00:00...off the hands of Ryan Flannoy.
00:03That was an easy pitch and catch, except for the catch part.
00:07He's one of the guys that's really kind of expanded his role here down the stretch,
00:12that third receiver position between him and Jalen Tolbert.
00:16I think one of the big things is when you have CeeDee Lamb and you have George Pickens
00:21and you want to go 11 personnel with three wide receivers, but you want to run the football,
00:25it's kind of hard to convince CeeDee or George to go in there and dig guys out.
00:28So you're going to see 19 doing that.
00:30I think that's what kind of opened the door for him a little bit
00:32to become a bigger part of this offense,
00:34and now he's used that to get some opportunities in the pass game.
00:37Here's Blue on second and 10, room to run.
00:41He's got a first down.
00:43Jaden Blue has looked good in this first half.
00:46His blocking has looked really good to help him out.
00:49Yeah, and I tell you, Brock Hoffman, 67, is doing a nice job.
00:52There he is again coming around the corner getting a block on Chauncey Golston right there.
00:56He's the one that opens it up.
00:57There's CeeDee Lamb down the field getting a little bit of a block.
01:01Working on Corey Black, number 38.
01:06Fourth rush of 10 yards or more for Jaden Blue.
01:09He had 65 yards rushing this season.
01:11He has 72 in the first half.
01:15Prescott over the middle, on the run.
01:17And it's Bryn Spanford and Brevin Spanford down to the 15-yard line.
01:24This guy could become something unique in this offense.
01:28Here's Brevin Spanford right here.
01:30Now, he's a big guy, right?
01:32And you think about him as being that big blocking tight end
01:34that can do a lot of different things.
01:36What we've seen the last couple of weeks with the Dallas Cowboys offense
01:40is Brevin Spanford getting down the field on those seam routes
01:43and those big hands, a big target going down the seam.
01:47That's going to be a huge plus for this offense moving forward into 26
01:51if he becomes a bigger part of that.
01:53Spanford in motion.
01:54Extra offensive lineman in.
02:00And it's Blue.
02:01And down he goes at the 10.
02:04In the arms of Roy Robertson-Harris.
02:06Just a one-yard gain for Jaden Blue.
02:09And it's second down.
02:14So this Giants defensive front right now, on that last snap,
02:18a little bit of movement now in the defensive line.
02:20Dallas has kind of gotten into a nice rhythm here
02:22with some of the blocking angles that they're creating in the run game.
02:26So getting a little bit of movement in that giant defensive front
02:28to try and impact that.
02:30Brian Burns almost able to get in there and make a play in the backfield.
02:33And then you saw him limp off to the sideline for the Giants.
02:37Second down to nine from the 10.
02:39It's Blue again.
02:41And Blue down near the seven.
02:44Where it'll be third down for the Cowboys.
02:47Picks up three more.
02:49And Burns being looked at on that New York sideline.
02:5316 and a half sacks for Brian Burns, who we talked to him.
02:58He's always been in some rough situations from a wins and losses standpoint
03:03with his teams first at Carolina and now here.
03:05But his attitude is tremendous.
03:07And he's really optimistic about the future.
03:10Third down and six from the seven.
03:14Prescott.
03:15Clean pocket.
03:17Checks it short.
03:18Lipke on the edge.
03:19Nice moves in the open field.
03:20And Lipke down at the four.
03:23You can get a first down near the one if you're Dallas.
03:28Yeah, I just love this little safety valve here because it's not just a swing pass.
03:32It's a swing pass with a blocker.
03:34And there it is again.
03:34Jake Ferguson.
03:35Number 87 out there.
03:37You've got him kind of leading the way for Hunter Lipke there.
03:41So it's not just a swing pass where you've got to beat a defender.
03:43You've got a blocker with you.
03:45Burns still being taped up on the sidelines as Dallas lines up to go.
03:49On fourth down and two from the three.
04:06And they're not going to snap this one.
04:09They go for it a lot.
04:11You saw the numbers.
