"I also shared a story about Harvey Weinstein before the 'Me Too' movement," Graham told THR.
Transcript
00:00Hi, I'm Heather Graham and you're watching Hollywood Reporter.
00:11When I heard that Alyssa Milano was doing that, I did it.
00:14I also shared a story about Harvey Weinstein, too, before the Me Too movement started.
00:18It makes you feel bad when you think of that happening to you, but after I told that story
00:23I felt a lot better.
00:24And I just think it's really cool how women are bonding together and banding together
00:29and just wanting to support each other and just create a better world for all women.
00:33I think that's pretty cool.
00:39The best part was, it felt really empowering.
00:42It was an empowering story that I'd want to watch.
00:44I'll be sitting around talking about how sad our lives are.
00:47I just wanted out for me.
00:49You're right, we should be talking about how great we are.
00:52And we were really supportive of each other.
00:54And they're really funny and good.
00:56Dramatic and comedic actresses, very talented.
00:58I started working on this script probably about six years ago or seven years ago.
01:02And it's coming out at the moment where everyone is really finally caring about women's issues.
01:07So it's very lucky and fortunate that people have finally decided that this is something to care about.
01:13She's so funny.
01:14I mean, I'm so glad I got to put her in my movie and that she gets to be this female empowerment teacher and say like all this wacky stuff.
01:25Now it is time to honor the breasts of the women in the room.
01:28She did so many funny improvs that we had to cut out because the scene was so long.
01:32But she is amazing.
01:33Because I know her as a friend but then to work with her you just realize how brilliant she is.
01:37When she was acting in the movie she would look at me and I know she was just trying to get me to laugh during the take.
01:42Which you don't want to do because then you'll ruin the take.
01:44And I was trying so hard not to laugh.
01:46She kept trying to crack me up.
01:51The worst way that I have been broken up with or ever broken up with someone is in a text message.
01:57Or an email.
