:32through 100% faithful.
25:33It was only at the very end
25:34that I started to look at him,
25:35which is crazy,
25:36considering all the evidence
25:37that was put against him
25:37throughout the game,
25:38but it just goes to show,
25:39doesn't it?
25:40It's such a hard game.
25:41Well, look,
25:42you are all fantastic players.
25:43We loved watching you.
25:44A massive round of applause
25:45for Fraz, Jack, and Jay!
25:48Well, the time has come
25:53to finally hear
25:54from our winners,
25:55Rachel and Stephen.
25:56Here's the moment
25:57the traitors seized
25:58their historic win.
26:00I'll be honest,
26:01I had moments
26:02where I was doubting
26:03what I was going to do tonight,
26:05but I couldn't go back
26:10on my word to you.
26:11It just wasn't worth the money,
26:12and I couldn't have walked out of here
26:14by lying to you.
26:16Two traitors,
26:17but totally faithful
26:19to each other.
26:21You did it.
26:22You absolutely did it.
26:24Congratulations.
26:25I'm so proud of you, honestly.
26:26I'm very proud of you.
26:27I'm so proud of you.
26:29Aw.
26:30Aw.
26:35Incredible.
26:37I'll be honest.
26:38I'll be honest.
26:38I'll be honest.
26:39Woo!
26:43Welcome.
26:43Welcome to Uncloat,
26:44both of you.
26:45Congratulations.
26:46Thank you very much.
26:46Our two traitor champions.
26:48You were both incredible
26:49throughout the game.
26:50I want a quick reflection
26:51from both of you.
26:51How does it feel
26:52watching that back?
26:53Rachel, you first of all.
26:55A lot more emotional
26:56than I remember.
26:57I don't think I was
26:58letting my nerves
26:59shine through
27:00because I knew
27:01what I was going to do,
27:02but I was so nervous
27:03with Stephen,
27:04so watching it back,
27:05it kind of,
27:05it got me a little bit,
27:07made me cry.
27:08Nervous that he was going
27:08to change his mind.
27:11Nervous that I wasn't
27:12going to change his mind.
27:13Yeah, I don't know
27:14what goes on
27:14on that little head of his.
27:16You don't want to.
27:18What about you, Stephen?
27:19How does it feel
27:19watching it back?
27:21Unlike Rachel,
27:22I didn't know
27:22what I was going to do.
27:24And watching it back,
27:26I mean,
27:28I think I can see
27:29in my face,
27:30I've got quite
27:31an expressive face
27:32as I think
27:33you might have
27:35picked up on already.
27:37You know,
27:38you're just a meme generator now.
27:39Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
27:40Every emotion possible.
27:42See,
27:43I never knew
27:43I had an expressive face,
27:44so this is news to me.
27:46And what face
27:47did you make
27:47when you found out?
27:53But,
27:53yeah,
27:54I think just watching it back,
27:55you know,
27:57I'm just so,
27:57so proud of the decision
27:59that I made,
28:00proud of myself,
28:01and just proud of the game
28:02that Rachel played as well.
28:03I think
28:04it couldn't really
28:04go any better, so.
28:06Well, let's talk about
28:07the pact,
28:07the pact that you made
28:08by the family tree
28:09that you wouldn't write
28:10each other's names down
28:11on the slate.
28:12I will hold my hands up
28:13and apologise
28:14to every single episode
28:15of Uncloaked.
28:15When the pact comes up,
28:16I say,
28:17the pact's worth nothing.
28:18We know.
28:19We know.
28:20We were watching
28:21and I couldn't wait
28:22for this moment.
28:25To be fair to me,
28:26history told me
28:27that the pact would not stick.
28:28No one has ever stuck
28:29to a pact like that.
28:30Even the people
28:31making the pact
28:31know that they're not
28:32going to stick to it.
28:33So both of you
28:34in that moment,
28:34when you made it,
28:35you thought,
28:35we're absolutely
28:36sticking to it.
28:37I knew from the minute
28:39it came out of my mouth
28:40I wouldn't break it.
28:41I knew that
28:42and I just thought,
28:42you have to think
28:43really fast in this game
28:44and you have to
28:45kind of navigate
28:46and go with the flow.
