00:00What is going on, summoners? We're back here today with another Champion Deep Dive.
00:05Today, we're talking about Blue Marvel.
00:08Blue Marvel enters the contest as a living antimatter reactor,
00:13allowing him to warp the laws of physics to his benefit.
00:17His attacks deal energy damage and do not make contact with non-skill opponents.
00:22Also, due to his unique composition, he is immune to bleed and power steel,
00:28and his combat power rate cannot be reduced below 80%.
00:32Blue Marvel doesn't gain a precision buff when using the Dexterity Mastery.
00:38Instead, he gains an energy resistance passive for 5 seconds.
00:42These max out at 3 stacks.
00:44Blue Marvel's thunderous blows will not be denied.
00:48His heavy attack cannot miss,
00:50and when punishing a mystic opponent's heavy or special attack with his medium,
00:54he inflicts a crush debuff for 2.5 seconds.
00:58Additionally, his 2nd, 3rd, and 4th light attack inflict a 1% weakness debuff for 10 seconds.
01:05These max out at 5 stacks.
01:08Now, Blue Marvel can gain antimatter charges throughout the fight,
01:12maxing out at 60 stacks.
01:14He gains 1 charge when the opponent is inflicted with a non-stun debuff.
01:19He gains 3 charges when the opponent fills a bar of power.
01:23And, he gains 1 charge when taking energy damage or blocking a hit while not in stable release.
01:30This way of gaining charges has a cooldown of 0.5 seconds.
01:35Once Blue Marvel reaches maximum antimatter charges,
01:39he enters stable release, and the charges begin to expire one at a time.
01:44Each charge lasts 0.5 seconds and are paused during the opponent's specials.
01:50Stable release grants Blue Marvel increased attack rating and energy penetration.
01:55Additionally, while in this mode, his attacks cannot miss,
01:58and intercepting the opponent with a basic attack grants a personal crush debuff.
02:03When Blue Marvel has no antimatter charges remaining,
02:07stable release ends, and its effects are removed.
02:10For every 20 charges Blue Marvel gains while not in stable release,
02:15and for every 20 seconds he spends in stable release,
02:19he gains an indefinite cruelty passive,
02:22plus an additional one for each personal cruelty gained after the start of the fight.
02:27These max out at 30 stacks.
02:30Also, when Blue Marvel is awakened,
02:32he starts each fight with the number of personal cruelty passives
02:36equaling up to 25% of his persistent antimatter.
02:40Additionally, when awakened,
02:42before taking non-hit direct damage from champions,
02:45he gains an indestructible passive for up to 8 seconds,
02:49with a cooldown of 35 seconds.
02:51But, this cooldown is removed when Blue Marvel is rooted.
02:55Now, the first hit of Blue Marvel's heavy attack inflicts a 25% Overload debuff for 20 seconds.
03:03These max out at 3 stacks.
03:06And, tapping block while performing the final hit focuses the blast,
03:10refreshing all personal Overload debuffs.
03:13If all three have more than 50% duration remaining,
03:17he pauses them for 10 seconds.
03:19Now, on the first hit of his special 1,
03:23he inflicts a non-stacking Provoke debuff for 5 seconds.
03:27Provoke makes the affected champion 40% more aggressive while outside of striking distance.
03:34And, while this debuff is active,
03:36striking the opponent reinflicts it with its fixed remaining duration.
03:40The final hit inflicts a 20% Wither debuff for 30 seconds,
03:45up to 2 stacks.
03:46And, while the opponent has more than 2 bars of power,
03:50these withers reduce ability power rate by an additional 30%.
03:54The final hit also refreshes all personal Overload and Wither debuffs.
04:00Now, the burst of damage dealt by personal Overload effects during Blue Marvel's special 2
04:06gains an additional 65% potency during this attack.
04:10And, before each beam blast,
04:12Blue Marvel taps into his hyper-cosmic awareness to slow down time.
04:17Tapping Brock during the slowed period grants a precision passive for 25 seconds.
04:22And, this is easier during stable release.
04:26Also, with this special 3,
04:28he gains a non-stacking regeneration passive healing 6% of his max health over 8 seconds.
04:34And, while in stable release, this passive pauses for 0.5 seconds when striking the opponent.
04:42Additionally, he inflicts an indefinite 25% Overload passive, maxing out at 3 stacks.
04:50Now, let's put it all together in the champion rotation.
04:55To begin, land a heavy attack to begin inflicting your Overload debuffs.
05:01Continue to build power while maxing out your Overload and, once ready,
05:05launch your special 1 to refresh them on the final hit of the attack.
05:10From here, you can land another heavy attack and tap block while performing the final hit to pause your Overload
05:17for 10 seconds.
05:18Continue building power by using your light attacks to inflict your weakness debuffs to continue gaining charges.
05:25Then, use another special 1.
05:27By now, you'll be close to entering stable release.
05:30And, once in stable release, launch your special 2.
05:34And, make sure to tap block while Blue Marvel slows down the fight to gain those precision passives.
05:40If your opponent isn't already knocked out, just continue this process until they are.
05:45Now, remember, Blue Marvel ramps up throughout the fight, and through a quest.
05:51So, the larger his runway is, the stronger he becomes, making each additional fight easier and easier.
06:00And hey, if you're going up against a very large health pool, you can use Blue Marvel's Special 3 to
06:06inflict those passive overloads,
06:08stacking up to 3 times, and causing those red bursts of damage to send waves through the battle realm.
