00:01:30On Remembrance Sunday, football paid its respect ahead of today's matches.
00:01:59The table is starting to take shape and it's been a significant day at the top and the bottom of the Premier League.
00:02:06Five games to bring you on tonight's Match of the Day and we are not short of talking points for Wayne Rooney and Danny Murphy.
00:02:13We begin at the Etihad. Third place Manchester City began the day a point ahead of sixth place Liverpool,
00:02:18both looking to make up some ground on Arsenal, who drew at Sunderland yesterday.
00:02:23Commentary comes from Guy Mowbray.
00:02:24On the occasion of his 1,000th match as a manager, Pep Guardiola has said that it could not be better than to face Liverpool.
00:02:33His biggest rival in this country and right across his grand of games, no rival has beaten him more often.
00:02:40He selected a Manchester City team, showing three changes from Wednesday's win over Borussia Dortmund here,
00:02:46with the same line-up as a week ago against Bournemouth.
00:02:49Ruben Dias, Bernardo Silva and Rian Scherke, the trio to come in, replacing John Stones, Tijani Rinders and Servinho, all named as substitutes.
00:02:58The Liverpool side is unchanged from Tuesday's 1-0 win against Real Madrid.
00:03:03Conor Brantley was outstanding against Vinicius Junior and now takes on Jeremy Doku.
00:03:08Whilst ahead of him, no player has scored more goals against Guardiola City than Mohamed Salah, 13 from 23 games.
00:03:16Alexander Isak is back on the bench.
00:03:24That's the boss line.
00:03:28Gravenbeck, looking for that little touch on to Salah.
00:03:33Cherky goes down under challenge of McAllister, and that's a City free kick.
00:03:40And they've got on with it quickly, to give Doku a run at Bradley.
00:03:46Bradley's equal to it, with help from Canate.
00:03:48Oh, they're in one another's way!
00:03:50It's Doku, and he goes down!
00:03:53The next effort block, the next effort block!
00:03:55City fans are still screaming for a penalty.
00:03:57Chris Kavanagh didn't give it.
00:04:01Michael Oliver in VAR will be looking at it now.
00:04:05And the question is, did Mamadashvili bring down Doku?
00:04:09It's that second touch, isn't it?
00:04:11Knee onto left foot.
00:04:13And Chris Kavanagh's been asked to go and have a look.
00:04:15Manchester City have not been given a penalty all season.
00:04:22That might be about to change.
00:04:24After review.
00:04:26The goalkeeper creates a foul challenge on the attacker.
00:04:31Final decision is penalty.
00:04:32Sterling Haaland.
00:04:37He's not 100% reliable from the spot, but he does boast a record of 16 from 18 in the Premier League.
00:04:45Here comes Haaland.
00:04:48Saved by Maladashvili.
00:04:50He read it right.
00:04:52He sprung into action brilliantly.
00:04:55That's his best moment in the Liverpool goal yet.
00:04:58That's huge.
00:04:58Now, did he move too soon?
00:05:02That's the next question that's being asked.
00:05:05No, he didn't.
00:05:07As Haaland struck it, the foot was planted behind the line.
00:05:10No problem there.
00:05:11And it stays 0-0.
00:05:14Mateus Nunes.
00:05:16Thought about it.
00:05:18Now delivers.
00:05:19And it's Haaland.
00:05:20And it's in!
00:05:21He might fail once.
00:05:27He's not going to do it twice.
00:05:31Skimmed off Canate's head onto his.
00:05:35But his body shape was just right.
00:05:38The angle was right.
00:05:40For the ball to deflect in.
00:05:43A goal that has more than the hint of good luck about it.
00:05:47But players like Erling Haaland, they make their own.
00:05:50A 99th goal in the Premier League.
00:05:54And Alan Shearer watches and waits.
00:05:57He's the fastest of the century.
00:05:59He did it in 124 games.
00:06:02This is Haaland's 108th.
00:06:06Nicole O'Reilly can only watch that sail over him.
00:06:08Salah races onto it.
00:06:11Now rushes at O'Reilly to win a corner.
00:06:20Corner in.
00:06:23And it's into the net.
00:06:25Headed in by Virgil van Dijk.
00:06:29Nothing lucky about that one.
00:06:31He just met it beautifully.
00:06:37Oh, hang on a minute.
00:06:38The Liverpool smiles are for now cut short.
00:06:44Van Dijk's done his bit.
00:06:46The problem for Liverpool might be the positioning of Andy Robertson.
00:06:50Look at this.
00:06:51Robertson standing just in front of Gianluigi Donnarumma.
00:06:55Which might well have caused him to react late.
00:07:00He ducked out of the way of it.
00:07:02The goal will not stand.
00:07:05It stays 1-0.
00:07:10It's not only Pep Guardiola's 1,000th game in management.
00:07:14It's also his 550th as the man in charge of Manchester City.
00:07:19387 wins.
00:07:21Only 83 defeats.
00:07:30Jerking.
00:07:33Dijk turns it behind.
00:07:36Liverpool are having to cling on a bit.
00:07:39Got to keep themselves
00:07:40within that one-goal-touching distance by the break.
00:07:46Foden with the corner.
00:07:47He'll be looking for him.
00:07:49But it is Haaland who helps it on.
00:07:50Van Dijk doesn't really get it away.
00:07:53It's Dokku.
00:07:55Van Dijk has got that one away.
00:07:58And it will bounce behind for a corner on the other side.
00:08:04And they've got on with it quickly.
00:08:07Jerking.
00:08:10Niko Gonzalez.
00:08:14Deflected in for 2-0.
00:08:19Manchester City have room to breathe by the break.
00:08:24You can hear the cries of shoot
00:08:25as soon as the ball arrived at the boots of Niko Gonzalez.
00:08:30Shoot he did.
00:08:31In off Van Dijk.
00:08:33City 2, Liverpool 0.
00:08:36Went for the low one.
00:08:38Van Dijk just shifted his right leg.
00:08:40Just ever so slightly.
00:08:42An instinctive move to try and stop it.
00:08:45All it's done is take it past Mamadashvili.
00:08:48Who is surely going to save it.
00:08:50It was right at him.
00:08:52Niko Gonzalez slides away.
00:08:55Having put City
00:08:56into a two-goal lead.
00:08:59First game.
00:09:00Thousandth game.
00:09:01The joy is the same.
00:09:03Gakpo.
00:09:08Gakpo.
00:09:10Wirtz on his inside.
00:09:12McAllister.
00:09:14Bradley.
00:09:15Salah.
00:09:18Salah to Bradley.
00:09:19Bradley across.
00:09:20And it's over the top from Gakpo.
00:09:24Huge opportunity gone.
00:09:26That would have been a great time for Liverpool to get themselves back into things.
00:09:30They start to think it might not be Liverpool's day.
00:09:35Kerkhez.
00:09:36Is Ronaldo Silva's block.
00:09:39And now he has it from Savino.
00:09:45And he gets it back from Gakpo.
00:09:48Niko Gonzalez.
00:09:49He's looking for O'Reilly with that.
00:09:55Ireland's preserving energy.
00:09:56It's just a gentle jog up towards the box.
00:09:59Here's Doku.
00:10:00Full of energy.
00:10:01Oh, it's magnificent.
00:10:05Three for City.
00:10:08If anybody's deserved to get their name on the score sheet today.
00:10:12But it has to be Jeremy Doku.
00:10:15It's his first Premier League goal of the season.
00:10:18It's a beauty.
00:10:19And it's surely sealed the home win here.
00:10:23Out of the reach of Mamadashvili.
00:10:26And it's almost certain that this game is out of Liverpool's reach.
00:10:30Manchester City 3, Liverpool 0.
00:10:33He's always happy when he's winning.
00:10:36That beam just seems to have a little extra glint in it today.
00:10:45That's Kerkhez.
00:10:46Van Dijk couldn't get high enough.
00:10:49Salah.
00:10:51Saboslai!
00:10:53Saved by Donnarumma.
00:10:57Saboslai must have been certain that he was narrowing the gap here.
00:11:02What a strike.
00:11:03And a strong left arm from Manchester City's keeper keeps him out.
00:11:06Donnarumma.
00:11:13But Kerkhez is there for Liverpool and he might have given a chance here for Mohamed Salah.
00:11:18Who is in on goal and has put it wide.
00:11:20Well that was the moment to get their customary goal.
00:11:27A little grab from Josco Guardiola which might have just done enough.
00:11:31And forced Salah to put his effort wide.
00:11:33Chris Kavanagh with the whistle to his lips.
00:11:37Game 1000 has gone to plan for Pep Guardiola.
00:11:41And it's City who emerged from the weekend as Arsenal's closest challengers at the top.
00:11:47Manchester City look back to their best.
00:11:53Liverpool, well if not quite back to the drawing board.
00:11:57Sise today that there is still indeed plenty of work to do.
00:12:01Manchester City 3.
00:12:03Liverpool 0.
00:12:03We've got to mention the 1000 landmark.
00:12:07And also it's 550 games as City boss today as well.
00:12:10So it's a double.
00:12:13Does this team and the way it's playing right now.
00:12:15Does that give you the energy to think well there's plenty more to go yet.
00:12:19The season for sure.
00:12:21I don't want to be sacked I would say.
00:12:24So just can say thank you to the players.
00:12:27The staff, the staff to give me that present.
00:12:29I'm so proud to do it here in Manchester with my City.
00:12:32They had a better game plan than us maybe.
00:12:34Or not maybe they had that.
00:12:35City being 2-0 up at half time was a fair reflection of the score.
00:12:39But it's not always about a fair reflection of how you play.
00:12:42Sometimes a set piece can influence the game massively.
00:12:45And that's what could have happened.
00:12:48But I can't agree with the decision being made on that 1-1.