28:47And I just thought
28:48at that moment,
28:49no, this is a new game
28:49for me
28:50and I'm not breaking that.
28:51Yeah, that's not
28:53what I was thinking.
28:58It's so hard
28:59to trust someone
29:00in there
29:00whose job it is
29:02to lie, you know?
29:04And so, yeah,
29:06I was really struggling
29:07to see how Rachel
29:08could hold on
29:09to that pact
29:09for the whole game,
29:11which is why
29:12towards the end,
29:13like, I was wobbling
29:15big time.
29:15And I'm just so glad
29:18that she's a woman
29:19of her word.
29:20Well, you both had
29:21a lot of stuff
29:21to deal with
29:22throughout the whole game.
29:23Obviously, the secret traitor,
29:25the dastardly Fiona.
29:27When Fiona revealed herself,
29:29did you initially
29:31trust her, Stephen?
29:32Did you think
29:32you could trust her?
29:34I did, yeah.
29:35I think myself
29:36and Fiona
29:37got on really well.
29:39And if there was anyone
29:41that I wanted it to be,
29:43I wanted it to be Fiona,
29:45but I didn't think
29:45it would be.
29:48I was so chuffed
29:49when she walked
29:50into that turret.
29:51Yeah.
29:51We all were.
29:53Yeah.
29:53Yeah, yeah, yeah.
29:54I don't think
29:54we all were.
29:55No.
30:00We weren't, no.
30:02Well, Rachel,
30:03obviously,
30:03you came to blows
30:05with Fiona
30:05a little bit.
30:06Yeah.
30:07When she accused herself
30:09in the kitchen,
30:10talk us through
30:10that moment.
30:11What was going
30:11through your mind?
30:13I just thought,
30:14this is great crack.
30:16I was like this
30:16because I was nervous
30:17for the first part
30:18of the game
30:19and then,
30:20and I love games.
30:21I am so competitive.
30:22I love them.
30:23And Fiona reminded me
30:24that this is a game.
30:26These are all adults
30:27going to play a game.
30:28It was like
30:29the laughs we had,
30:31but yeah,
30:31it took me about
30:32three seconds
30:32when she dropped
30:33her cloak
30:33and I just thought,
30:34no.
30:35No.
30:36She dropped the hood
30:36and I was like,
30:37no, she's going
30:37to throw me under the bus.
30:38I just didn't think
30:40she was going to move.
30:41Was it when she said
30:42Bolt and just
30:42straight away
30:43go for me?
30:44But she's phenomenal.
30:45I mean,
30:46bringing the cloak back
30:46and saying,
30:47haven't I been wonderful
30:48was probably...
30:50She loved it.
30:52And that line,
30:52I'm drunk on par,
30:53I was like,
30:53I know you are.
30:54I can see you.
30:56But she made it
30:56so much fun
30:58and like that reaction
30:59in the kitchen
30:59when she says,
31:00I think you're a traitor
31:01and I burst out laughing
31:02and I thought,
31:02this is brilliant.
31:03Yeah, it was amazing.
31:04This is hilarious.
31:05How did that feel
31:05for you, Claudia?
31:06Because obviously
31:06you weren't in the kitchen
31:07when that happened.
31:08I was watching.
31:09I was watching
31:09and my mouth was...
31:11I mean,
31:11I had to hold it up
31:12with both my hands
31:13and my feet.
31:14I was like,
31:14what is going on?
31:15What's happening?
31:17What?
31:17No, Fiona,
31:18stop, stop, stop, stop.
31:20Can I just go down?
31:21No, you can't.
31:22Can I just...
31:22Could I just get a message
31:24to...
31:24Can I write something
31:25in an apple?
31:26It was unbelievable.
31:27But yeah,
31:28you acted very fast.
31:29You were like,
31:30no, no, I'm not doing this.
31:31Come on, everybody.
31:31I need to tell everyone.
31:33Fiona,
31:34were you disappointed
31:35that Stephen sided
31:36with Rachel
31:36at your final round table?
31:38No, not at all.
31:40I knew my time was up,
31:42to be honest with you.
31:44And I just loved every minute.
