00:10Just hours after Dylan Farrow gave her first TV interview in which she accused her
00:14adoptive stepfather of sexually assaulting her when she was seven years old,
00:17Firth told The Guardian of the prolific director,
00:21Firth starred in Allen's 2013 film Magic in the Moonlight alongside Emma Stone
00:25and now adds his name to a number of actors who have worked under the director in expressing
00:29their regret at doing so, including Rebecca Hall, Timothy Chalamet, Mira Savino, Rachel
00:34Brosnahan and Greta Gerwig. Hall and Chalamet have both said they would donate their salaries
00:38from Allen's upcoming film A Rainy Day in New York to charities. Allen has repeatedly denied
00:43the accusations against him.
00:45Last year, Firth was outspoken about disgraced film mogul Harvey Weinstein, who produced his
00:49Oscar-winning 2010 film The King's Speech. Firth described Weinstein as a frightening man.