00:12:52Because for me that's a goal.
00:12:55Immediately after the game people showed me the goal City made at Wolves away last season.
00:12:59For me that is a quite similar one.
00:13:02Player of the match was Jeremy Docku.
00:13:04What has he added to his game this season?
00:13:06It looks as though he's gone up at least one level.
00:13:08I know I'm good but don't overestimate me.
00:13:11Because the players, we don't do that to the players.
00:13:13The players do it for themselves.
00:13:14Do you think I teach when dribbles to opponents?
00:13:17And this is their natural talent.
00:13:20And I'm really pleased because he played an outstanding, outstanding game.
00:13:23But do you feel as though yourself and the team have gone up a level in confidence and in performances?
00:13:28Yeah.
00:13:29Every game we're starting to get better.
00:13:32We know who we're playing with.
00:13:33And yeah, I think everybody knows their task.
00:13:37And we're delivering it.
00:13:38Well, that ended a four-game winless run for Manchester City against Liverpool.
00:13:43Impressive all over the pitch.
00:13:44But Jeremy Docku in particular at times completely mesmerising and unplayable.
00:13:48He was exceptional as was the whole Manchester City team to be honest.
00:13:52I think they dominated Liverpool in all departments.
00:13:55Irrelevant of decisions going the wrong way or right way.
00:13:58We'll get on to that.
00:13:59We'll get on to that.
00:14:00But especially the right side for Liverpool where I thought Connor Bradley was left isolated.
00:14:05Hung out to dry at times.
00:14:06And I'm going to show you why.
00:14:08Early in the game, Docku, he started the game electric.
00:14:12He was demanding the ball.
00:14:13Bradley's trying to pick up Docku.
00:14:16Think, where is he?
00:14:17But he's so occupied with O'Reilly as well on the left side.
00:14:20He's caught in between a lot.
00:14:22So he can't quite get tight.
00:14:23He's not sure what to do.
00:14:25Talk about switched on early in the game.
00:14:27Docku nicking the ball off Gravenberch.
00:14:29I think it is there.
00:14:30Going past people.
00:14:31Using his strength.
00:14:33It's the start of things to come.
00:14:36Again, one-on-one here.
00:14:37He's making his intent known.
00:14:39I've got the pace.
00:14:40I'm going to beat you.
00:14:41I'm going to run at you.
00:14:42I'm going to use my strength.
00:14:43I'm going to try and make things happen and impact the game.
00:14:45That's poor from Canati.
00:14:46Don't get me wrong.
00:14:48And then they get the penalty, which, of course, they missed.
00:14:50I mean, this can't happen in a game of this quality.
00:14:53You're playing high.
00:14:54Salah's there.
00:14:55I know he's allowed to stay high.
00:14:56But sometimes you have to take responsibility as a player.
00:14:59My full-back's struggling against a wonderful winger.
00:15:02I should get back and help him.
00:15:03Now, not every time, but sometimes.
00:15:05Especially when you're being dominated.
00:15:08Gravenberch is having to get out of that central midfield position
00:15:11to try and get over and help Bradley because he's having a tough time.
00:15:14This is the strength of him, look.
00:15:15Incredible.
00:15:16Doesn't mind going on his left foot either.
00:15:18Gets another shot away.
00:15:19Second half, more of the same.
00:15:20There you see O'Reilly bombing on, who's been brilliant, by the way.
00:15:24Loves getting forward.
00:15:26Docky, this time, getting in the centre-forward position.
00:15:28But, again, it's problems for Bradley.
00:15:30And it's not like Liverpool didn't notice.
00:15:32Nico O'Reilly's been terrific.
00:15:33That's why he's in the team.
00:15:34You know, he loves getting forward into these areas.
00:15:36But when he did have help and when he did have good cover,
00:15:39you're still trying to stop this man at the moment
00:15:41who probably had the best game he's ever had in a Manchester City shirt.
00:15:45And I'm not exaggerating.
00:15:47And they just kept finding him.
00:15:48The space was opening up.
00:15:49No more Liverpool were trying to get back into the game.
00:15:51There's the 2v1 again.
00:15:52You can see Gravenberch is actually...
00:15:54He's playing his normal position.
00:15:55He's trying to pick up Phil Foden.
00:15:56He's got enough going on.
00:15:59And then, again, look.
00:16:01Too easy.
00:16:022v1.
00:16:02This time, when he scores the goal,
00:16:04I mean, you've got Canate playing centre-midfield.
00:16:07You've got Gravenberch is centre-back.
00:16:08They're all over the place.
00:16:10And that happened time and time again.
00:16:11Now, I think it's OK at Anfield a lot of the time
00:16:15because they dominate the ball
00:16:16and the majority of the teams, they play in the Premier League.
00:16:17But when you're playing the best teams,
00:16:19you've got to double up.
00:16:21There it is.
00:16:2252% down that left-hand side.
00:16:23It's a very deliberate ploy, I think, obviously.
00:16:27But this guy was a pleasure to watch.
00:16:29He's relevant of who you support
00:16:30and who you wanted to win.
00:16:31And you have to admire his skill, pace, bravery.
00:16:35And the goal was just amazing.
00:16:36The numbers are terrific.
00:16:37Manchester City's dominant attack
00:16:39going down that left-hand side.
00:16:40They're not the only team
00:16:40that's targeted that area this season.
00:16:42We saw that, didn't we, with Chelsea
00:16:43actually saying post-match,
00:16:45yeah, that's where we were going to exclui.
00:16:47Yeah, and I think it was evidence again
00:16:48with Bradley.
00:16:50He was isolated, as Daniel Serden.
00:16:53I think Salah, he's in the team
00:16:56to score goals and to create goals.
00:16:58And he's been one of the best players
00:16:59in the Premier League
00:16:59over the last five, six, seven years,
00:17:03whatever it's been.
00:17:04But I think in big games,
00:17:06you have to double up.
00:17:07You have to get back and help your team-mate
00:17:08because Conor Bradley was having
00:17:10a real tough game today.
00:17:12And then to be left on his own,
00:17:13Gravenberg was trying his best
00:17:14to help him and get over there.
00:17:15But then that leaves spaces in another position.
00:17:17So I think for Mo Salah,
00:17:18I think he just has to come back
00:17:19and help his team-mate.
00:17:20OK, there was a big decision
00:17:22which affected in Liverpool's minds
00:17:25the direction of travel in the game.
00:17:26And that was the disallowed goal
00:17:27for Virgil van Dijk.
00:17:28So let's have a look at the wording
00:17:30that is important in the law
00:17:32that relates to this.
00:17:34And then it's offside
00:17:35because making an obvious action
00:17:36which clearly impacts the ability
00:17:38of an opponent to play the ball.
00:17:40So that doesn't require the referee
00:17:42to think that Donnarumma
00:17:43would definitely save it,
00:17:45but only his ability to do so
00:17:46is affected,
00:17:47and particularly by the ducking.
00:17:48But you disagree with that?
00:17:50Yeah, I don't think it's affected at all.
00:17:51I think when you look at it,
00:17:54and yeah, Andy Robertson
00:17:55is in an offside position,
00:17:57but Van Dijk, good movement,
00:17:59really good header,
00:18:00and Donnarumma,
00:18:01so we can see the ball,
00:18:02we know we can see the ball the whole way,
00:18:05and Andy Robertson is to the side of him,
00:18:07and Donnarumma is outstretched.
00:18:08He has a full dive
00:18:09as soon as he can.
00:18:12There's no effect from Andy Robertson
00:18:13on that goal for me,
00:18:14and I think if we see
00:18:16from this next angle,
00:18:18Donnarumma,
00:18:18you see here,
00:18:19he puts all his weight
00:18:20on his right foot,
00:18:21which makes it hard for him
00:18:22to get back across the goal,
00:18:23but he dives as soon as
00:18:24Van Dijk heads the ball,
00:18:25and he's on his way,
00:18:26he's diving,
00:18:27and it's a really good header,
00:18:29and the goal should have stood for me.
00:18:30And this is Man United's all-time
00:18:31goal scorer,
00:18:32an Everland fan, by the way,
00:18:33so you think,
00:18:34I think if he can see it,
00:18:36I can see it.
00:18:37We deliberately split the analysis
00:18:38this way.
00:18:39Now, this is what Arnaz Slott
00:18:40was talking about, Wayne,
00:18:41and this is from last season.
00:18:43This is worse.
00:18:44I think they've got it
00:18:45the wrong way round.
00:18:46I think this actually
00:18:46should be disallowed,
00:18:47because I think Bernardo Silva
00:18:48is involved with the goalkeeper,
00:18:50and now he comes into play.
00:18:52He comes into play here.
00:18:53He's right in the goalkeeper's
00:18:54eye line.
00:18:55So for me,
00:18:56this one shouldn't have stood,
00:18:57and the Van Dijk one
00:18:57should have stood.
00:18:58So this is the confusion
00:18:59which it's very hard to give us.
00:19:00This was a VAR
00:19:01overturning Chris Cavanaugh's
00:19:03on-pitch decision that day.
00:19:04He was involved,
00:19:05coincidentally,
00:19:05with both of these.
00:19:07So obviously,
00:19:08they feel aggrieved,
00:19:08because the momentum
00:19:09can change, can't it?
00:19:10At 1-0,
00:19:11you get an equaliser,
00:19:13and it does affect
00:19:13the direction of travelling
00:19:14in the game.
00:19:14It would have done,
00:19:15but I mean,
00:19:16unfortunately,
00:19:18the level of Liverpool's
00:19:18performance today
00:19:19probably meant it
00:19:20wouldn't have affected
00:19:21the outcome.
00:19:22I think they got it wrong.
00:19:24He makes some great points.