31:45And I've said
31:46all the way along,
31:47it was Team Traitor.
31:49I wanted you to be there.
31:52And I just had
31:53the best fun ever.
31:56It was wonderful.
31:58And to play with
31:59all these wonderful people,
32:01all my contestants here,
32:02was...
32:04Oh, I can't begin to tell you
32:05how excited I was
32:06every single day.
32:09Rachel, you barely got a chance
32:10to relax after that.
32:13You barely got a chance
32:13to relax
32:14because then you had
32:14a showdown with Harriet.
32:16Was that something
32:17you were expecting
32:18in the talk to the traitors?
32:19No, you talk about
32:21being blindsided.
32:23And me and Harriet
32:24had a lovely relationship
32:25in the castle
32:26and I remember
32:26sitting in the library
32:27and we were just chatting
32:28about the questions
32:29and I thought,
32:30per, Harriet's knackered
32:31and she can't come up
32:32with the questions
32:33and blah, blah, blah.
32:33And I just thought,
32:34right, it's Maddie
32:36that we need to worry about.
32:37He's going to blindside us.
32:38And then when the boots
32:40come in,
32:40the round table
32:41at Traders' Pit,
32:42Claudia's boots
32:42are like clunk, clunk, clunk.
32:45Sorry.
32:45There was nothing
32:46on Harriet walking in
32:47to the shirt sack
32:48because it's obviously,
32:50you know,
32:50it's very quiet.
32:51The boots come in
32:52and then she started speaking
32:53and I thought,
32:54I just want to go home.
32:57She scared the life out of me
32:58but it was brilliant.
32:59It was absolutely brilliant.
33:00Harriet,
33:00how does it feel
33:01to see Rachel get so far
33:02and then win the game
33:03despite your best efforts?
33:05Oh, I mean,
33:05I've been beaten
33:07by the master
33:08and she is superb.
33:10She is,
33:11I think,
33:11that when you see
33:12how an alliance
33:14formed between traitors
33:15just wipes the floor
33:17with everyone,
33:18I mean,
33:18I'm so pleased
33:19that you stuck to it,
33:20both of you,
33:21to the end.
33:22And, I mean,
33:22Rachel,
33:23watching you
33:23through the whole series,
33:25you've just been fantastic.
33:27So calm,
33:29collected,
33:29strategic,
33:31completely outplayed,
33:32all of us,
33:33you know,
33:33brilliant.
33:34Badass.
33:35Yeah.
33:36Yeah.
33:38But, of course,
33:42both of you
33:43flew perilously close
33:44to the sun
33:45on numerous occasions.
33:47I mean,
33:47there was one moment
33:48everyone was talking
33:49about when you were
33:50next to the family tree
33:51trying to work out
33:52how to mark the people
33:53on the family tree
33:54and, of course,
33:55Rhys was stood there.
33:58You were worried
33:59about that,
34:00weren't you,
34:00Stephen,
34:00that Rhys had seen you
34:01both next to the family tree
34:02and was sent away
34:04so you could have a conversation.
34:05Yeah.
34:06When Rachel asked Rhys
34:08to leave,
34:09I think you saw
34:10my world disintegrate
34:11in front of my eyes.
34:11No, hang on.
34:12He offered to leave.
34:14He offered to leave.
34:15OK, sorry.
34:16I'm rewriting history.
34:18But I was terrified.
34:22I mean,
34:22I don't know
34:23how he didn't bring it up
34:24the next day.
34:25Sorry, Rhys.
34:26Well, I mean,
34:26luckily,
34:27we've given him a microphone.
34:28So, Rhys.
34:28How did you not bring that up
34:30at the real table?
34:31I'm sweating.
34:31I'm sweating for one right now.
34:32The battering I've had,
34:34by the way,
34:34from family friends,
34:35even cast,
34:36of mental.
34:39It's hard,
34:40because, obviously,
34:40like, the next day
34:41we had the early banishment.
34:43Obviously, it was Ross.
34:43My name was already being
34:45thrown through the dirt
34:46and I was never...
34:47Stephen, fair play to him,
34:48was hard on pushing
34:50on Mazwa's
34:50at the family tree last night
34:51and I was never going to be like,
34:52so was I, by the way.
