00:00But who does Gérard Lopez think he's fooling? Just explain this to me, because Pelo went under, I don't know, like that club, and now he's coming out with a barrage of criticism, but seriously, shut up!
00:06Let's recall some elements of Gérard Lopez's career: he managed LOSC, the club ended up in debt with 120 million euros, it's fortunate that the club is doing well afterwards.
00:14He owned Mouscron, the club was declared bankrupt, his Boa Vista in Portugal became an amateur club to the point that supporters recreated a second club.
00:22And finally, he was the president of Girondins de Bordeaux, a club that went from Ligue 1 to National 2, even though we're talking about an iconic club.
00:28And so, because a certain Bichente Lizarazu dared to open his mouth and denounce absolutely everything that happened in Bordeaux,
00:33the 90 million in debt, the hundreds of unpaid companies, the dozens of laid-off employees, and the obviously sporting aid from a professional Ligue 1 club to an amateur National 2 club.
00:43He'll say that Lizarazu should talk about football rather than things he doesn't understand.
00:47Unbelievable but true, he's going to pat himself on the back, explaining that nobody wanted to take over Bordeaux, that he's the one who saved Bordeaux.
00:53That he has a very deep love for that club, no no, I wouldn't have dared say that.
00:56And overall, he's going to fire live ammunition at all those who have criticized him.
00:59The only thing I'm willing to admit is that it's true he was the only one who wanted to take over Girondins de Bordeaux.
01:05It's true that a club like that, a legendary Ligue 1 club, should normally have been taken over by a serious person, not by Gérard Lopez.
01:10But since he was the only one to come forward to take over the club, which was in freefall, well, he managed to take it over.
01:15Now he can whine in the press, explain that he is a misunderstood man, that he tried to save the club, etc.
01:20That he saved the Girondins de Bordeaux from total extinction.
01:23Absolutely everywhere this guy went, he left a pile of ashes behind.
01:26So I am willing to admit that in some cases, it is a compelling circumstance.
01:29Okay, but perhaps it's time to question ourselves for a moment.
01:32Okay, but perhaps it's time to question ourselves for a moment, but perhaps it's time to question ourselves for a moment.