00:19:25To be fair to the officials,
00:19:27I think the fact
00:19:27they gave the penalty
00:19:28early in the game
00:19:29for a player
00:19:29trying to stay on his feet
00:19:31after getting hit
00:19:32was a good thing for football.
00:19:33Are Liverpool
00:19:33out of the title, Rays?
00:19:34Not from a points tally,
00:19:38but from a performance
00:19:39level, yes.
00:19:40They're not playing
00:19:40well enough.
00:19:41They don't look like
00:19:41they're playing well enough
00:19:42to make up the gap.
00:19:43Unfortunately,
00:19:44they're just away from home.
00:19:46They're too easy
00:19:47to play against.
00:19:47They're too wide open
00:19:48and making too many mistakes.
00:19:50And of course,
00:19:51City are well in it,
00:19:52aren't they?
00:19:53And that was some
00:19:53performance to send to Arsenal.
00:19:55I think City's performance
00:19:55over the last few weeks
00:19:56have been great.
00:19:57So I think Arsenal
00:19:59will be nervous
00:19:59because City are coming up
00:20:01behind them
00:20:01and what's happened
00:20:02over the last few years
00:20:03to Arsenal.
00:20:04So with City
00:20:04and Pep Guardiola behind you,
00:20:06I think Arsenal
00:20:07will be nervous
00:20:08with City's form.
00:20:09Yes, some way
00:20:10to celebrate 1,000 matches
00:20:11as a manager
00:20:12for Pep Guardiola.
00:20:13Next up,
00:20:14Newcastle United
00:20:15looking to turn around
00:20:16their away form.
00:20:17Eddie Howe's side
00:20:18were winless
00:20:18in their last eight
00:20:19on the road
00:20:20in the Premier League
00:20:21ahead of their trip
00:20:21to Brentford.
00:20:22Simon Brotherton
00:20:23is your commentator.
00:20:25A week on
00:20:26from their defeat
00:20:27at West Ham,
00:20:27Newcastle are back
00:20:28in London
00:20:29looking to banish
00:20:30the away day blues
00:20:31to prevent
00:20:32to limit
00:20:32their pregnancy progress.
00:20:34Brentford in contrast
00:20:35have surprised many
00:20:36after a summer
00:20:37of upheaval
00:20:37and have 13 points
00:20:39after 10 games
00:20:40for the fourth year
00:20:41in a row.
00:20:42Talking about
00:20:42Daniel Sirich.
00:20:44Defeat at Crystal Palace
00:20:45as Brentford
00:20:46welcome back
00:20:47fit again Aaron Hickey.
00:20:48Christopher Ayer
00:20:49is absent
00:20:50through injury.
00:20:51Igor Thiago
00:20:51leads the way
00:20:52up front
00:20:52with seven goals.
00:20:53Eddie Howe
00:20:55is forced
00:20:55to make
00:20:55one change
00:20:56from the
00:20:56midweek
00:20:57Champions League
00:20:57win over
00:20:58Athletic Club
00:20:58with Anthony Gordon
00:21:00out because
00:21:01of a hip injury.
00:21:02Jacob Murphy
00:21:02comes back
00:21:03into the 11
00:21:04and Harvey Barnes
00:21:05makes his first
00:21:06Premier League start
00:21:06since the middle
00:21:07of September.
00:21:11Newcastle
00:21:11on their fewest
00:21:12points tally
00:21:12after the first
00:21:1310 Premier League
00:21:14matches of a season
00:21:16under Eddie Howe.
00:21:18There's three fewer
00:21:18than at this stage
00:21:19last year.
00:21:20Tussle between
00:21:23Collins and
00:21:24Dan Byrne
00:21:25and Byrne there
00:21:26looked as if he was
00:21:26getting a little bit
00:21:27hands-on with Aaron Hickey
00:21:28and the referee
00:21:29Stuart Atwell
00:21:30was well placed
00:21:31to see it.
00:21:32Just watch Byrne there
00:21:33looking to get to
00:21:34grips with Hickey
00:21:35not too sure
00:21:36what he's arguing
00:21:36about there.
00:21:42Damnsgaard whips it in
00:21:43dangerous ball
00:21:44Pope's there
00:21:45Igor Tiago
00:21:46Collins stretch for it
00:21:48Aaron Hickey
00:21:49it's blocked
00:21:50and somehow
00:21:51Newcastle survive.
00:21:53Goodness me
00:21:54Brentford so close
00:21:55to breaking the
00:21:57deadlock here
00:21:58Pope with the
00:21:58initial save
00:21:59plenty of defenders
00:22:01back inside their
00:22:02own six yard box
00:22:03the bounce off Byrne
00:22:04struck Pope the
00:22:05second time
00:22:05and it remains
00:22:07goalless.
00:22:10Yarmulyuk
00:22:11the Ukrainian
00:22:12international
00:22:12straight to Byrne
00:22:14lovely touch from
00:22:16Barnes
00:22:16into Gimaraish
00:22:18Murphy's been
00:22:19waiting patiently
00:22:20on the far side
00:22:21Volta Marder's
00:22:22in the middle
00:22:22it's into him
00:22:23Barnes with the
00:22:24opportunity to shoot
00:22:25perhaps
00:22:26still Harvey Barnes
00:22:27beautifully taken
00:22:29first start in the
00:22:31league since the
00:22:32middle of September
00:22:33and Harvey Barnes
00:22:34marks it with a goal
00:22:35it's his fourth of
00:22:37the season
00:22:38it's only Newcastle's
00:22:39third away from
00:22:41home in the
00:22:41Premier League
00:22:42in this campaign
00:22:43but up until now
00:22:45Kelleher has had
00:22:46nothing to do in
00:22:47Brentford's goal
00:22:48swift attack in
00:22:50towards
00:22:50Volta Marder
00:22:51fell to Barnes
00:22:52here still have
00:22:53plenty to do
00:22:54lovely skill
00:22:55and a sharp low
00:22:57scudder of a shot
00:22:59into the back of
00:23:01the Brentford net
00:23:01Brentford nil
00:23:03Newcastle United
00:23:04one
00:23:04Collins
00:23:09Watara
00:23:12held up by Byrne
00:23:15who fouls him
00:23:16there'll be a card
00:23:17there for Dan Byrne
00:23:18and as he walks away
00:23:20muttering under his breath
00:23:21it's not something
00:23:22that he's going to argue
00:23:23about
00:23:24dams guard away to
00:23:31Watara
00:23:32real pace
00:23:35in towards
00:23:35Eagle Thiago
00:23:36but cleared away
00:23:37by Malik Chow
00:23:38that was a bit better
00:23:40from Brentford
00:23:40pace and directness
00:23:42resulting in a throw
00:23:44in over on the far side
00:23:46Coyote sent it in
00:23:50and Pope is stretching
00:23:51there's the equaliser
00:23:53Kevin Shada
00:23:54and at last
00:23:57one of those
00:23:57long throw-ins
00:23:58from Michael Coyote
00:24:00has the desired effect
00:24:02for Keith Andrews
00:24:04and for Brentford
00:24:05Nick Pope
00:24:06was struggling
00:24:07to get there
00:24:08did get a fist
00:24:09to the ball
00:24:09well he didn't quite
00:24:11get his fist
00:24:12to it actually
00:24:12it deflects off
00:24:14Bottman
00:24:14and Shada there
00:24:15stoops to conquer
00:24:17Brentford 1
00:24:18Newcastle 1
00:24:19Tonali forward
00:24:23interception made
00:24:24by Vandenberg
00:24:25who slides in
00:24:26referee had a
00:24:27brilliant view of that
00:24:28and it's with
00:24:29Eagle Thiago
00:24:30into Mikkel
00:24:30dams guard
00:24:31and now
00:24:31Watara
00:24:32faced by Byrne
00:24:34challenged
00:24:35referee has a think
00:24:36is he going to
00:24:39award a penalty
00:24:40is there going to be
00:24:42a card here
00:24:44for simulation
00:24:46Watara's arms
00:24:48are in the air
00:24:49referee Stuart
00:24:50Atwell says
00:24:51simulation
00:24:51you're in the book
00:24:52what's their contact
00:24:54it looked like
00:24:55there was contact
00:24:55between Dan Byrne
00:24:56and Dango Watara
00:24:57VAR
00:24:58will no doubt
00:24:59sort that out
00:25:00but as the challenge
00:25:01comes in here
00:25:01definitely looks as if
00:25:04Dan Byrne
00:25:05catches
00:25:06the Brentford player
00:25:07on his foot
00:25:09the on-field decision
00:25:12is being confirmed
00:25:13by the video
00:25:14assistant referee
00:25:15so Brentford will
00:25:20not have a penalty
00:25:21and Dango Watara
00:25:24finds himself in
00:25:26Stuart Atwell's book
00:25:27so Brentford feeling
00:25:30rather aggrieved
00:25:30by that decision
00:25:31away by
00:25:36Vandenberg
00:25:37Igor Thiago's
00:25:38underneath it
00:25:39good play
00:25:41Shard is in the
00:25:43middle
00:25:43Watara's up there
00:25:44as well
00:25:45Hickey steaming
00:25:45into the penalty
00:25:46area
00:25:46brilliant run
00:25:47Hickey across
00:25:48oh it looked
00:25:49inviting
00:25:49Henderson goes
00:25:51for it
00:25:52Igor Thiago
00:25:53wonderful shot
00:25:56saved by Nick
00:26:00Pope
00:26:01Brentford pushing
00:26:03for a second
00:26:03goal here
00:26:04Newcastle lost
00:26:08five of their
00:26:08last eight league