34:54I was also there,
34:55so I was just
34:55in my chair,
34:57sitting down like that.
34:58No one mentioned me
34:58and then I was like,
34:59I'll mention it after the table
35:00if I get through.
35:01No, you won't.
35:01You'll go in a cage.
35:02And then Fiona won't bother
35:03trying to get you out of the cage,
35:04so you'll stay in the cage
35:05and then it was just...
35:06One thing led to another
35:07and it just never came up for me,
35:08but was I a bit naive?
35:10I'll let you answer that.
35:12But you didn't want
35:12to implicate yourself, essentially.
35:14You didn't want to put yourself
35:15next to the family tree
35:16as well as Rachel and Stephen.
35:17I was just trying to learn Latin.
35:18I don't know what's the deal.
35:19They're telling...
35:20I walked out of the kitchen.
35:21They didn't come with me.
35:22Let's go, guys.
35:23People go into the castle
35:24for different reasons
35:25and I think Latin
35:25is an admirable one.
35:27Educational purposes,
35:28I reckon.
35:29Stephen, you also had to get through
35:31the Library 5 theory.
35:32I did, yes.
35:33Which was absolutely...
35:34It's a spot-on theory from Jesse,
35:36the Library 5 theory.
35:37Yeah.
35:37But it didn't really gain traction.
35:40How do you think
35:40you got away with that?
35:42A hope and a prayer,
35:43I think, to be honest.
35:45It is...
35:46That, I think,
35:48was the first time
35:49I realised that
35:50I wasn't really cut out
35:52like to play this game strategically.
35:54I just...
35:54Like, I made that move
35:55and it wasn't until
35:57Jesse brought it up to me
35:58the next day
35:59and said,
35:59I think Ross has been framed.
36:01I was shocked
36:02that I had got myself
36:04into that mess
36:05and I knew then
36:07I had to play
36:08more of a social game
36:09than a strategic game
36:10because I clearly
36:11wasn't very good
36:11at, like,
36:12seeing where the lines
36:13would lead back to me.
36:14I'm amazed that...
36:18I'm amazed I'm sat here
36:19in the first place,
36:20to be honest.
36:20I think Jesse
36:21is such
36:23a switched-on person
36:25and every single thing
36:26she said about me
36:27obviously was 100% accurate.
36:30And just a phenomenal player
36:32and I think really
36:33she'd be so proud of herself
36:34with how she came across
36:35because just an amazing person,
36:36so well done.
36:37Yes.
36:38There were, um...
36:43Amongst you as Tracers,
36:44there were a couple
36:45of verbal slip-ups as well.
36:46I mean, we saw in...
36:48Oh, my God.
36:48In that final episode, Rachel,
36:50you saying,
36:51if I was a faithful.
36:52Uh, big, big whoopsie.
36:54I can't even remember
36:55saying that.
36:56Oh, so you didn't even
36:57register it when you said it?
36:59Did you not hear
37:00the cameras all zoom in
37:01on you?
37:02I watched it
37:03and then I thought,
37:04oh, God,
37:05I can't remember
37:05those words coming
37:06out of my mouth
37:07and then luckily,
37:08nobody else really
37:09remembers it.
37:09Yeah, I was going to say,
37:10neither of you are.
37:11I was too focused
37:12on Jack's upset.
37:13I was too busy crying.
37:14I didn't even notice
37:15that you said it.
37:16I was too busy
37:17eating blueberries.
37:18Yeah.
37:20So you guys
37:21didn't notice
37:21any slip-ups
37:23from these two?
37:23There were no alarm bells
37:24going for us.
37:25Stephen, do you remember
37:25that time at the table
37:26I saw a TikTok
37:27of you saying
37:28when we discussed
37:29this last night
37:30instead of this morning
37:31as in last night
37:32in the turret
37:32and none of us
37:33clocked it, you said it.
37:34Yeah, I did see
37:35when I thought
37:37about this last night
37:38and again,
37:39like Rachel,
37:39I have no recollection
37:40of saying that
37:41and when I watched
37:43that episode back
37:44I was screaming
37:44at the TV
37:45like, what are you doing?
37:46You know?
