Azādārī-e-Hussain is the practice of remembering, honoring, and mourning the supreme sacrifice of Imam Hussain ibn Ali (AS) and his companions, who were martyred on the 10th of Muharram (Ashura) in 680 CE at Karbala. Imam Hussain stood against tyranny, injustice, and oppression, choosing martyrdom over allegiance to an unjust ruler.