00:26:09matches in London
00:26:10dangerous looking
00:26:12delivery
00:26:13Malik Chow
00:26:14and Pope collects
00:26:15and that was a
00:26:16really nasty looking
00:26:17fall there for
00:26:18Nick Pope
00:26:19really uncomfortable
00:26:21landing
00:26:22Aaron Ramsdale
00:26:24is a possible
00:26:25replacement of course
00:26:27for Nick Pope
00:26:28Thiago
00:26:32Botman's tracking
00:26:33his every move
00:26:34it's excellent
00:26:35for Miguel Thiago
00:26:36Watara trying to
00:26:37slip in behind
00:26:37Dan Byrne
00:26:38and Watara goes
00:26:39down again
00:26:40it's the same
00:26:41two players who
00:26:42were involved
00:26:42in an incident
00:26:43before
00:26:43the last time
00:26:45Stuart Atwell
00:26:45said simulation
00:26:46no penalty
00:26:47this time
00:26:48he has awarded
00:26:49a spot kick
00:26:50and now
00:26:52he reaches
00:26:53for the pocket
00:26:54it's the second
00:26:55yellow card
00:26:56he knew what
00:26:57was coming
00:26:58Newcastle United
00:27:00are down to ten
00:27:01Brentford
00:27:05quick to counter
00:27:06here
00:27:07Watara with
00:27:08pace to burn
00:27:09it was just
00:27:10inside the
00:27:10penalty area
00:27:11by the slitterest
00:27:14of margins
00:27:14it must be said
00:27:15really close call
00:27:17and they are
00:27:19making the change
00:27:20so
00:27:20little bit of
00:27:21added drama
00:27:22Nick Pope
00:27:24who fell
00:27:24awkwardly a few
00:27:25minutes ago
00:27:26will not face
00:27:27the penalty
00:27:28so
00:27:29finally
00:27:30we're ready
00:27:31to resume
00:27:32Igor Thiago
00:27:33against
00:27:35substitute
00:27:36keeper
00:27:36Aaron Ramsdale
00:27:37oh it's 2-1
00:27:39Brentford
00:27:39and Igor Thiago
00:27:42kept his
00:27:42concentration
00:27:43and made
00:27:45light work
00:27:45of that
00:27:46and they
00:27:47flipped this
00:27:48game around
00:27:49in the second
00:27:50half
00:27:50and Aaron
00:27:51Ramsdale's
00:27:52first touch
00:27:53of the ball
00:27:54in the Premier
00:27:55League as a
00:27:55Newcastle player
00:27:56is to pick it
00:27:57out of the
00:27:58back of his
00:27:58net
00:27:58still time for
00:28:02Newcastle to
00:28:02come back in
00:28:03this match
00:28:03and plenty of
00:28:04it as well
00:28:04and look at
00:28:05the space
00:28:05there in
00:28:06front of
00:28:06Lewis Hall
00:28:07Ramses on
00:28:09the deck
00:28:09Hall's in
00:28:10possession
00:28:10and it's
00:28:12just about
00:28:13cleared away
00:28:14and Rico
00:28:15Henry
00:28:15with a
00:28:16superb
00:28:17clearance
00:28:17for Brentford
00:28:18really
00:28:20important
00:28:21stop there
00:28:21by Rico
00:28:22Henry
00:28:22Newcastle
00:28:24heading for
00:28:24a ninth
00:28:25consecutive
00:28:25Premier League
00:28:26away match
00:28:26without a
00:28:27win
00:28:27you have to
00:28:30say Brentford
00:28:31looking the more
00:28:31likely of the two
00:28:32teams here as
00:28:33Nelson strives to
00:28:34get there
00:28:35it's Igor Thiago
00:28:36and it's all over
00:28:38now
00:28:38Thiago at the
00:28:41double
00:28:413-1
00:28:42Brentford
00:28:42Newcastle
00:28:45are set to
00:28:46lose in
00:28:46London
00:28:47by the
00:28:47same
00:28:47scoreline
00:28:48two weeks
00:28:49in a row
00:28:49Maurice
00:28:51Nelson
00:28:52beaten to
00:28:53the ball
00:28:53but it
00:28:55fell kindly
00:28:55for Igor
00:28:56Thiago
00:28:56and in the
00:28:59sort of
00:28:59form
00:29:00that he's
00:29:01showing this
00:29:01season
00:29:01you'd back
00:29:03him in a
00:29:04situation
00:29:04like that
00:29:05Taylor
00:29:08two penalties
00:29:09in the second
00:29:09half
00:29:10the first one
00:29:10not given
00:29:11the second
00:29:12one was
00:29:12you're a
00:29:13member of
00:29:14the pair
00:29:14of them
00:29:14one thing
00:29:15I would say
00:29:15is our
00:29:16officials
00:29:16have a
00:29:17tough
00:29:18task
00:29:18on their
00:29:18hands
00:29:19navigating
00:29:19these
00:29:19scenarios
00:29:20and
00:29:20situations
00:29:21maybe if
00:29:22we don't
00:29:23get the
00:29:23second one
00:29:24maybe I
00:29:24might feel
00:29:24a little
00:29:25bit more
00:29:25aggrieved
00:29:25but I
00:29:26think
00:29:26ultimately
00:29:27today
00:29:27we've
00:29:27got the
00:29:28result
00:29:28that we
00:29:28deserve
00:29:29the
00:29:29Premier
00:29:29League
00:29:29is
00:29:30everything
00:29:31and
00:29:31at the
00:29:32moment
00:29:32we're
00:29:32suffering
00:29:33in
00:29:33the
00:29:33competition
00:29:33we're
00:29:34not
00:29:34delivering
00:29:34the
00:29:35performances
00:29:35especially
00:29:35away
00:29:36from
00:29:36home
00:29:36that we
00:29:36need
00:29:37so
00:29:37it's
00:29:37a
00:29:38collective
00:29:38thing
00:29:38we know
00:29:40we're
00:29:40going to
00:29:40get
00:29:40criticised
00:29:41and rightly
00:29:41so
00:29:41for our
00:29:42away
00:29:42form
00:29:42and our
00:29:43recent
00:29:43performances
00:29:43and all
00:29:44we can
00:29:44do is
00:29:44stick
00:29:45together
00:29:45and try
00:29:45and fight
00:29:45back
00:29:46you want
00:29:46to create
00:29:47Brentford
00:29:47away
00:29:48after such
00:29:50a win
00:29:50for them
00:29:51in the
00:29:51Champions
00:29:51League
00:29:51you want
00:29:52to become
00:29:52Brentford
00:29:52away
00:29:53now
00:29:53you build
00:29:54on that
00:29:54and you
00:29:55get
00:29:55motivation
00:29:55and you
00:29:56go and
00:29:57stick it
00:29:57on them
00:29:57straight away
00:29:58and you
00:29:58make it
00:29:59a tough
00:29:59game
00:29:59and that's
00:30:00what we
00:30:00want to
00:30:00create
00:30:00here
00:30:01the fans
00:30:01are getting
00:30:01behind us
00:30:02even more
00:30:02and it's
00:30:03enjoyable
00:30:03playing at
00:30:04home
00:30:04Newcastle
00:30:05coming on
00:30:05the back
00:30:05of Liverpool
00:30:06United
00:30:07and Villa
00:30:07they've all
00:30:08beaten at
00:30:08home
00:30:09Brentford
00:30:09we'll get
00:30:09on to
00:30:09them
00:30:09in a
00:30:10moment
00:30:10it really
00:30:10was
00:30:11with Tara
00:30:12Byrne
00:30:12today
00:30:12wasn't it
00:30:13two big
00:30:13incidents
00:30:14that we're
00:30:14going to
00:30:14have a
00:30:14quick look
00:30:15at
00:30:15part one
00:30:16which was
00:30:16no penalty
00:30:17Wayne
00:30:17but you
00:30:18disagree
00:30:18I think
00:30:19it's a
00:30:20penalty
00:30:20I think
00:30:21Dan Byrne
00:30:22he gets
00:30:23himself
00:30:24squared on
00:30:24and then
00:30:26he's in
00:30:26a very difficult
00:30:27position
00:30:27and he
00:30:28puts it
00:30:29outside his leg
00:30:29for the
00:30:29ball
00:30:30and he
00:30:31hits his
00:30:31leg
00:30:31so
00:30:32and yeah
00:30:33he exaggerates
00:30:34the fall
00:30:35slightly
00:30:35but you
00:30:36see here
00:30:36he kicks
00:30:37him on
00:30:37the foot
00:30:38it's a
00:30:38penalty
00:30:38for me
00:30:39it's a
00:30:39clear penalty
00:30:40and I
00:30:40think
00:30:40they've
00:30:40got it
00:30:40wrong
00:30:41again
00:30:41I
00:30:41actually
00:30:42think
00:30:42they've
00:30:42got it
00:30:42right
00:30:42because
00:30:43I
00:30:43really like
00:30:44contact
00:30:45doesn't
00:30:45always mean
00:30:46a penalty
00:30:46it's nice
00:30:47to see
00:30:48a penalty
00:30:49not given
00:30:49when someone
00:30:50dives and
00:30:50jumps in
00:30:51the air
00:30:51like that
00:30:51I know
00:30:52there was
00:30:52contact
00:30:52both having
00:30:53a little
00:30:53smile
00:30:54I don't
00:30:54know
00:30:54who's
00:30:54more
00:30:55relieved
00:30:55whether he
00:30:56thinks
00:31:00was yet
00:31:00to come
00:31:00for Dan
00:31:01What would
00:31:02VAR have
00:31:03thought about
00:31:03this one
00:31:04Wayne
00:31:04This is
00:31:09a clear penalty
00:31:10I think
00:31:10I know
00:31:12Sol's game
00:31:13I played
00:31:13with him
00:31:14for England
00:31:14and with
00:31:16no VAR
00:31:16he leaves
00:31:18his leg
00:31:18out dangling
00:31:19and back
00:31:21then you
00:31:21had to be
00:31:22creative and
00:31:22inventive to
00:31:23try and win
00:31:23penalties
00:31:24and especially
00:31:24at Old Trafford
00:31:25And are you
00:31:26still off his
00:31:26Christmas card
00:31:27list?