04:1321 for 33 this year on fourth down.
04:17They don't snap it there.
04:18Will the offense stay on the field after the timeout?
04:25I'd tell you, I'm kind of surprised.
04:27As aggressive as Coach Schottenheimer was last week.
04:30And he talked to us about that.
04:32It's more, you know, kind of out towards midfield where he's thinking about those key ones.
04:37But he's leaving that offense out on the field.
04:40Nice call, Kevin Kugler.
04:42Third most conversions in the league.
04:45Fourth most attempts in the league.
04:47This feels like, why not?
04:52I won't say it's a meaningless game because the man to my right will hit me.
04:55But it's not with playoff implications.
04:59So why not go for it?
05:00Yeah, let's do it again.
05:01There's a guy out there, George Pickens.
05:02You got a little bit of help inside on that slant.
05:05He looked Pickens' way.
05:06Now on the roll.
05:07He'll throw to Pickens at the goal line.
05:09There's a flag down at the 14.
05:13Pickens was covered by Rico Payton.
05:16We'll see about the flag back at the 14-yard line.
05:19Yeah, that'll be a hold on the Cowboys.
05:27So...
05:28It's a good look that the Giants have given it.
05:41They've shown it twice.
05:42You make it look like George Pickens is one-on-one outside,
05:50but you've got safety help on the inside with Dane Belt.
05:53You can see right there, he's coming that way.
05:55I like what George Pickens does right here.
05:57He knows he's got to be on the other side of that first down marker,
06:00so he's not giving up too much ground, but they couldn't get it completed.
06:04Payton with the coverage to help bat it away, and New York takes over.
06:12Some of the faces of this rivalry are legendary, from coaches to players.
06:18These two franchises have had some of the most iconic figures
06:22in the history of the National Football League,
06:26play prominent roles in this series.
06:28Who will be the next to step up and play a big role
06:33when the Giants and the Cowboys meet?
06:3510-9, Dallas Giants defense gets the stop,
06:38and then some early movement up front.
06:42Solomon Thomas may have come across early for Dallas.
06:49New Trazor's only infraction defense that will name five-yard penalty
06:53to raise first half.
06:55And Solomon Thomas will now leave.
06:58Poor Dallas.
07:02We talked about earlier with the tackling in space and getting the guy down,
07:08and that's a big neutral zone infraction to give them a little bit more life
07:12coming off their own goal line.
07:13It's just some of those detailed things that Dallas has struggled with defensively.
07:17Here's Singletary weaving through traffic.
07:20That's a first down.
07:21Out near the 22-yard line.
07:24Good run from Devin Singletary.
07:2613 yards to really get that breathing room.
07:30Yeah, always been a fan of Devin Singletary.
07:33He's one of those guys that makes people miss out in space,
07:36and he's always a little bit more physical than you would expect.
07:39You'd think that little scat-back type guy, but he can run with some power.
07:42On first down, Dart will keep.
07:46Dart looking to the edge, and there's the slide.
07:50Jackson Dart with the slide.
07:53Situational base is what he told us.
07:55He said, I've done a good job the last few weeks avoiding those hits.
07:58He said, people don't talk about in the last four years.
08:01He said, I've only missed those two games the last four years.
08:04I am not injury prone.
08:05No, he's not.
08:07It's just because we've talked about it.
08:09I mean, the Giants really feel like they've found their guy moving forward
08:13at the quarterback spot, and they don't want him to miss any games.
08:18We promised Jackson we'd mention that on the air,
08:20that he'd only miss those two games.
08:22Two-minute warning.
08:25Looking forward to that two minutes until that Verizon halftime show.
08:3010-9 Dallas.
08:32And a second and five for the Giants.
08:35Dart to the air, to the sideline, and that's incomplete.
08:45Wanted Darius Slayton, and it'll bring up third and five.
08:50Now, when I had an opportunity to visit with Quentin Williams on the field
08:54before the game, one of the things that we talked about, you know,
08:56about this defense and the challenges they've had this year is he said early on
09:00before he got here, you know, when he arrived, he felt like everybody was pressing.
