00:27Amno Youth Chief Dr. Agmaul Saleh has urged his party to reconcile with PAS

00:45arguing that past hostilities should not stand in the way of Malay Unity

00:49when Amno is already cooperating with its long-time rival, DAP, in the Unity Government.

00:55The outgoing Melaka Executive Councilor also said he wanted to emphasise the idea of forging a common resolve between Amno and PAS.

01:04Agmaul acknowledged that some in Amno were angry at the idea of working with PAS again

01:09but insisted that the Youth Wing had a bigger agenda.

01:13Speaking at the Amno Youth General Assembly today, Agmaul also urged Zahid to be open to reinstating the party memberships

01:20of those who had been sacked or suspended from Amno, including Khairi Jamaluddin, Hishamuddin Hussein and Shahril Hamdan.

01:29Separately, Agmaul said Amno must confront the present reality of its strength

01:34and shrug off the denial syndrome which he said had taken hold in the party,

01:39adding that some keep saying Amno is fine when the reality on the ground is very different.
