00:00The one ready for Shuro, we actually have a backtrack replay of we can show you.
00:04She's a great two winner, but she's been behind Breath Away, Crevaldioro, Caitlin, her greatness in our time.
00:10We see in this particular race, she's behind Breath Away and Caitlin, her greatness.
00:15So that's my major concern with her.
00:17And it's also going to be her first start since October the 4th.
00:21So she's kind of honest.
00:22She's a horse who I can see underneath, but she's more of a deeper closer in here.
00:26So I don't have her towards the top.
00:28The two heredia I can have is more of like an underneath type horse.
00:31It's a great two winner who didn't run poorly in the last couple, but she was facing legitimate grade one company in the matriarch in the first lady.
00:39So those horses are just better.
00:42Destino Dioro, Alexa is a little interesting.
00:44She's lightly raced.
00:46Brad Cox, trainer Brad Cox.
00:47I mean, he could have a monster day.
00:49He trains disco time.
00:50He could win a couple of these really big races on Saturday.
00:53Yeah, I think she's got a lot of upside in here.
00:55Her most recent win was over the same course at Gulfstream.
00:59And I think she should have naturally improved.
01:01She just entered her four-year-old year as entering her prime as opposed to like Heredia, who just talked about who needs to improve, but is seven years old.
01:08Probably much less likely to see that than from a young horse.
01:11Shows you how competitive this race is when you look at the odds here, because everybody is about five to one and above.
01:17Like there's not going to be any really short prices in this field.
01:21I do think Breath Away is one of the more solid horses in here.
01:24She's another one who faced Tough Company last time.
01:27She faced grade one horses, and she was a winner in the dance smartly.
01:31A couple starts back at Woodbine, going a mile into 16th.
01:34She's won at Gulfstream.
01:35She could fit this turf course and this track and this kind of class level.
01:41Yeah, and she's a closer in her last race.
01:43She got fourth, but there was a big advantage that day to the horses on the lead.
01:46So I think seeing her close into that actually is an effort better than it looks.
01:52So I think she's a valid contender in here for the win.
01:54Classic Q is kind of versatile for Mark Cassie.
01:57She's shown us that she can go on the front.
01:59Two starts back.
01:59She had to come from way out of it when she finished second.
02:02She's going to be facing some, you know, older horses in here.
02:06But look who she dealt with a few starts back.
02:08She's so spicy.
02:09The Breeders' Cup Turf Sprint winner.
02:11Yeah.
02:11Yeah, my thing with Classic Q is, like, her last race was her best.
02:16But a bunch of horses have run back from that, and they've all done, like, they haven't run great.
02:20So I don't know if that race was a really, like, reliable indicator of performance.
02:25Caitlin, her greatness won the King's Plate.
02:27That's the Kentucky Derby for the Canadian breads.
02:29And she actually beat the boys in doing so when she won that race back in 2024.
02:34My major concern with her, I think she's better on synthetic than on turf.
02:39Now, that doesn't mean she can't win this race on the grass, but she just does seem more brilliant on the synthetic.
02:44She's done okay on the grass, but she definitely prefers the synthetic.
02:48So I'm kind of, eh, medium on her.
02:52One of the top players in here, I mean, just off Connections, trainer Chad Brown, jockey Flavian Pratt, is Whiskey Decision.
02:58This is a grade three winner, but she's not raced since September and only raced a couple times in 2020 fine when coming into the Chad Brown barn.
03:07What do you think about Whiskey Decision's chances in here?
03:10It's my top pick.
03:11I mean, she had a little setback in training last October, it looks like.
03:14She had some weeks off, but she's been working really consistently since November.
03:18Chad Brown is really great at having them ready for these big races off the layoff.
03:22So I think she's very formidable in here.
03:24And we see her in this backtrack replay right there.
03:28Moving along to Proctor Street is sharp right now.
03:31She's won three of her last four.
03:33She kind of found some room in between horses and spurt through for a nice win.
03:37What do you think about her chances here?
03:39I like her as well.
03:40I'm including her in my top four.
03:42Last race was lifetime best performance yet.
03:44This is a class jump.
03:45She's never been against graded stakes company before, but I think she makes a lot of sense in here.
03:50Gravaldioro won last time out right here at Gulfstream Park.
03:53Do you give this gal a chance?
03:56No, I think there's just stronger closes in here.
03:58And one more time, one of those lightly racehorses just finished behind Destino Dioro, but she hasn't been able to really put races together a whole lot.
04:07She might be able to build some fitness up in here.
04:10Yeah, I think this is a step back up in class for her from her two most recent starts, so she makes some sense for sure.
04:16If anybody's going to steal this race on the front end, Alexa, it's the number 11 in our time.
04:21She just looks like the fastest.
04:23My concern is she's just won for her last nine, but she did run third in last year's race.
04:28I just don't think she's going to want to go longer than a mile.
04:32Wait, is this a mile?
04:34No, I don't know if it's the team.
04:35So that's where – and then you can kind of see it in her past performances, right?
04:39Like, that's where she kind of hits the wall, right about that mile when she gets a little bit tired.
04:43So she'll have that control, but can she seal the deal and finish it off?
04:47We round things out with Moving On Up, who comes off of a runner-up effort last time out.
04:52She's going to be parked way out wide, but she has some versatility.
04:56Do you give her a shot in here?
04:58I think she has some pace advantage of being able to be forwardly placed amongst a bunch of closers, but I do think it's going to be a tough spot.
05:05Alexa, it was great to have you back here chatting with us.
05:09I wish you the best of luck.
05:10I wish all of you the best of luck this weekend at Gulfstream Park.
05:13For Alexa, Whiskey Decision is the top play in here.
05:16For me, going to be Destino Dioro.
