00:00Trump, the day of reckoning and retribution is coming to Minnesota.
00:05President Donald Trump delivered a sharply worded message to Minnesota on Tuesday,
00:09warning that what he called a day of reckoning and retribution is approaching as protests continue following a fatal shooting involving an ICE agent.
00:18The statement, posted on Truth Social, came amid growing unrest across the state over federal immigration enforcement operations.
00:26In his post, Trump argued that Minnesota communities are being endangered by policies he claims allow violent criminals to remain in the country.
00:34He listed convicted murderers, rapists, drug dealers, and other offenders,
00:39asserting that ICE's mission is simply to remove such individuals and return them to prisons or institutions, many of them outside the United States.
00:48Trump blamed previous federal leadership for what he described as disastrous open-border policies,
00:53claiming that crime rates fall wherever ICE conducts enforcement actions.
00:58The president pointed to Chicago as an example, saying that despite opposition from local leaders,
01:03federal efforts there resulted in thousands of criminals being removed and noticeable improvements in public safety.
01:10He accused Minnesota Democrats of welcoming unrest from what he called anarchists and professional agitators,
01:16alleging that the chaos distracts from a purported multibillion-dollar fraud scandal in the state.
01:20Trump ended his message by urging Minnesotans not to fear and reiterating that accountability is coming.
01:27At the same time, Minnesota officials and the cities of Minneapolis and St. Paul have filed a lawsuit against the Trump administration,
01:35describing the increased presence of immigration agents as a
01:38federal invasion. Protests against ICE have spread statewide following the death of Renee Good,
01:45a 37-year-old mother of three who was shot during an ICE operation after allegedly driving her car toward an agent.
01:52Federal officials have said the shooting was justified and have labeled Good a domestic terrorist,
01:57a characterization that has further fueled public anger and demonstrations.
02:01Well,
02:02that's just something that was close to me,
02:03that's just something that was going to happen.
02:04That's just a thing that I've been wanting to do.
02:05I just want to tell you about it,
02:06that means that the men and women,
02:08that as it were either,
02:08that can be hard to tell the people.
02:09It's just a moment that the men who hurt his car,
02:11the men and women who hurt us who hurt us,
02:12are facing these figures.
02:13To the men who killed him,
02:14that's just a woman who killed him,
02:15he's been carrying out a man,
02:16what I did,
02:16and he must have been struggling to do with this man.
02:17So,
02:19we were able to deal with that man,
02:20and he was simply to help us.
02:21And he did talk to the things about it.
02:23He went,
02:24Grandmaster's,
02:25by the Germans,
