00:00Phantom Blade Zero is based on Rembrandt, an indie game I made all by myself 15 years ago.
00:10In 2021, we decided to make a major shift to big console and PC titles.
00:17That is the beginning of Phantom Blade Zero.
00:30We created a style we call Kung Fu Punk, in which we mix in our own Chinese culture and Chinese wuxia cultures with those cool elements from modern entertainment industry, such as steampunk, folklore, and also cosmic horror and such.
00:50In doing this, we are going to create something both authentic as well as universal.
01:00Our hero's soul was heavily wounded in the heart, so he has only 66 days left to live.
01:14With this very limited of time, he has to find a way to save himself, as well as finishing his revenge.
01:23But on the way, he found out there are some darkness that may destroy the world, and then he changed his priority from saving himself to save the world.
01:33But I would say it's neither Souls-like nor hack and slash.
01:40We would love to create something in between.
01:42Something with both the explorations and also fast-paced combat.
01:47Some players want accessibilities while the others want challenges.
01:52So we will have different difficulty options for both of them.
01:57And we want to make each difficulty option unique.
02:01A very good thing for PC gamers is they have different ways to experience the game.
02:06I think RTX and DLSS4 are the main features that enhance our game a lot.
02:13As a small team, these technologies can get us the top level of graphics.
02:18The rain is one of our core environmental features.
02:22So having a convincing presentation of anything in the rain is important.
02:27And also we have a lot of surrealism scenes that needs to be done in a very unique way.
02:32So we found a way tracing system for this.
02:35It's difficult to maintain the frame rate while you have a top-notch graphic.
02:40So DLSS4 and other Nvidia technologies support us to get a stable frame rate while getting the best graphics.
02:50Phantom Blade Zero is coming to Steam on September the 9th, 2026.
02:55Go wishlist again so you can join us for what's next.
02:59Thank you for the support.
03:00See you next time.
