00:07governor and former Kamala Harris running mate Tim Walls, declaring, quote, there's something

00:12wrong with him. What set the president off? Immigration, specifically his claim that Walls

00:18has allowed an influx of hundreds of thousands of Somali migrants, gangs as he called them,

00:23into Minnesota. The president's criticism comes as federal prosecutors have charged at least

00:2878 defendants, many of whom are from Somalia, with a COVID-related fraud case, stealing funds from a

00:34federally backed child nutrition program. And the president isn't alone in throwing Walls under the

00:40bus for the scandal, though other critics didn't opt for his word choice. Hundreds of workers at

00:46Minnesota's Department of Human Services have ripped Walls for the scandal, which fleeced taxpayers out

00:51of more than a billion bucks. One DHS employee posted on X, quote, Tim Walls is 100 percent

00:57responsible for a massive fraud in Minnesota. We let Tim Walls know of fraud early on, hoping for a

01:03partnership in stopping fraud. But no, we got the opposite response. Another went on to claim that

01:08Walls retaliated against whistleblowers in the case as well. Both the House Oversight Committee

01:13and the Treasury Department have promised investigations.