00:31:28No he's
00:31:28back speaking
00:31:28to me now
00:31:29so he didn't
00:31:30speak to me
00:31:30for a long
00:31:31time
00:31:31but no
00:31:31we're back
00:31:32talking now
00:31:32And
00:31:33Wittara and
00:31:34Byrne had
00:31:34a part two
00:31:35which did
00:31:35result in
00:31:36a penalty
00:31:36were you
00:31:37happy with
00:31:37this one?
00:31:38Yes
00:31:39they got this
00:31:39right
00:31:39great pace
00:31:41Wittara's a
00:31:42real live
00:31:42wire and
00:31:43Dan Byrne
00:31:43sometimes gets
00:31:44isolated in
00:31:44that left
00:31:45back position
00:31:45I think
00:31:46sometimes the
00:31:47reaction of
00:31:47the player
00:31:47tells you
00:31:48all
00:31:48I mean
00:31:48Dan Byrne
00:31:49was kind
00:31:50of resigned
00:31:50to the fact
00:31:51when he
00:31:51turned round
00:31:51and didn't
00:31:52even contest
00:31:53it
00:31:53gets the
00:31:54little
00:31:54touch
00:31:54as he
00:31:55kicks his
00:31:55foot
00:31:56you can
00:31:56see the
00:31:56boot
00:31:56vibrate
00:31:57and
00:31:57doesn't
00:31:58make the
00:31:59most of
00:31:59that
00:31:59he goes
00:31:59down
00:32:00because
00:32:00he's
00:32:00been
00:32:00fouled
00:32:00which is
00:32:01the way
00:32:01it should
00:32:01be
00:32:01and
00:32:02probably
00:32:04get
00:32:05Brentford
00:32:05what
00:32:05they deserve
00:32:07second half
00:32:08performance
00:32:08because Newcastle
00:32:09were actually
00:32:09okay in the
00:32:10first half
00:32:10They've lost
00:32:11not just
00:32:12their manager
00:32:12Thomas Frank
00:32:13moved to
00:32:13Spurs
00:32:14they've lost
00:32:14some big
00:32:14players
00:32:15in
00:32:15Wissar
00:32:15and
00:32:16Bueno
00:32:16Norgard
00:32:18as well
00:32:18and yet
00:32:19Brentford
00:32:20are doing
00:32:21almost
00:32:22exactly
00:32:23what they were
00:32:24doing this
00:32:24time last
00:32:25season
00:32:25in terms
00:32:26of their
00:32:27statistics
00:32:27look at
00:32:28that
00:32:28their
00:32:29games won
00:32:30drawn
00:32:30lost
00:32:31and goal
00:32:31difference
00:32:32is exactly
00:32:32the same
00:32:33really good
00:32:34coaching
00:32:35they're very
00:32:35well organised
00:32:36they know
00:32:37the plan
00:32:37they're fit
00:32:38they've got
00:32:39great togetherness
00:32:40and Wattaro's
00:32:42been a really
00:32:42good signing
00:32:42Thiago's got
00:32:43himself fixed
00:32:44he missed
00:32:44most of last
00:32:45season with
00:32:45that injury
00:32:46they all
00:32:48deserve a
00:32:48hell of a
00:32:48lot of
00:32:48credit
00:32:49I like
00:32:49watching them
00:32:50play
00:32:50they leave
00:32:51everything out
00:32:52there
00:32:52going there
00:32:53is going to
00:32:53be tough
00:32:54for anybody
00:32:54this season
00:32:55I actually
00:32:56tipped them
00:32:56to get
00:32:56relegated
00:32:57this season
00:32:57understandably
00:32:59I've no
00:33:00problem
00:33:01going back
00:33:01what Keith
00:33:03Andrews
00:33:03has done
00:33:04he's got
00:33:06that bounce
00:33:06what Thomas
00:33:07Frank had
00:33:08and you'll be
00:33:08seeing the
00:33:08celebrations
00:33:08after the
00:33:09game
00:33:09it looks
00:33:11like there's
00:33:11a great
00:33:11chemistry
00:33:12and character
00:33:13amongst the
00:33:13club
00:33:14so I'm
00:33:15happy to
00:33:15say I've
00:33:16probably got
00:33:17it wrong
00:33:17because they
00:33:17look really
00:33:18good
00:33:18conversely
00:33:19Newcastle
00:33:20United's
00:33:20form away
00:33:21from home
00:33:22is worrying
00:33:22to say the
00:33:23least
00:33:23and such
00:33:24a great
00:33:24contrast
00:33:24to their
00:33:25home
00:33:25form
00:33:25especially
00:33:26when you
00:33:26have a look
00:33:26at the
00:33:27attacking
00:33:27play
00:33:27yeah the
00:33:28lack of
00:33:28creativity
00:33:29Eddie
00:33:29I talked
00:33:29about it
00:33:30before the
00:33:30game
00:33:31they haven't
00:33:32got an
00:33:33abundance of
00:33:33options
00:33:33in high up
00:33:34the pitch
00:33:35Gordon's out
00:33:36Whistler hasn't
00:33:36been able to
00:33:37play yet
00:33:37they've got to
00:33:38be a bit
00:33:38braver
00:33:39they've got to
00:33:39get more
00:33:40from the
00:33:40wife
00:33:40the full
00:33:41backs
00:33:41aren't
00:33:41they're
00:33:41obviously
00:33:42missing
00:33:42Liv Rimento
00:33:42who's a big
00:33:44player for them
00:33:44in terms of
00:33:45attacking
00:33:45but their
00:33:46confidence
00:33:46looks low
00:33:47on the
00:33:47road
00:33:47they actually
00:33:48started
00:33:48the first
00:33:49half
00:33:50defensively
00:33:51they were
00:33:51really good
00:33:51they were
00:33:52at it
00:33:52they were
00:33:52winning
00:33:52duels
00:33:53they were
00:33:53in the
00:33:53game
00:33:54they scored
00:33:54a good
00:33:54goal
00:33:55but the
00:33:55second
00:33:55half
00:33:56they looked
00:33:56leggy
00:33:56they capitulated
00:33:57a little bit
00:33:58maybe big game
00:33:59in midweek
00:33:59they had done
00:34:00previously
00:34:01quite well
00:34:02post
00:34:02Champions League
00:34:03games
00:34:03I think
00:34:04the creativity
00:34:06he talks about
00:34:06when you go
00:34:07away from
00:34:08home
00:34:08is harder
00:34:08because you're
00:34:10always on the
00:34:10back foot
00:34:11more in games
00:34:11away from
00:34:12home
00:34:12the players
00:34:13have to stand
00:34:13up and be
00:34:14counted more
00:34:14you have to be
00:34:15braver on the
00:34:16road
00:34:16and he won't
00:34:17accept that
00:34:18Eddie
00:34:18that second
00:34:19half performance
00:34:20was a tad
00:34:20worrying
00:34:20Nottingham
00:34:23Forest
00:34:23have gone
00:34:24nine
00:34:24Premier League
00:34:25games
00:34:25without a
00:34:26win
00:34:26before their
00:34:26meeting
00:34:27with
00:34:27Leeds
00:34:27United
00:34:27Martin
00:34:28Fisher
00:34:28was at
00:34:28the
00:34:29city
00:34:29ground
00:34:29when
00:34:31Forest
00:34:31brushed
00:34:31aside
00:34:32Brentford
00:34:32on the
00:34:32opening
00:34:33day
00:34:33they
00:34:33could
00:34:34not
00:34:34have
00:34:34imagined
00:34:34they
00:34:35would
00:34:35now
00:34:35be in the
00:34:35relegation
00:34:36zone
00:34:36four points
00:34:38adrift of
00:34:38safety
00:34:39Leeds are in
00:34:40slightly better
00:34:40shape
00:34:41but are still
00:34:42too close to
00:34:43the bottom
00:34:43three for
00:34:44comfort
00:34:44both teams
00:34:45eyeing up this
00:34:46one as a
00:34:46real opportunity
00:34:47Douglas
00:34:49Luiz and
00:34:49Callum Hudson

00:42:10openly about
00:42:10they've been
00:42:10through a lot
00:42:11players get
00:42:12rewarded for
00:42:13what they do
00:42:13but it's a lot
00:42:14of play
00:42:14different managers
00:42:15different cultures
00:42:16different environments
00:42:16different ways
00:42:17of working
00:42:17and they've
00:42:18accepted how
00:42:18we're doing
00:42:19things
00:42:19we should have
00:42:20won during
00:42:20the week
00:42:20we didn't
00:42:21but we've
00:42:21put that
00:42:21right today
00:42:22by a good
00:42:22performance
00:42:23and as I
00:42:24said the
00:42:24squad mentality
00:42:25because people
00:42:25coming off the
00:42:26bench to
00:42:26really ignite
00:42:27a performance
00:42:27football games
00:42:28on this level
00:42:29are always
00:42:30decided with
00:42:31small details
00:42:32and yeah
00:42:33conceded too
00:42:34many goals
00:42:35today so
00:42:36after going
00:42:36in lead
00:42:36have to make
00:42:38sure that
00:42:3890 seconds
00:42:39after going
00:42:40in lead
00:42:40we are a bit
00:42:41more switched
00:42:41on to defend
00:42:42the channel
00:42:43the channel run
00:42:43and then to be
00:42:44a bit more
00:42:44honoured
00:42:44in the duels
00:42:45you level up
00:42:46half time
00:42:46it's still
00:42:46all square
00:42:47on the hour
00:42:47then you make
00:42:48three changes
00:42:48all the three
00:42:49players that came
00:42:50on made a
00:42:51significant contribution
00:42:52none more so
00:42:52than Amari
00:42:53Hutchinson
00:42:54who has that
00:42:54many opportunities
00:42:55since signing
00:42:56here
00:42:56what did you say
00:42:57before he went
00:42:58on what you've
00:42:58been saying to him
00:42:58in the week
00:42:59to make sure
00:42:59that he was
00:43:00ready for this
00:43:00occasion
00:43:00has Thomas
00:43:19Tuchel
00:43:20been in touch
00:43:20and told you
00:43:21to get your
00:43:21head down
00:43:21because there's
00:43:22still an
00:43:23opportunity for
00:43:24you to make
00:43:24the World Cup
00:43:24squad
00:43:25yeah he had a
00:43:26conversation with
00:43:26me after the
00:43:27Europa League
00:43:27game
00:43:28told me to
00:43:29never take
00:43:29penalties again
00:43:30he did
00:43:32no he's
00:43:33he's a really
00:43:34open honest guy
00:43:35and the fact
00:43:36that he called
00:43:37me to tell me
00:43:38I wasn't in the
00:43:39squad I really
00:43:39appreciated that
00:43:40all I've got to
00:43:40do is just
00:43:41focus on myself