37:48But I think
37:48you can also tell
37:49that I didn't quite
37:50realise the gravity
37:51of the mistake
37:52I'd made
37:52because I think
37:53if I had known
37:54that I'd slipped up
37:54so badly,
37:55I would have then
37:56continued to
37:57like, you know,
37:58degrade from there on.
38:00So I think
38:00I just didn't realise
38:02I made the mistake
38:02and...
38:03That's for the best,
38:04isn't it?
38:04Yeah.
38:04Because you're then
38:05digging a hole
38:05and the next thing
38:06you're saying
38:06you am into a tracer,
38:07you know?
38:08Yeah, I am what I am.
38:09Yeah, yeah, yeah,
38:10exactly.
38:10I think whilst you're there
38:11as well,
38:12you sometimes give people
38:13benefit of the doubt
38:14because everything's
38:15happening so fast
38:16and stuff.
38:16Like, daft little slip-ups
38:17like that.
38:18Oh, it doesn't seem daft now.
38:20There's slip-ups like that.
38:21Like, you sort of
38:21let people get away with
38:22because people can stumble
38:23over the words
38:24and stuff like that.
38:25So sometimes you do
38:26let it fly under the radar.
38:29Alan Carr couldn't say the words
38:31I am a faithful
38:32that bursting out laughing.
38:34And everyone else
38:34around him went,
38:35aww, yeah.
38:36So, again,
38:38when you're in there,
38:39when you're in the castle
38:40somebody says something,
38:41it doesn't lodge.
38:42No.
38:43Please don't compare
38:44these people
38:44to the celebrity faithful.
38:45Those guys were awful.
38:49You guys,
38:50did you notice
38:51Rachel and Stephen
38:52being close in the castle?
38:53Did you see them, like,
38:54chatting to each other?
38:55This was the thing
38:56that really frustrated me
38:58because I had a little note
38:59and I wrote down
39:00everyone's names
39:01and I drew lines
39:02from who I saw
39:03would talk to each other
39:04and the only two people,
39:05and I didn't realise this
39:06until way too late,
39:08the only two lines
39:08I didn't draw a name between
39:09was Stephen and Rachel.
39:11Literally never saw them
39:12and I was literally
39:13staring at that paper
39:14like, who is not connected?
39:16But it was literally
39:16in front of me.
39:17Yeah, I think
39:18I think they'd done well
39:19to sort of hide
39:21in plain sight, really,
39:22because I was the same,
39:23didn't really notice
39:23them speaking much at all.
39:24Not bad for her grandma, huh?
39:26Yeah, not bad for her granny,
39:27like,
39:27Grandma's got...
39:29I didn't care about it.
39:29I want to get a tattoo
39:31of Grandma's dummy.
39:32That is so funny.
39:33Brilliant.
39:34Rachel, now,
39:35the question on everyone's lips,
39:37let's talk FBI training.
39:40Tell us more about this
39:41FBI training.
39:42What did it entail?
39:43Is it available
39:44to the rest of us?
39:45So, I was very careful
39:47with my words.
39:48I said I did it.
39:49I was trained
39:49by a former FBI agent.
39:51That's correct,
39:53but a really loose
39:54interpretation of it.
39:57So, the four-month
39:58online course
39:59was more like
40:00a one-day course
40:01and an e-book.
40:03Oh.
40:04But still
40:05by a former FBI agent.
40:07Yes.
40:07So, it was
40:07tactical skills
40:09in negotiating
40:09with difficult people,
40:10and there was
40:1121 very difficult people
40:12in that castle.
40:13And the art
40:15of micro-expressions
40:16and stuff,
40:16which, you know,
40:17I just thought
40:18if I have something there
40:19that I tried,
40:20if I was a faithful,
40:21I had skills
40:22or I prepared,
40:23but that just,
40:24it's taken on
40:25a life of its own.
40:26Well, and it probably
40:26put the fear of God
40:27into people as well
40:28when you're announcing
40:28that you've got FBI training.
40:30Did that scare you
40:32when you heard that?
40:33Yeah.
40:33You're saying to Fraz
40:34that I had a clench
40:35in my jaw
40:36and obviously
40:36you're going to believe it.
