00:00We believe the cost of living crisis is the biggest issue facing Britain's families.
00:04That's why we took £150 of costs off bills in the budget.
00:08That's coming in April.
00:09But we also know upgrading homes can make a huge difference.
00:12This is the biggest public investment that's ever been made in upgrading homes.
00:17And there's all kinds of ways in which we're going to help through this plan.
00:20So private renters will get higher standards, there'll be more investment in social housing
00:24to cut fuel poverty, and there'll be grants for things like heat pumps and low or no interest
00:29loans for solar panels.
00:31It's all about making it more affordable for people, not just the wealthiest in our society,
00:36to be able to upgrade their homes and cut their bills.