09:04And so, really, you know, one of the big things that they've talked about as a group
09:08is, hey, just do your job, all right?
09:10We've got some things that are happening around this defense,
09:13but we're only going to make it worse if we're stepping out of our responsibility
09:16to try and help someone else.
09:18On third and five, fits it in to Oshesky, who secures it for the first down for New York.
09:24See if the Giants roll into this now.
09:33Play some tempo here.
09:36Still plenty of time.
09:37Still two timeouts to work with.
09:41On first and ten.
09:43Dart under pressure late.
09:45Flag is down, and so is Dart.
09:46In the arms of Donovan Azaraku, his third sack of the season.
09:53We'll see about that flag.
10:04It'll be a personal foul, the original indication against the Giants.
10:08You can hear the Cowboys players saying, decline it.
10:19Jedevin Clowney wants to get a sack for his teammate, Donovan Azaraku.
10:31What do you want us to do?
10:32What do you want us to do?
10:34I think it's going to be a trip.
10:35Oh, John Runyon.
10:38Tripping offense, number 71.
10:4171.
10:43Oh, they didn't listen.
10:46They didn't decline it.
10:47Azaraku doesn't get the sack.
10:54Decline it.
10:55Decline it.
10:56I want that sack.
11:00So Azaraku, the second rounder taken by the Cowboys.
11:05Out of Boston College.
11:06He'll have to get his third sack a little later in this one.
11:25On first and 25, the handoff up the middle to Tyrone Tracy.
11:30And now a timeout used by Dallas.
11:34So with this timeout, that gives us an excellent opportunity to get a game break.
11:39And Carissa Thompson does those.
11:40And here she is.
11:41Thank you, Kevin.
11:41Saints down 10 to the Falcons.
11:43Third and goal.
11:43Tyler Shuck with the great fake.
11:45Then outruns the defender.
11:46The pylon for the score.
11:48Saints now trail the Falcons by three.
11:50Okay.
11:51Have the Saints found their quarterback in Tyler Shuck?
11:55Yeah, I was going to say the same thing.
11:57Are we seeing something very, very similar down in New Orleans to what we're seeing here in New York?
12:01Certainly not somebody that they took and said, oh, yeah, he's a surefire future at that spot.
12:10But it has sort of evolved into him becoming the guy.
12:13And he's performed well.
12:14He has.
12:15And we were down in New Orleans earlier and had an opportunity to visit with some people about him.
12:19He was not playing at the time.
12:20It was still Spencer Rattler.
12:21But they said, every once in a while, he'll make a throw at practice.
12:24And you're just like, holy cow.
12:28He's taking those holy cow practice throws onto the field now in games.
12:32Ooh.
12:32Tough toss to Tracy who makes a nice move on the edge.
12:36And at the 30-yard line, stacked up.
12:40And here comes a flag at the end of the play, pushing and shoving on the sidelines.
12:45And a flag is thrown.
12:47You had Kenneth Murray in the mix over there.
12:51Everybody pointing to either side.
12:55It'll be third and long, depending on the flag.
12:59But was that Daniel Bellinger pushing?
13:02After the play, personal foul, unnecessary roughness.
13:04Late hit out of bounds.
13:06Defense, number 59.
13:0815-yard penalty, automatic first stop.
13:13All right.
13:14Now, 59 and 82 are tied up.
13:17So watch this all the way through.
13:18And let's see if maybe this is, you know, both players pushing.
13:22You've got to stop right now.
13:24Now, he extends right there.
13:26So that's not smart by Kenneth Murray in that situation.
13:30Now, he's battling with Daniel Bellinger.
13:32But there's a couple of things that we've seen here in this first half.
13:36We're just, you know, things that are within your control.
13:39You're just making it so much harder for your defense.
13:46Four-man rush.
13:48Dart to the sideline.
13:49Osheski.
13:50And out of bounds, he goes at the 47.