40:37Yeah, I was like,
40:38yeah, I've seen that,
40:39I've seen that,
40:39I don't think I ever did.
40:41No, because I says,
40:43I said,
40:43gee, it had a clench
40:44in your jaw
40:44on this side
40:45and he says,
40:45yeah, I've seen it
40:46and he's sitting this side.
40:47I don't think
40:49you ought to say that one.
40:52But like,
40:52it's the art of distraction.
40:54It's anything but me.
40:55Don't speak about me
40:56and just speak about
40:57somebody else out there.
40:58So it worked.
40:58But that's what I love
40:59so much about you two
41:00is you did it for each other
41:01throughout
41:02when you watch it back
41:04from the moment
41:05that you decided
41:06and that was,
41:07I'm not saying
41:08a casual alliance,
41:09but you were in a hall
41:09where people were looking
41:11and you did it.
41:11It's not like,
41:12let's sit down
41:13and work this out.
41:13You just decided.
41:15I love the fact
41:15that anybody came
41:16for one of you,
41:17the other person
41:18picked something up
41:19and just went,
41:19look over there.
41:20Yeah.
41:21Yeah, yeah, yeah.
41:21And people didn't see
41:22that very often,
41:23you know.
41:24Yeah, but we did
41:25have each other's back.
41:25It's amazing.
41:26Up until the end.
41:27We did, well,
41:28we did have each other's back
41:29and I think that was
41:30the hardest thing
41:31to have each other's backs
41:32silently, you know.
41:33Like, and obviously
41:35you saw my face drop
41:36when Rachel told me
41:37in the turret
41:37that, you know,
41:38if I hear
41:39that she's been saying
41:41my name,
41:41not to panic
41:42and what, I mean,
41:43the first thing I do
41:43is panic, right?
41:45But I think
41:46it's just up until
41:48that point
41:48we had been really good
41:49and I think for her
41:50when she said that to me
41:52it was absolutely
41:52the right thing to do,
41:53right?
41:54We can't, as traitors,
41:55be defending each other
41:56too overtly.
41:58But, yeah,
41:59I think up until that point
42:00I just always thought
42:01you were kind of
42:02actively defending me
42:03which obviously
42:04would have been
42:04really stupid
42:05because look at me.
42:08And, yeah,
42:09so I think that's
42:09when I started to panic
42:10kind of towards
42:11the latter part
42:11of the game
42:12and maybe start
42:12to throw your name
42:13out a bit too much
42:14I think at the end.
42:15Well, Rachel,
42:15the big panic
42:16for you in the game
42:17was the chest of chance.
42:18You came so close
42:19to being banished.
42:20Can you talk us
42:21through that round table?
42:22Do you know what?
42:23Myself and James
42:24have spoken about this
42:25and it was oddly
42:26amazing.
42:27It was one of those ones
42:29because I'm a big believer
42:30in what's for you.
42:31You know,
42:32it's meant to be
42:32and I thought, right,
42:34chance is deciding this
42:35so if it's not
42:36in the chest
42:37so be it.
42:38Stand up,
42:39hold your head high
42:40and walk out,
42:41you know,
42:41it's up to fate
42:42and then when we opened
42:44it and I seen it
42:44I thought,
42:45oh my God,
42:46I've just scraped by
42:47by the skin of my teeth
42:48but it was,
42:49like,
42:49it was a brilliant moment.
42:50It was a lot of fun.
42:51It was an incredible moment
42:52until the cliffhanger
42:53at which point
42:54every living room
42:54in the country
42:55was smashed to pieces.
42:58Now,
42:58obviously you said
42:59to Stephen
42:59I'm going to have to talk
43:00about you
43:01being a traitor
43:02but how did it feel
43:03hearing Stephen
43:04talk about you
43:05being a traitor
43:06at the round table
43:07and throwing accusations?
43:09Like,
43:09we knew it was coming
43:10and we knew
43:10you can't hide
43:13in that game
43:14and you have to
43:14throw names out
43:15so we knew it was coming
43:16but it still takes you
43:18by surprise.
43:19Do you know when
43:20his face just told me
43:23he was gunning for me
43:24and I thought
43:24this is a different face
43:26to the turret face
43:26but yeah,
43:28it had to be done.