00:43:41and focus on
00:43:42my team here
00:43:43and putting the
00:43:43performances right
00:43:44to put myself
00:43:45in a good
00:43:46position to get
00:43:46called up so
00:43:47yeah that's all
00:43:48I can do
00:43:48big win for
00:43:49Sean Dyche and
00:43:50Forrest today
00:43:51they spent money
00:43:51in the summer
00:43:52they brought in
00:43:53quite a few
00:43:53big players
00:43:54and then of
00:43:54course managerial
00:43:55change it's been
00:43:56a bit bumpy
00:43:56for those new
00:43:57recruits hasn't
00:43:57it but two of
00:43:58them had a big
00:43:58impact today
00:43:59they did
00:44:00and Doy started
00:44:01on the right
00:44:02he's had some
00:44:04good moments in
00:44:04the Forrest sure
00:44:05but today he was
00:44:06outstanding
00:44:06arguably had his
00:44:07best game
00:44:08really positive
00:44:09with his play
00:44:10had a hand in the
00:44:12first goal which
00:44:13you'll see now
00:44:13but he's very
00:44:14direct he's quick
00:44:15and he takes
00:44:16responsibility
00:44:17he wants to
00:44:17make assists
00:44:18and score goals
00:44:19and when you play
00:44:20high up the pitch
00:44:21in this level
00:44:21you've got to be
00:44:22doing that
00:44:23really good cross
00:44:24there causing
00:44:25problems
00:44:25and this is what
00:44:27I like
00:44:27he's capable of
00:44:28playing on both
00:44:29sides actually
00:44:29but he's comfortable
00:44:30on either foot
00:44:31nice and positive
00:44:32and direct
00:44:33decides to have a
00:44:33dig
00:44:34doesn't quite
00:44:35happen for him
00:44:36but he comes in
00:44:37off that line
00:44:37as well
00:44:37he doesn't stay
00:44:38out there
00:44:39he wants to
00:44:40cause problems
00:44:41by getting himself
00:44:42in good positions
00:44:42in the box
00:44:43and another good
00:44:44strike
00:44:44and the defensive
00:44:45work which
00:44:45obviously Sean
00:44:46Dice demands
00:44:47from his players
00:44:48as he should
00:44:51and then the
00:44:52ability to go
00:44:52past people
00:44:53and get your
00:44:53team up the
00:44:54pitch
00:44:54and then
00:44:54really positive
00:44:55substitutions
00:44:56from Sean Dice
00:44:56bringing three
00:44:57on 59 minutes
00:44:58Amari Hutchinson
00:45:00we've seen his
00:45:00talent before
00:45:01but he hasn't
00:45:02had much of a
00:45:03chance for us
00:45:04to show his
00:45:05quality
00:45:05and this is a
00:45:07brilliant cross
00:45:07for Morgan Gibbs
00:45:08White to put
00:45:09Forrest in front
00:45:09and exactly what
00:45:11you want from
00:45:11your players
00:45:12is to come off
00:45:12the bench
00:45:13and prove to
00:45:14you the manager
00:45:15why you should
00:45:16be starting
00:45:17and he couldn't
00:45:18have done much
00:45:18more
00:45:18I mean this is
00:45:19fantastic skill
00:45:20got the penalty
00:45:22which put Forrest
00:45:23in the lead
00:45:24so he's now
00:45:24knocking on the
00:45:25door
00:45:25giving Sean
00:45:26a headache
00:45:27well he said
00:45:28didn't he
00:45:28the manager
00:45:29I said
00:45:29enjoy your
00:45:29football
00:45:30he certainly
00:45:30looked like
00:45:30he was
00:45:31today
00:45:31and they
00:45:32will enjoy
00:45:32seeing that
00:45:32as well
00:45:33because it
00:45:33seemingly
00:45:34cut adrift
00:45:34just a few
00:45:35weeks ago
00:45:35Wayne
00:45:36now
00:45:36just a couple
00:45:37of points
00:45:38difference
00:45:38between them
00:45:38and Leeds
00:45:39United
00:45:39yeah I think
00:45:41bringing Sean
00:45:41Dice in is a
00:45:42real clever move
00:45:44you know
00:45:44he's experienced
00:45:45in the Premier
00:45:46League
00:45:46and he'll bring
00:45:47all that to
00:45:48Nottingham
00:45:48Forrest
00:45:49so I think
00:45:50I don't really
00:45:52worry for
00:45:52Forrest
00:45:53I think
00:45:53they'll get
00:45:54out of it
00:45:54I think
00:45:55for Leeds
00:45:55I think
00:45:56it's a bit
00:45:57of a concern
00:45:57it is
00:45:58and what is
00:45:58a concern
00:45:59for Leeds
00:45:59is that
00:46:00they aren't
00:46:00getting the
00:46:01goals
00:46:01but they
00:46:01are creating
00:46:02chances
00:46:03big chances
00:46:04they're 10th
00:46:05in the Premier
00:46:05League
00:46:05but when it
00:46:06comes to
00:46:07actually
00:46:07converting
00:46:07those
00:46:08they're
00:46:08right down
00:46:08in 19th
00:46:10yeah I think
00:46:10all he can
00:46:11keep doing
00:46:11is keep
00:46:12trying to
00:46:12create chances
00:46:13and hope
00:46:13that the
00:46:14forwards
00:46:14will convert
00:46:15them
00:46:15but I
00:46:16also think
00:46:17both ends
00:46:18of the
00:46:18pitch
00:46:18I think
00:46:18defensively
00:46:19they're conceding
00:46:20too many goals
00:46:20as well
00:46:20so I think
00:46:22they're in a bad
00:46:23moment
00:46:23and I'm sure
00:46:24they'll be working
00:46:25on it to try and
00:46:25get out of it
00:46:25a point at the
00:46:28moment
00:46:2811 games
00:46:2911 points
00:46:30a point a game
00:46:30is kind of the
00:46:31average isn't it
00:46:31what you're looking
00:46:32at to stay up
00:46:33so at the moment
00:46:33they're on track
00:46:34but they've got to
00:46:36start getting more
00:46:37at home perhaps
00:46:38than just the draws
00:46:38yeah I think
00:46:39their home form
00:46:40is going to be
00:46:40key for them
00:46:41with those
00:46:41wonderful fans
00:46:42they do try and
00:46:44play the right way
00:46:44and they've been
00:46:45competitive in games
00:46:46I agree with Wayne
00:46:47I think defensively
00:46:48they need to
00:46:48tighten up
00:46:49and maybe if it
00:46:49means even
00:46:50creating a few
00:46:51less chances
00:46:51for now
00:46:52just to stop
00:46:52that flow of
00:46:53goals against
00:46:54them but
00:46:54Ellen Road
00:46:55is going to be
00:46:55the key for
00:46:56Leeds
00:46:56it'll be a
00:46:57close one
00:46:57it's going to
00:46:57be a tough
00:46:58season but
00:46:58they've got
00:46:59some good
00:46:59players
00:47:00we'll have to
00:47:01wait and see
00:47:01okay
00:47:02next
00:47:03Bournemouth
00:47:03who began
00:47:04the day in
00:47:05fifth place
00:47:05looking to put
00:47:06Aston Villa's
00:47:06formidable home
00:47:07record to the
00:47:08test
00:47:08Unai Emery's
00:47:09side have
00:47:10lost just
00:47:10one of their
00:47:11last 23
00:47:11home Premier
00:47:12League games
00:47:13Tom Gale
00:47:13was at Villa
00:47:14Park
00:47:14Aston Villa
00:47:17are targeting
00:47:18a sixth
00:47:18consecutive
00:47:19home win
00:47:19across all
00:47:20competitions
00:47:21this week
00:47:22John McGinn
00:47:22extended his
00:47:23deal through
00:47:24to 2028
00:47:25saying it's
00:47:26the easiest
00:47:26contract
00:47:27he's ever
00:47:27signed
00:47:28despite being
00:47:29deemed
00:47:29not fit
00:47:30enough for
00:47:30next week's
00:47:30international
00:47:31duties
00:47:32Ollie Watkins
00:47:33starts
00:47:33defeat at
00:47:34Manchester
00:47:35City
00:47:35ended
00:47:36Bournemouth's
00:47:36eight game
00:47:37unbeaten run
00:47:38Alex Scott's
00:47:39England call
00:47:39up was a
00:47:40surprise but
00:47:41seen as
00:47:41deserved by
00:47:42Thomas Tuchel
00:47:43one of four
00:47:44changes sees
00:47:44Evan Nielsen
00:47:45return his
00:47:46last four
00:47:46Premier League
00:47:47goals have
00:47:48all come on
00:47:48the road
00:47:48just three points
00:47:53separate these two
00:47:54sides in the
00:47:55Premier League
00:47:56table
00:47:56both still
00:47:57yet to lose
00:47:58this season
00:47:58when scoring
00:47:59the opening
00:48:00goal
00:48:00well the
00:48:04wizard with
00:48:04his feet
00:48:05Antoine
00:48:05Semenyo
00:48:06let's see
00:48:06what he can
00:48:07offer up
00:48:07with
00:48:07Bournemouth's
00:48:08first long
00:48:09throw of the
00:48:09game
00:48:10it's met
00:48:12by the
00:48:12heads
00:48:13of Morgan

00:48:14Smith and

00:48:16play
00:48:17continues
00:48:17Martinez
00:48:18snakes
00:48:19the save
00:48:19to Nessie
00:48:20but that
00:48:21was an
00:48:21awful
00:48:21clash of
00:48:22heads
00:48:22there
00:48:23two
00:48:25Bournemouth
00:48:25men
00:48:26going for
00:48:26the same
00:48:27ball
00:48:27Adam
00:48:30Smith is
00:48:31the first
00:48:31to get
00:48:32to his
00:48:32feet
00:48:32clearly
00:48:34blooded
00:48:34and he's
00:48:36followed
00:48:36by his
00:48:37American
00:48:38teammates
00:48:38so Adam
00:48:40Smith
00:48:40has gone
00:48:41off
00:48:41but
00:48:41Tyler
00:48:42Adams

00:51:58Tavenier continues to travel ran into his own teammate but Semenyo takes over
00:52:06trying to bulldoze his way through deflects and oh what a recovery from Emi Martinez
00:52:13Kluivert does the initial hard work Semenyo takes over tries to force his way through
00:52:22and Scott sees his effort flick up and showing just why he's a two-time winner of the best
00:52:29goalkeeper in the world Kluivert finds Tavenier wants it back Kluivert first time cross towards
