00:00Hi, I'm Emily Gatwood. I'm a primary school teacher, an artist and a graphic designer.
00:05I'm local to Balgownie and my children go to Balgownie Primary School. The principal,
00:11Donna Barton, asked me to collaborate with the kids to come up with the design for the mural
00:17at the front of the school. So I worked with the leaders of the school as well as some indigenous
00:23students to come up with the design so they have some ownership over what their school looks like
00:29and what we represent. We've been working at it over the school holidays and the kids will get
00:35a nice surprise when they return.