13:53And so now you give Jackson Dart and this Giants offense a chance to get into scoring position
13:57before halftime and maybe take a lead into the locker room.
14:00It's sitting at a first and 25.
14:01I mean, on top of that.
14:03So, you know, we had a little bit of fun there.
14:06Do you leave the sack to stand and, you know, let Donovan as a rocker have that sack?
14:11Or do you take the penalty, which is best for the team?
14:13And you do that and you let the Giants out of that adversity.
14:22Dart with time.
14:24Jumps that pass to Osheski.
14:26And down the sideline, he goes inside the 25 and down to the 23.
14:30We're ready.
14:31Stewart makes the tackle.
14:3223-yard pickup.
14:34Giants hustling up.
14:35They still have two timeouts to work with.
14:45On first down.
14:48Tracy on the edge.
14:50And Tracy chased out by Kalen Carson.
14:53Back to that play before to Osheski, Darryl.
14:55Yeah, we saw it, you know, in the earlier part of this game in the first quarter.
14:59Watch, he's going to release.
15:00Like, he's going to the middle of the field.
15:02And then he just breaks to the outside.
15:03And, you know, Reddy Stewart's got to be, you got to be aware of that.
15:06And that's a very, very similar play to what we saw earlier when Gunnar Osheski had another big play.
15:12Well, you can scoff about what this game means for the Giants, what it means for the Cowboys.
15:16What it means right now for Jackson Dart is a chance to run a two-minute drill in a late-half situation.
15:23Another chance to grow as a young quarterback.
15:25And we've got a flag down.
15:41Austin Schlopman moving early.
15:46So back it up to the 27-yard line.
15:54Back-to-back 10-play drives for the Giants, trying to cash in on more than three.
16:00Go, go, go, go.
16:03Cowboys rush for Dart to the sideline and out-of-bounds.
16:17He'll lose two yards out at the 29.
16:2031 seconds to go until halftime.
16:31Kind of an interesting pre-snap formation there.
16:35You had the four to the right side, and then you motion.
16:36You went to a three-by-two, but Dallas did a nice job.
16:39They had everything covered on that play.
16:41Nothing where, nowhere for Jackson Dart to go with that football.
16:44Third and 16.
16:54He wanted the screen and now flips it out to Bellinger.
16:58Daniel Bellinger on the run.
17:00How about this one?
17:02Touchdown, Giants.
17:05The most unorthodox touchdown pass of the young career of Jackson Dart.
17:14I mean, you've got an opportunity to get the quarterback down, and you miss out on that.
17:27You've got to give him a little bit of a help there, Daniel Bellinger.
17:30But now that flip to him brought his eyes and his angle towards the opposite side of the field.
17:38Probably lucky to get away from that face mask right there.
17:40But you can see how that flip pulled Daniel Bellinger that way.
17:44That was the perfect direction for him to go because every Dallas defender was going opposite that way in the direction.
17:51Extra point from Ben Sauls is good, and it's 16-10.
17:55Mike Kafka used to be Patrick Mahomes' quarterback coach.
17:59You think maybe he brought some of Patrick Mahomes' weird arm angles and strange passing decisions
18:06to his young quarterback in New York?
18:09Jackson Dart enjoying this one with a 16-10 lead.
18:12There's Daniel Bellinger right there on the outside.
18:16He's going to be a part of this screen, but watch as the throw comes.
18:19It kind of creates just that natural lane for him to just kind of get on.
18:24And you're going to see it just kind of open up right here.
18:27And it's just a free run right into the end zone.
18:30You had all the Dallas defenders getting pulled that way because they see the screen.
18:33But that little flip by Jackson Dart kind of moved Daniel Bellinger right towards that free lane,
18:39right into the end zone.
18:42Kevontae Turpin on the return for the Cowboys.
18:45A flag down behind the return as Turpin is down shy of the 30-yard line.
18:51Nice to be.
19:07During the return, holding and gets the return, team number 37.
19:1110-yard penalty for the end of the line.
19:13First down down.
