13:42a sense of quality i would never just get up there and be like guess i'll try something
13:48that has to be purposeful and it has to be well executed
13:52like it is always a moment i'm somewhat unprepared for because
13:56i'm rehearsing this a few times in my dressing room and then it's time to bring it to the stadium stage
14:00so there's always a level of sort of like nervous anticipation of sort of like
14:05make sure you remember all these words make sure you remember that this song transitions into this song
14:10but there's also an element of detail that goes into it
14:13it's different it's different cause it's you
14:20there were points in this tour
14:47when the tour was the only thing that was really keeping me going in my life
14:52but there were never points in the tour where i thought oh you know what i want to quit the tour
14:56because the tour is hard no my personal life was hard
14:59i went through two breakups on the first half of this tour
15:02and that's a lot of breakups actually
15:05the show was what gave me purpose and was
15:11what i could
15:13use to get me out of bed
15:16so
15:17the tour has never been the hard thing in my life
15:22the tour has been the thing that has
15:24allowed me to
15:26find purpose outside of the shit that was going wrong in my life

16:56well first of all he brought himself onto the stage on this tour
17:01which was one of the funnier moments i can ever remember
17:04how do i put this
17:06travis is like
17:07he's a real

17:11like in terms of life itself
17:13do you want to be centered in the middle of the front of it or behind it

17:23when i wrote the skit

17:27where i had this very dramatic idea

17:35and i die on the stage while singing and then we have this very sort of like cabaret dramatic vaudeville
17:43kind of skit where i have to perk up immediately to perform
17:47i was like oh that's that's exactly the kind of drama i'm trying to put forth here on this tour
17:52but i remember thinking about the skit and always just being like
17:56if there was ever a point to put travis in the show
18:00i think this would be the one but i obviously i'm like never going to suggest that because that's like
18:06i don't want to you don't want to scare people you know
18:10yeah like she has to be head on the left side

18:14i can't remember how it came up i think we were just joking around about like him doing it
18:18like him going up there with cam
18:19and it became very clear that he like wasn't joking and i was like oh wait no you would do that

18:30and he was like yeah it would be hilarious

18:47the way that he just comes to life when the lights are the brightest
18:57people talk about that all the time with him they're like the moment's never too big for travis
19:01the lights are never too bright for travis like i think that's as a player
19:05he can like slow down time in the most stressful moments
19:08and that's exactly what we saw on stage
19:11he got out there and was the most charming
19:17delightful performer you could ever be on the stage with
19:20like his instincts he's just he's just so
19:24magically entertaining
19:26he really is
19:35one of the happiest people i think i've ever met
19:38which i adore
19:40he just brought a lot of happiness which is i think what he does in a lot of his
19:48circles he brings he brings a lot of happiness to the room
19:51and that particular night he brought a lot of happiness to a lot of fans
19:56it was hilarious
19:57i can safely say that that was that was the loudest it ever got on the heiress tour
20:04the one thing about dads that made me fall in love with it
20:21growing up in hawaii i wasn't the typical masculine local boy i felt like i didn't fit in anywhere
20:42i found dance or dance found me when i was seven and a half
20:53they planted a seed of passion in me that i didn't know would blossom into something that would serve me
21:01till now in my life
21:08it gave me a huge sense of confidence and a huge sense of power and belonging and purpose
21:16in 2007 when i got into the industry you had to like fit into a certain stereotype
21:24male dancers they look like this they dance like this female dancers look like this they dance like this
21:30i do love dancing masculine it's something i love to do but i also love dancing feminine and i also love mixing the two together
21:37i was always told wiley you're great but you flip your hair too much or you're too feminine
21:43that stuck with me through different jobs being told different things about my appearance
21:50this job no one told me i needed to be buff
21:56taylor never made me cut my hair i wear different color eyeshadows in different nights
22:03it's been almost 150 shows and taylor not has once said wiley please stop doing that never
22:10i've never been filtered as a person of who i present myself on stage with her and neither has any of my coworkers
22:18and that may seem so small but as a dancer who has been told to change to filter herself for almost 20 years
22:33so many meaningful things to me it is so empowering it is so loving it is so enriching and so much fun
22:48why you should practice again because you're doing it
22:52you know wiley uh as a dancer and a performer he can really channel that kind of like sexy femme side of himself
23:11wiley wanting to be in uh ready for it was just like so refreshing so i was like of course

24:25she put out an arena tour on sale it's sold out in like two seconds it's the dream scenario for how you would want your career to go as an artist

36:09that but I'm even more honored that I get to share the stage with someone who
36:14sees me and not only sees me she celebrates me she looks at me on the

36:50female non-binary I want them to feel seen just like how I felt seen by Taylor
37:07I can't believe that the cities would be completely transformed into really
37:27revolving around and catering to the fans that were coming in for the shows it blows
37:33my mind there's definitely this safety net or bubble that we're sort of
37:39encapsulated in and inside of it is just this joyous phenomenon that we get to
37:44share people are having this special experience where they're singing and
37:51dancing listening to songs that some people grew up with some people are just
37:56starting to love and it really lets them have this moment in time that they'll
38:01never forget
38:11this tour just cultivates I think just good energy it doesn't matter who you are
38:21what age you are I feel like there's just a different type of tour her kindness
38:28and joy she has brought to the workspace is unheard of and it rubs off on all of us
38:38gracey texts me she's like I knew you were tall but like check this out I'm like on
38:47the side of the hotel like a million feet tall I used to have this joke and that's part of why I wrote
38:53antihero is like I'm like a five foot 10 woman followed around by a 500 foot tall like monster shadow
39:01that and this this like monster just like
39:03just like knocks over buildings and and like wreaks all this havoc and the me being that size tall
39:13on a hotel I'm like yeah that's that's kind of how it feels sometimes
39:17we are playing indie three nights and that'll be the last time we do the heiress tour show in America
39:29and it is like five days before the presidential election the one thing I can provide from people is an escape
39:39like nothing could ever or should ever bother any of us and nothing will for three and a half hours
39:45I'm glad that I will have given just a hundred percent girlhood and hope and belief and sweat and effort