43:29It was slightly unnerving
43:30but we kind of...
43:31Did you feel the same way
43:32Stephen
43:32when the accusations
43:33were being thrown at you
43:34from Rachel at the round table?
43:35Yeah, surprisingly,
43:37like,
43:37I think...
43:38I think Rachel
43:39had more trust in me
43:40than I had in her
43:41and yet at the round table
43:44I think I gave her
43:45a harder time
43:45than she gave me
43:46but...
43:49Yeah,
43:50anytime I heard anyone
43:52saying my name,
43:53I mean,
43:53I was perspiring profusely
43:55and, you know,
43:57I would look the same colour
43:57as your shoes,
43:58you know?
43:59So, yeah,
44:01I was terrified
44:02never I heard my name
44:02but I think knowing that...
44:05Knowing that Rachel
44:05could have been going
44:06behind my back
44:07and I know how influential
44:08Rachel was in that castle
44:09and I think we all
44:10kind of were in awe really
44:12of how Rachel moved around
44:13the circles and everyone
44:15and just has such a kind of
44:16gravity in her...
44:18in her way of conducting herself
44:20and so I just knew
44:21that I stood no chance
44:22if I just didn't say
44:23anything about Rachel,
44:25you know,
44:25because she could say
44:27one line
44:27and it would just
44:28take me down
44:28so, yeah,
44:29I was terrified.
44:30We think on Uncloats
44:31that a lot of your perspiring
44:32was down to the fact
44:33you wore really big jumpers.
44:35Let's talk about
44:37your fashion sense
44:37in general
44:38because it's been
44:38an absolute delight
44:40this series.
44:40Thank you very much.
44:41Thinking,
44:42God,
44:42I hope Stephen
44:42doesn't get banished
44:43because I want to
44:43see my friend
44:44for breakfast tomorrow,
44:45you know?
44:45So,
44:46I...
44:47Before going into the castle,
44:50I know I've got
44:52a very red face,
44:53right?
44:53So,
44:54this is something
44:54that,
44:55you know,
44:55my partner did say
44:56to me,
44:57what the hell
44:58are you going to do
44:58about your face
44:59in there?
45:00And,
45:01well,
45:02so I thought
45:02if I distract them
45:03from the neck down,
45:05maybe they won't
45:07notice the neck up.
45:09And so I just,
45:10I thought if I wear clothes
45:11that are a bit flamboyant
45:13and loud,
45:13then maybe they'll just
45:14be going,
45:15oh, Stephen,
45:15you look really great today.
45:16Rather than looking up here
45:18and going,
45:19you're a traitor,
45:20you know?
45:21So it was all
45:22kind of tactics.
45:23And I do also just love
45:24kind of that kind of
45:25fashion as well.
45:26But I do think
45:27it kind of helped
45:28distract a little bit.
45:29Well,
45:29you look fantastic.
45:30I mean,
45:30I obviously get the episodes
45:31a little bit early
45:32so we can do Uncloaked
45:33and I watch the first episode
45:34and everyone's going,
45:35what do you think of it?
45:36Everyone who works
45:37in Uncloaked.
45:37And I said,
45:37where did Stephen
45:38get his jacket from?
45:39Yeah,
45:40you and the rest of the country
45:40are asking me the same question.
45:42Tailor-made, apparently.
45:44Above your station already.
45:48Finally,
45:48what does the money
45:49mean to you both?
45:50Rachel,
45:50let's start with you.
45:51It just means
45:52an opportunity
45:53for my family.
45:54Do you know,
45:55a nice time,
45:57nice memories
45:58and lots of fun.
46:00And that's what
46:01it's all about.
46:02What about you, Stephen?
46:03I think,
46:03like I said,
46:04you kind of start
46:07to realise
46:07how much
46:08you're kind of
46:09family gave up
46:09for you when you were younger
46:10and I think
46:11just being able
46:11to hopefully try
46:12and give something back
46:13would just be
46:15great for me.
46:16I just really hope
46:17I can do for them
46:18what they've done
46:19for me previously.
46:20Well, look,
46:21you've all been
46:21absolutely incredible.
