00:00The mega-cooled storage facility being built in Camarines Sur is close to completion,

00:05awaiting to serve as Bicol Region's regional food logistics hub.

00:09Agriculture Secretary Francisco Tulaurel Jr. together with Camarines Sur Governor El Rey Villafuerte

00:15conducted an inspection in the facility ahead of its expected opening by the end of February or the first part of March.

00:23The facility is expected to help boost food security, generate more jobs, encourage agri-investments,

00:28and most of all, increase the income of workers under the agricultural sector in Bicol and nearby regions.

00:35The storage can store up to 4,600 metric tons of meat or 3,000 metric tons of vegetables.

00:42Its facilities include a blast freezer, processing and packing areas, and solar power systems.
