00:07Can we even say the name of the movie?
00:09The young Han Solo Star Wars spin-off finally has a name. So, are you ready for the big reveal?
00:14The title is, drumroll please, A Star Wars Story.
00:19The film's director, Ron Howard, revealed the title in a Twitter video Tuesday.
00:23He also thanked the cast and crew for their hard work as production wraps up.
00:27Disney and Lucasfilm origin story stars Alden Ehrenreich as the iconic smuggler, alongside Donald Glover as Lando Calrissian.
00:34Woody Harrelson, Emilia Clarke and Vandy Newton are also featured among the cast.
00:39Solo is Lucasfilm's second Star Wars standalone movie, following last year's Rogue One A Star Wars Story.
00:45Howard took over directing duties in June after Phil Lord and Chris Miller were let go due to creative differences
00:51between the duo and Lawrence Kasdan, the veteran screenwriter who pinned the script with his son.
00:56Howard has been teasing set pieces and character hints on Twitter for the past few months,
01:00including pics behind the scenes in a dark and strange new corner of the galaxy, his first experience in hyperspace,
01:06and keeping warm with Kasdan on a chilly Corellian night. But almost all of those teases included the hashtag
01:12UntitledHanSoloMovie. Now we know that Solo A Star Wars Story will be the film hitting theaters May 25th, 2018.
01:20Meanwhile, there's only two months left until the next Star Wars film when The Last Jedi opens on December 15th.
