Action star Jason Statham hails stunt doubles as ‘unsung heroes’ of films

Jason Statham spoke about his new action film Shelter at a special screening in London, saying his childhood ambition was to become a stuntman.

00:14and no one gets to know who did the stunts, who choreographed all the, you know, the great

00:18sequences that we do and they're amazing talented people and they work really hard and they're

00:24tough and they're so humble and if I've got anything to say, you know, my desire when

00:30I was a kid was to be a stuntman and I think, you know, my affection for that world, the

00:35stunt world, is never ending and I think anyone who wants to get into that, you'll get treated

00:41well, you'll hang out with the best people and you'll make these movies very, very special.