00:52:38Scott at the near post cons it puts it behind doing all they can here Bournemouth to get that next goal
00:52:48in this match Tavenier it's off the post true fair and it's flicked off Esri Konza
00:53:00they're knocking very hard on the Aston Villa door here Tavenier badly stopped by McGinn Kruppi wants it
00:53:12first touch for the substitute
00:53:15Tavenier is keeping pace Kruppi's cross flicks off Onana's head and it will be a Bournemouth corner
00:53:24Bournemouth's sixth corner of the second half eight in total
00:53:33Tavenier
00:53:36towards the back post Evan Nielsen did that come off an arm penalty
00:53:42Morgan Rodgers it is the guilty party
00:53:47I think Emi Buendia is appealing to say Rodgers was pushed here by Evan Nielsen
00:53:53it's definitely an outstretched arm he's unaware Morgan Rodgers but
00:53:58it's clearly away from his body so it's Antoine Semenyo in front of a vociferous
00:54:08halt end Bournemouth really need this if they want to get something out of the West Midlands
00:54:14here today Semenyo denied by Martinez
00:54:20what a fine penalty stop that is from the Argentine international
00:54:27well two clean sheets so far and Emi Martinez doing all he can to try and make that three here today
00:54:35Oli Watkins

00:54:48earn Aston Villa a corner
00:54:50Dina
00:54:54clicked on and headed home by Ross Barkley
00:54:58and this surely has wrapped things up for Unai Emery's side it's the fourth goal Aston Villa have scored from a corner
00:55:09the decoy was to go short and that's a really well executed flick from Ross Barkley

00:55:51Sancho it is who spots Telemans
00:55:55his strike
00:55:57and it comes off the heel of the Dutchman
00:56:00a fourth consecutive home win in the Premier League for Unai Emery
00:56:05and it's Andoni Irayola's heaviest defeat of the season
00:56:09full-time Aston Villa 4
00:56:11Bournemouth 0
00:56:12really the players they were so so focused everything we needed to play and we needed to respond against them
00:56:22we were struggling at the beginning the second half a little bit but we reacted fantastic as well with the suits players as well giving us fresh legs
00:56:30I think first half we didn't compete at the level that this game required and second half I was really pleased with the performance we were pushing them a lot I think we created some very good chances
00:56:40we didn't take them and after we conceded the last two goals in two corners
00:56:444-0 at home biggest picture of the season celebrating with our fans I think it doesn't get any better than that
00:56:50I think we kind of beat them at their own game I think they're pretty intense team and I think we you know beat them in that today
00:56:58duos you know really intense playing really aggressively and I think that was the big difference today
00:57:02I think Unana said it best didn't he they out Bournemouth to Bournemouth with their energy and intensity today Wayne
00:57:07they did and I thought they were excellent and Unai Emery made six changes from the game on Thursday night and you've seen that right from the start the energy the intensity the attitude to get to the ball and going to win the ball back and we see here the four main players in that highlighted
00:57:25and then getting turned on the ball going to win it back sustaining attacks being positive getting a shot off a goal here I think this this set the tone for the for the rest of the game and again here you see Ben Deere
00:57:41trying to win the ball trying to win the ball back out of the pitch but you look at his work rate his energy his commitment to help his team out to help his defenders out he's run 60-70 yards here just to stop across and that was all game this was happening John McGinn getting on the ball getting turned being aggressive tenacious driving out
00:58:02at the defense and good ball to Wally Watkins and the great opportunity from it and Ben Deere again being aggressive forcing the play back winning the ball losing the ball but staying with it and getting another block here and this is the stuff the fans get up for and the fans you know appreciate the work rate from them again win the ball high up the pitch Morgan Rogers here gets across into the into the penalty area they lose the ball
00:58:32but then look at Dean and onana go to commit to win the ball back to get it back out wide and you look here and look at Dean his run here takes Scott away from onana and it creates that space for a good pass back and then onana taking the touch and getting this goal and I thought Villa were excellent today and you can look at the score the score line it was well deserved because the energy the commitment and they were clinical
00:58:59two and a half time and they came out Bournemouth with a lot more energy a lot more intensity and that's when you need your twice world goalkeeper of the year to step up and boy did he
00:59:09yeah he's a he's an amazing goalkeeper and when you do I mean Bournemouth are a hell of a good side they've been brilliant and they were going to have a spell in the game
00:59:17obviously the deflection there nearly deceives him but he moves his feet beautifully
00:59:21and it gives everyone reassurance when you've got in behind I mean this penalty save is absolutely
00:59:27outstanding because Semenya he actually strikes it quite nicely into the bottom corner it's a really
00:59:33strong right hand and he's been a really good goalkeeper for them since the day he walked through
00:59:39the door and they're better with him they didn't get a win in their first five league matches this season
00:59:43Aston Villa really poor start but boy have they turned it around just that one defeat in six and that was of course
00:59:49to Liverpool last week
00:59:51yeah they started the season off not great and they were struggling to score goals but as we see here the recent form is excellent and they've got good players and they've got a good fan base
01:00:02and you get behind them and push them on and you know they'll be up there this season I think the signs are really good for them
01:00:09Thomas Tuchel explained why he hasn't got Ollie Watkins in the current England squad he said he wants to give him some time
01:00:14he thinks to recover from an injury looks like he's been playing with discomfort he said it's not to do with his form one goal
01:00:20so far for him though this season
01:00:22yeah he's not had the numbers he would want but I think he's proven himself in an England shirt before
01:00:28and if he can stay fit and score a few more goals he's something different
01:00:32he gives us that ability to run in behind he works tirelessly
01:00:36he's good around the group I think he'll be in the World Cup squad as long as he stays fit
01:00:40okay Crystal Palace did the double over rivals Brighton last season for the first time since 1933
01:00:46just a point separated the two sides before their first meeting this season
01:00:50Steve Wilson was at Selhurst Park
01:00:52where Crystal Palace are unbeaten in 11 games in all competitions
01:00:58and Brighton are hoping to win back-to-back league games for the first time this season
01:01:02Palace captain Mark Gehe misses out having suffered a foot injury on Thursday

01:01:28one set of supporters agree that this is not a derby

01:01:36they don't do that

01:02:11Diego Gomez denied
01:02:13Palace just seem to evaporate in front of Diego Gomez the flag has gone up now
01:02:19well credit
01:02:22Dean Henderson for keeping Palace level here
01:02:25it's extraordinary really that Saar and Munoz just left it to each other
01:02:31and Diego Gomez romped between them
01:02:33good chance that
01:02:36good save
01:02:37he's Wharton
01:02:41Diego Gomez has wrestled it away from Adam Wharton
01:02:46it's three onto two here

01:02:50Diego Gomez
01:02:50Yankuba Minte flushes lines
01:02:55well that is the best chance of the first half by some distance and Minte just never seemed to compose himself
01:03:06no changes at half time
01:03:11no changes at half time
01:03:12Brighton have given the ball away badly here

01:03:35Saar managed to stay on his feet here
01:03:38and Kamada
01:03:40couldn't hit it first time
01:03:42and by the time he hit it
01:03:43there were three yellow shirted defenders between him and the goal
01:03:47that is a really good chance

01:03:54Vrute
01:03:59can't get it through

01:04:01it's a good challenge by Rute
01:04:06Minte
01:04:08Jorginho Rute
01:04:11and he's gone to ground too easily
01:04:15I think it's put over the top
01:04:16oh it's given the penalty
01:04:17Tim Robinson points to the penalty spot
01:04:22well
01:04:23well Rute gets himself inside the penalty area
01:04:27there's not much in that for me
01:04:29video assistant referee Paul Howard
01:04:32is going to go and ask Tim Robinson to have a look at that
01:04:35and I'm struggling to see a foul
01:04:38and I'm not sure Tim Robinson's going to find one when he gets the opportunity to look again
01:04:43after review
01:04:46writer number 10
01:04:49initiate contact
01:04:50for Crystal Palace number 10
01:04:52my final decision
01:04:55is indirect free kick
01:04:57and yellow card
01:04:59for simulation
01:05:00well
01:05:02he's doing his best to look astonished
01:05:04but it's the correct outcome
01:05:06there's a man down for Brighton here
01:05:15it's Ferdi Cadiolu
01:05:16Joel Feltman's being
01:05:19held by Mitchell
01:05:21but the free kick has gone
01:05:23against the Brighton defender
01:05:25who not only gets a free kick given against him
01:05:28but he gets a yellow card as well
01:05:29maybe 90 seconds to play
01:05:35maybe
01:05:36Pinot's ball into the Brighton penalty area
01:05:42knotted back across
01:05:43missed by Simas
01:05:45oh good save Verbruggen
01:05:46that's a really top save
01:05:48Pinot hit it really well
01:05:51real fizzer from Pinot
01:05:54pushed around by Verbruggen
01:05:56it's a really good stop
01:05:59worked really well
01:06:03for the clean sheet
01:06:04and I think when
01:06:05when we use our chances
01:06:07we are the winner
01:06:08we are the deserved winner
01:06:10from this game
01:06:10but sometimes
01:06:11football is like this
01:06:12so we always have to defend
01:06:14and that's always
01:06:16what we try to do
01:06:17what we try to prioritise
01:06:18so Defer was quite happy
01:06:19there was one moment
01:06:21or couple of minutes
01:06:22which would have been quite nervous
01:06:23for you when the referee
01:06:24gave a penalty
01:06:24I think most people
01:06:26who have seen it again
01:06:27would say that
01:06:28VAR got it right in the end
01:06:29exactly
01:06:30it was on the
01:06:31on the big screen
01:06:32and in the stadium
01:06:34yes it was a clear
01:06:36diver
01:06:36Glasner happy with the decision
01:06:38and actually Wayne
01:06:39we've had a lot of
01:06:40VAR on tonight's show
01:06:42haven't we
01:06:42but you think this is
01:06:43a really good example
01:06:43of where it gets it right
01:06:44yeah it is
01:06:46and I think
01:06:46the officials get the spot on
01:06:48and some referees
01:06:49can make a mistake
01:06:50on the pitch
01:06:51which happened
01:06:52and in real time
01:06:53I actually thought
01:06:53it was a penalty
01:06:55but we see here
01:06:56he's clearly
01:06:57he's got plays round him
01:06:59and he's clearly
01:06:59threw himself to the ground
01:07:00trying to win a penalty
01:07:01and rightly so
01:07:03you know
01:07:03VAR have stood in
01:07:04come in
01:07:04and got the right decision
01:07:06in the end
01:07:06so this was a very good
01:07:09use of VAR
01:07:10I agree completely
01:07:13don't want to see that
01:07:15from anyone
01:07:15that would
01:07:16you'd have got a yellow
01:07:17for that one we saw
01:07:18wouldn't you
01:07:19Saul catches me
01:07:21I can't quite get over your arms
01:07:24Mark Gahey
01:07:26woke up in pain
01:07:27he's on crutches
01:07:28he's not got a fracture
01:07:30Oliver Glasner says
01:07:31because they've
01:07:32they've looked at his foot
01:07:34but he was in pain
01:07:35and they can't quite say
01:07:36at the moment
01:07:36what it is
01:07:37worrying for them
01:07:38obviously with
01:07:39you know
01:07:39such an influential player
01:07:40they kept a clean sheet today
01:07:41but they will want to get him back
01:07:42as quickly as possible
01:07:43they will of course
01:07:44because he's the captain leader
01:07:46he's a phenomenal player
01:07:47he gives them calmness
01:07:48and class at the back
01:07:49the fact there's no break
01:07:51or crack
01:07:52or anything like that
01:07:52is great news for him
01:07:53probably means only a few weeks
01:07:55rather than a few months
01:07:56and of course for England
01:07:57because I think he's
01:07:58England's best centre back
01:07:59I think he's
01:08:00he's grown that much
01:08:02into the role
01:08:02and he is massively important

01:10:33game over
01:10:34well the BBC
01:10:40understands that
01:10:41Rob Edwards
01:10:42is set to be
01:10:43announced as the
01:10:44new Wolves boss
01:10:45tomorrow
01:10:45a former player
01:10:46and youth coach
01:10:47on Molyneux
01:10:47he is set to sign
01:10:48a three and a half
01:10:49year contract
01:10:50with Wolves
01:10:51they're also
01:10:52paying compensation
01:10:53to Middlesbrough
01:10:54of around
01:10:54three million pounds
01:10:55Borough stood him
01:10:56down of course
01:10:57ahead of yesterday's
01:10:58match with Birmingham
01:10:59he didn't take
01:10:59training either
01:11:00on Friday
01:11:01so there's been
01:11:02a lot of chat
01:11:02about this
01:11:03over the last
01:11:0324 hours
01:11:04with Middlesbrough
01:11:05fans feeling
01:11:06disgruntled
01:11:07to put it mildly
01:11:08feeling aggrieved
01:11:09that he would
01:11:11just walk out
01:11:11as they see it
01:11:12like that
01:11:13having given him
01:11:14the chance
01:11:14to go forth
01:11:16in his managerial
01:11:17career
01:11:17how do you see it
01:11:18Wayne?
01:11:19Yeah I think
01:11:19they've got a point
01:11:20I think he hasn't
01:11:22been there
01:11:22for that long
01:11:23and Middlesbrough
01:11:24obviously
01:11:24bring him in
01:11:26after his time
01:11:27at Luton
01:11:28so I think
01:11:29they've got a point
01:11:29but then I also
01:11:30think that
01:11:31we see clubs
01:11:33getting rid of
01:11:34managers now
01:11:34after two months
01:11:36of being at the club
01:11:38so you can question
01:11:39loyalty that way
01:11:40as well
01:11:41but yeah
01:11:41I think
01:11:41for him
01:11:43it's a good opportunity
01:11:45but I can see
01:11:46the Middlesbrough fans
01:11:47and why would
01:11:47be upset with him?
01:11:48You're not quite
01:11:49so on their side?
01:11:51Well I'm more of a
01:11:51realist in football
01:11:52these days
01:11:52I mean he's
01:11:53he's got family
01:11:54near the area
01:11:56in Telford
01:11:56near Wolves
01:11:57he's got an affinity
01:11:59with the clubs
01:12:00he's spent many years
01:12:00there as a player
01:12:01and coach as well
01:12:02he's going to get
01:12:03paid more money
01:12:04which is important
01:12:06to some people
01:12:06most people
01:12:07and he's probably
01:12:08even if they were
01:12:09to go down
01:12:10with the parachute
01:12:10payments
01:12:11going to have
01:12:11a much stronger
01:12:12squad with Wolves
01:12:13than Middlesbrough
01:12:13Well they presumably
01:12:14have brought him in
01:12:15in the hope
01:12:15that that doesn't happen
01:12:16he's got a big job
01:12:17on his hands though
01:12:18let's have a quick look
01:12:19at where they are at
01:12:21in terms of stats
01:12:22this season
01:12:23rock bottom pretty much
01:12:24in terms of goals scored
01:12:26goals conceded
01:12:27and equal 19th
01:12:29on clean sheets
01:12:29he has an enormous job
01:12:31to do with them
01:12:31when Pereira came in
01:12:32they were four points
01:12:34from safety
01:12:35they're currently
01:12:35eight points
01:12:36from safety
01:12:37is it an impossible job
01:12:39to save him this season
01:12:40is he looking
01:12:40beyond that?
01:12:41I wouldn't say
01:12:43it's impossible
01:12:44but I think
01:12:45it's very unlikely
01:12:45I think
01:12:46you know
01:12:46the form this season
01:12:47has been horrendous
01:12:49really
01:12:50and you know
01:12:51obviously that's why
01:12:51they've changed
01:12:52the manager
01:12:52and it's a tough
01:12:54job for them
01:12:55but
01:12:55the supercomputer
01:12:56certainly thinks
01:12:57it's going to be tough
01:12:58and we shouldn't
01:12:59obviously put too much
01:13:00store by this
01:13:01but 91% chance
01:13:02of survival
01:13:03I think they've got it
01:13:04pretty right
01:13:04it's too big a mountain
01:13:06to climb now
01:13:06and you're looking
01:13:07for the long term
01:13:08for him then
01:13:09I think so
01:13:09three and a half
01:13:09year contract
01:13:10suggests that
01:13:11doesn't it
01:13:11bigger picture
01:13:11OK
01:13:12thank you very much
01:13:13both of you
01:13:13let's have a quick
01:13:14look at the table
01:13:15then shall we
01:13:15Manchester City
01:13:16cut Arsenal's lead
01:13:18at the top
01:13:18to four points
01:13:19going into
01:13:19the international break
01:13:20two teams have come
01:13:21from eight points
01:13:22back after 11 matches
01:13:23to win the title
01:13:23but that's the task
01:13:24now facing Liverpool
01:13:25after their fifth
01:13:26defeat of the season
01:13:27at the bottom
01:13:27Forest's first league
01:13:28winner Deshaun Daesh
01:13:29moves them to
01:13:29within one point
01:13:30of safety
01:13:30Newcastle's poor
01:13:32start to the season
01:13:32and Leeds also four
01:13:33means they both
01:13:34hover just above
01:13:34the relegation zone
01:13:35another landmark day
01:13:37for Pep
01:13:37a thousand matches
01:13:38and counting
01:13:38in the dugout
01:13:39and a grand performance
